After attending a few home shows, we realized we wanted plantation shutters in our home. We talked to multiple companies and got pricing from each. Blinds and Shutters Direct were the most helpful, knowledgable, gave us the best customer service, and was able to give the best value for our budget. Michael and his installation crew were very meticulous and professional with the installation process. The installation took a few hours for 22 windows. Michael is very honest and takes pride in his product. He even brought an issue to my attention with one of the shutters. I would not have noticed this issue, but he knows his product well enough to know it wasn't up to his normal standards. He wasn't pleased with the fitment and would order a new one to replace it. It has been a pleasure to work with Michael and Blinds and Shutters Direct. I've already recommended them to some friends and family. I have used Classic Interiors for commercial flooring and residential. It's higher quality than you can get at Home Depot for the same price or better. They are very competitive on installation, and it's always done right! I have regretted it when I went with someone else on the installation because the quality was not as good. From the moment we walked in the showroom, we were greeted and shown all the different options they had to offer. They had an overwhelming amount of knowledge on their products. We got quote from other companies and their prices were competitive. We did find one company with a slightly lower price, but the quality was nowhere near the Hunter Douglas shades and blinds we were looking at and we wanted something that would last. Michael was professional and above all patient with us when we were trying to decide on window treatments for our entire home. He came to our home several times to help us decide. B&SD did a fantastic job, from sales to installation, all the way through. The salesman was honest about which product would work best/last longest even if it wasn't the most expensive product in the catalog. And the install guys had the job done in about an hour. One on the units was broken right out of the box, but B&SD replaced ASAP and came bac and installed it in 5 minutes. We really appreciate the thorough, quality job. read more
