Surprisingly Mike and Dariusz we're open to showing us around including my son who I was on the phone with via FaceTime. The guys should us different years of the Shelby model, 1971 Mach 1 and an Eleanor. Yes! The GT 500. I fell I love! They will customize your mustang to your liking in anyway. From giving your more power by installing a new motor, paint job, interior and even install Corvette style side scoops. I have a 67 mustang with a 6 cylinder inline engine that was originally rated at over 100 hp. Most experts believe that the way these in line 6s are set up, they produce more in the neighborhood of 60 hp. I originally considered upgrading my stock 6 banger motor because my old pony has issues getting up hills in my neighborhood and maintaining HWY speeds of 40 mph. I contacted Terry about options to consider. Terry was very approachable and has gone out of his way to answer questions and provide expert opinion and recommendations. Terry is highly experienced in refurbishing tired and worn out mustangs. He seems willing and capable of recreating everything from a realistic restored vintage mustang to building a performance muscle car and beyond. Terry also provided the names of competitors with expertise restoring Mustangs in the Denver area, and I've since spoken with a number of them. All of the advice and recommendations Terry shared with me have checked out. I am not planning to race my 67. I just want to get around better and enjoy the ride more. I have enjoyed, appreciated and benefited from Terry spending time with me. Classic Mustangs - Auto Repair Near Me - Colorado Springs, Colorado

I had purchased a 1968 Fastback that had a lot of rust and needed extensive work and after talking with Terry and being reassured that they could do it I brought my car to them. Long story and many expensive bills short the car is a mess. The short version: - Inner rear wheel arch spot welds not even holding for a foot long section - Panel under rear window misaligned by 1/2 inch on drivers side - New one piece floor pan was modified to the point where most of it was a good 3/4 inch away from transmission tunnel supports in both front and rear(should have been touching/welded together) - Front subframe assembly was supposidly cleaned up. Found it full of rust and dirt. - Cut the front inner skirts off including all vin locations after being assured they could replace whatever was needed while leaving vin stamps intact. - New upper and lower cowl were installed misaligned, cant get the wiper mechanisms to fit through. When they were closing up shop I was given 48 hours notice that I needed to get my car. I only noticed the issues when I got home but by that point the company was out of business. This review is only being written as a warning in case they decide to come back. I would suggest staying far away. read more

Last year I was fortunate to get my dream car, a 1968 Mustang (Blue Beauty), just like my Dad had when I was a little girl. I needed a runway to stop in the Denver Metro traffic due to the drum brakes. Terry and his team took such great care of Blue Beauty and upgraded her to power steering and disc breaks last summer. The care and attention Terry and his team gave not only to Blue Beauty but me with keeping me updated on her progress was second to none. They had a -0 to put on here I would. I have never dealt with such a shoddy company in my life! Things started off great when they were in Castlerock at a smaller shop, and my husband and I disregarding some of the negative reviews that we had seen, went ahead and used Terry and Michelle to restore our 70 convertible Mustang. Everything was going great while they were in Castlerock we would bring them in burritos and donuts and come and see the car in the progress that was being made, I did not care for the way he did his bookkeeping which I should have known better and been smart enough to make sure that he documented everything in solid stone when performing repairs and installs, as well as any other upgrades and maintenance. He had a way of finagling his books so that you never knew what he was actually spending on what and what had been paid off and what had not been paid off. Even if he printed you a paperwork it would be the next time you came in and asked for the paperwork it would be changed. After they moved to Colorado Springs we had already paid them a good chunk of money to complete all the paint and upgrades and put the car back together looking shiny and new. What we got was they stopped working on our car after we had paid them a good chunk of money that they seemed desperate to get even though the part we were paying for had not been bought yet or installed as well as other money going towards things that we had already had done and to complete the job minus a ragtop. We in the meantime had moved out of state and I think they took total advantage of that situation and when I called to get photos and find out where they were at on the vehicle they kept giving me the runaround and had not posted any pictures for months to show any new progress on or vehicle which they had us name and we named the car Desiree after our daughter. So the last time I called, I told them that we were going to need to take a loan out to finish paying for the car so that we could get her completed and have her shipped out to Missouri, and instead when they thought we did not have any money left they said that they were making them close their new business and they only had three days to get all the vehicles out of there and some had already been taken and totally freaked us out because we were worried about where our car was going to end up. So I asked if we should come and pick the car up and he said that would be great ! So we paid to have the car picked up until we could get out to get it. And when our guys showed up to pick the car up they said there was no sign of them closing and it was business as usual and the car when we saw it was in horrible condition the guts were still missing out of it besides the gearshift and the front and back seats. I think God we got the parts that we had purchased for the car back. The paint job was absolutely atrocious and had chips in the paint. there was Mustang logo on the side panel that had been glued on because they drilled the holes wrong. Nothing was lined up the hood the trunk one of the springs on the front hood was messed up, and they had taken one of the sports mirrors that we found out are hard to get a hold of and now we know why they took it . If I were anyone reading this post please do not fall into the same situation as we have. I am working on a court case against them to retrieve some of our money. Such a shame and to think that he served our country in the military what a joke and a disgrace . read more

So I bought a 1968 Ford Mustang about 10 years ago hoping to restore it myself. I spent a few years working on it and finally realized that I didn't have the knowledge or time (2 kids) to get this done. I looked all over Colorado for a place to take it that I would be comfortable giving my money to and who would listen to what I wanted to have done to the car. I contacted Terry and we talked through everything. I decided I would let him take on the project.... and boy was I glad he did. He came and picked up the car (2 hours away), we talked about what I wanted to have done and then he talked about how the process works. Once he knew what I wanted to spend, what I wanted done and what needed to be done, he came up with a plan to complete it. We decided to do almost a complete restoration on it. He would call me a few times a week and give me updates (along with Facebook posts and emails with pictures) on what was being done and what the next steps were. We decided that he would give me 2-3 options based on what needed to be done and what I wanted to spend. This was super helpful because most places would just tell you "its $200 for this" but he would say "we can do a lower level on that will work for $100, a $200 one that will be better and last longer or a $300 on that will be top of the line performance part". That way I could keep within my budget. It made me feel like I was still restoring it myself! So, long story short, he ended up having my car for about a year as I was in no hurry to get it back and we had a TON of things we did on it over that time. I have to say that the car that is now sitting in my garage was 100X better then the one I had envisioned it my head. I am sure there will be a lot more things that I am going to have him work on and do with the car in the future and I am so happy that I spent my money on the right company.
