After many calls for All-State Windows to come repair my NEWLY Installed Windows I had personal issues and a couple of months went by. I called today and spoke to a male and advised him of my dissatisfaction and he got upset and started dropping F Bombs and saying it sounded like USER ERROR implying that they wouldn't fix my NEWLY Installed Windows !!! I bought Windows in August (Over $20 Grand). They said they'll install them in October. They didn't install until Christmas Eve! That's right. Came and made a mess in my house for Christmas Eve. The Sales guy said he felt so bad about the late install he was going to get us a gift card for a nice restaurant. Never happened even though we reminded him three times. Then, I discovered air leaking in from under the window frame of the window they put in the kitchen. I called to complain. They sent a guy out a few days later and he said he didn't like what he saw, and would make it right. NEVER saw him again. I had high hopes, but was left very disappointed. read more

We have 40+ year old windows that we are interested in replacing to maximize energy efficiency. I put in a call at a few different places to obtain an estimate, and an Allstate representative responded quickly to set up a day/time to come out for an estimate. Well, estimate day arrived and I received a call from a member of their sales team. I confirmed I was home for the estimate and he arrived soon after. We spoke for a few minutes, after which he asked if my husband would be joining us. I responded no, and that I am fully capable making this decision without him being present. He proceeds to give me a bunch of reasons why he needs to be present for this decision, and would rather not go forward with the estimate. I brushed it off, but y'all.. I was seriously shocked! He said he would call to reschedule, but I certainly won't be answering. There is no way I would ever give this company my business, nor recommend them to anyone interested replacing their windows or siding. When I told my husband about the incident he said they are clearly sexist and that they just lost a customer. Guess they don't need the business? To the owner of this company, I would highly recommend some ethics and customer service training for your sales team. read more

I had several companies come and give me a quote for windows at my condo at Whitney Place. Allstate had the best price for what the Home Owners Association and I required. I signed with Allstate, and felt very good with my decision. Lloyd was my representative and he explained everything to me. He was great and no pressure. Anyway long story short four weeks later my new windows were installed. Am I happy? You bet I am, I have already given their name to five of my neighbors. Thank you Allstate. read more

I would never use this company again, nor would I recommend them to anyone. I had whole home windows installed for $11,000. Two windows leaking badly, this is an emergency, I have water leaking when it rains. That is an emergency, water leaking into a home causing damage, you come out right away to address your company's install issues. After calling to get immediate help, first time a week passed, and after several calls, texts, and emails of me demanding someone come fix a newly installed window, someone finally showed up. Second window now leaking, been a week again since I have heard back, and I have a window leaking from the baseboards all over the floor every time it rains. You will have to get mean and demanding to get them to come fix shoddy install. Use at your own peril. This is terrible customer service. You have a sales person selling windows and an install crew that isn't installing them properly and then lags to address emergency issues. Additionally, they installed four shudders, and one of the screws is terribly in crooked. Why would you put shudders on the front of my home and have the screws sticking out because you put them in crooked. Terrible work and terrible customer service. The install happened at the end of July and I am so mad now I have another leaking window that I didn't see until now. It has been leaking for months. It's behind something so I didn't see it. I am so mad, I just had to post this review. I wasn't going to post the review after the first window started leaking in August, but now I am mad, especially since they don't seem interested in fixing their shoddy install in an expedited manner. If you don't have personnel to fix shoddy work then stop selling until you catch up, but NO, they keep selling to unsuspecting saps. Additionally, I finally got a contractor to come Dec 21, 2022 to paint the indoor frame and new primed sills Allstate installed in late July. There is some expected damage to the frame with a new window install that needed to be fixed. So, the contractor just informed me that Allstate installers used a silicone based caulking around all the inside windows and sills. Well, now we have a problem, the silicone caulking they used on my paint-able surfaces isn't paint-able. And you can see from the picture they used an off white caulking on the sills, making it look terrible. They KNOW a primed sill will be painted, but the silicone caulking they used just made the primed sills UN-paint-able without being primed again with an oil based primer. So, my contractor now has to prime over the silicone around all windows and sills with an oil based primer so it can be painted. My contractor says they should have used a urethane based caulk or any caulk that is paint-able on an inside frame that is paint-able, and every qualified window installer should know this for the inside of the window. So, essentially they have rendered my frames and sills UN-paint-able. Causing me extra cost and delaying my contractor. Additionally, not only did they just use silicone caulk, they flattened it and spread it out so that is reaches well into the frame onto the painted frame and well onto the new primed sill. So, the primed sills I paid for now have to be primed again at my cost. This put my window frame and sill painting behind and will cost me more. I am just livid. I included pictures of how they spread the UN-paint-able caulk over the frame and sill that is meant to be painted, rendering them UN-paint-able. THIS IS JUST UNBELIEVABLE. ZERO STARS. STOP SELLING IF YOU DON'T HAVE QUALIFIED INSTALLERS. read more

Mr. Dan's commercial was the reason I called Allstate, combined with the very good feedback from friends. Rest In Peace Mr. Dan! I called Allstate to schedule an appointment, and low and behold I got this great British Lady named Carolyn, already I felt like I knew the Queen, huh, that's right. Carolyn was the epitome of a genuine company woman.You knew right away she knew her job, the operations, and the availability of the sales staff. Carolyn set me up with Mike to fit both of our schedules. Mike arrived and this young man is "Top of The Line" salesman y'all. We went over what I wanted to do, what I had to spend and what I eventually decided on. He was patient, accommodating, knowledgeable about the products and what could and could not be done with the areas I was planning for. Mike is so very very professional. Not only is Mike a master at sales,and an asset to AllState, but he's also a master musician,huh, well of course the Guitar. Mike scheduled the crew to come out to start the installation. These young men came on the property with all the confidence of their expertise, I saw my front and side entrance start to form as a screened in cozy nook. WoW! what precision with the crew. There was John, Richard, Mark, Jamie, Riley,Brian.Mike dropped by to make sure I was a happy camper, and Carolyn also checked periodically to see if I had any questions( you see mates, why I love the British). John was there to answer any questions that arose during installation. The men had certain areas to cover, my door for instance was put in with such expertise I did not have a chance to have anxiety attacks "aw shooooh". Plus ladies, the installers looked as good as the products, huh, you didn't just say dat,whaaaah, girl you clownin, you done had to much spice in yo crawfish! The screens, panels, metal, and doors (screen doors and metal entrance doors) then the screens in each panel, was put in with such mastery, I was in awe. Every bit of debris was picked up, these young masters were all work, no lollygagging around, the politeness and the caring they showed me as a customer and to my property was unforgettable. What a great experience, what quality products, what masters of their profession starting with office staff, Sales, and Installation. What do you do when your house has windows that are over 40 years old and summer is coming and you have decided that this is going to be the year that you get them all replaced and save some cash on your energy bills? You start by doing a lot of research, sitting through a lot of sales pitches and finally going with your gut. My gut told me to go with Allstate windows. Nope, I didn't just type "new windows" into google and go with the first result; I did my research and I couldn't be more pleased with my choice. Getting windows is a process. First, the sales person will come out to your home, look over your old funky windows, discuss what you are interested in and talk prices to figure out what works best for you. Then another person comes out and measures for the windows and after a few weeks your shiny new windows are ready to be installed. I didn't need a lot done. I wanted a total of 5 new windows. I was told that a few installation guys would come out and work their magic and the whole process, from start to finish, would take a day. I was pretty excited that it was going to happen so quickly. The installers showed up right on time and got right to work. They had the process down to a tee: they cut out the old windows, popped in the new windows, sealed them, worked the rest of their magic and were done! The new windows are GORGEOUS and I couldn't be more pleased. They are double pained and I am already spoiled at how easy they are to just slide open on a nice days. I know that we haven't had a lot of warm days yet, but I can already feel the difference in the house and the windows are doing a great job of keeping all of the heat outside where it belongs. After the windows were installed, I had a few minor issues with some sealing and one of the installers came right back out and took care of it with no issues. This is a follow up to the review I posted below on 10/21/21. After that post I received a reply to give Scott a call. During our initial calls we came to an agreement they would replace the foggy window panel and I would pay for the labor. Well almost 6 months later and many follow back calls, a litany of excuses & empty promises, I am done with this company. While I was waiting, I had a couple of glass companies come to give me a replacement quotes with a two week wait for installation. During our last conversation he told me I wasn't a customer and I was a very low priority. I would suggest when choosing a window company, make sure they are the manufacturers of the windows being installed. I still stand by my first post - Buyers Beware! Your review of Allstate Window & Siding 2021-10-21 07:56:43 Buyers beware! When my windows were installed Allstate sold them with a "Lifetime Guarantee". Well that isn't true. One of our windows is foggy now due to the seal failing. After calling three times to speak to a rep or have someone come out, I finally got a call back. I was told that due to the hurricane (which had nothing to due with the broken seal) all guarantees are off! He said that the manufacturer they get the windows from won't stand behind their windows once the area is impacted by a hurricane! The person I spoke with was very rude. I would highly recommend not using Allstate Windows. Be sure to ask this question before purchasing any windows! Allstate is very underhanded in their approach to the market. read more

I can't comment on the quality of their work, but I would not recommend this company. I called to have someone come out to our house to replace some windows. After waiting more than a week (no big deal, we just had a Hurricane, everyone is busy), the appointed day came and their rep called to see if I was home. I informed him that I was not home, but that somebody who could make the decisions would be there. From the very beginning of the conversation, the representative was rude and condescending, and I got the impression he just didn't want to come out on a Friday afternoon so he could get his weekend started early. After he made excuse after excuse as to why _I_ should reschedule, I decided I'd rather not have this man come to my home. While not a huge deal in the grand scheme of things, we are now going to be weeks to months behind on this project because we scheduled with Allstate. I will start with the positive. The windows are good quality. Their installers are unprofessional. From smoking in the backyard, to hitting the dog with a measuring tape, to absolutely horrible clean up. Let's not forget that I had to pay extra for "capping" that the installers had to do after the windows were installed. I was going to let this go until I thought I paid off my loan with the company they use, Tower Loan, and found out that the 12 months same as cash option was not filled out properly. Now I have over $800.00 in finance charges. Why do I have a feeling that they are getting a kick back from the finance company. I am waiting to hear from Tower Loan about the "mistake" on the application. If that is not resolved, they are next. read more

A couple of years ago, had to have 2 of 3 windows replaced due to a busted seal, the windows installed didn't match my other window in size. the salesman came out & said that is how they just come from the factory. I then asked for the owner to come out & he rudely told me that his salesman should not have sold us those windows(to the tune of $800.00 dollars), I then asked about the older man on TV who says we not only stand behind our windows, we stand on our windows. This owner very rudely said he could replace the third for 300 to 400 dollars. Now the windows have a sag at the opening, never do business with these people! read more

We purchased a home that was built in 1962 and needed all new windows. There were over 20 windows that needed replacing. After much research we decide to go with Allstate Windows. I knew we made the right decision from the first phone call to their office to set up the appointment. The receptionist Carolyn was extremely helpful and connected me with Scott Cantor (he is the gentleman that does the commercial for Allstate Windows). He took my information and personally came out to measure my windows. He explained to us how the windows are manufactured, how energy efficient they are, the time frame it would take the installers to finish and how the final result of the windows would look like. We also decided to have doors we purchased installed. The installers Ivan & Jose showed up on time the day of installation and went over everything they would be doing. I could not have asked for a better crew to do our installation. These guys were awesome, professional, very personable and went above and beyond for us. They installed over 20 windows, patio doors, front and side door. Mr. Cantor and the whole crew at Allstate Windows are exceptional in every way. If I could give them 10+ stars I would. Don't make this mistake. Overpriced windows installed with damaged screens, by installers that took tools that didn't belong to them, left cigarette butts all over, and were arguing with each other as to which one of them will get the money for selling the aluminum window frames they removed from friends home, to sell for scrap. The owner kept bragging he bought Sam Mills home and kept stopping by, but said he was too busy to come back to inspect the problems after the job was done incorrectly by his subs. We had have never seen 1" and larger gaps filled with caulk, before watching this contractor work (they used a few dozen tubes of caulk). read more
