I found this homey nail salon to be clean and bright and cozy. They were cordial on the phone when…read moreI made an appointment and answered all my questions. They mentioned that they take cash only so I was prepared to pay them. (I see one customer claiming they do this to scam their taxes, but that is just plain false. Many small business only take cash or check now due to high credit card fees.) The prices of all services were the same or lower than my bigger city hometown where there are nail salons everywhere. Peaceful music was playing and it was quiet and serene even though many customers were coming in and out. There were four technicians on duty. No one had to wait very long even though they had many scheduled appointments and took a few walk ins, too. Emily did my pedicure perfectly and quickly. John did my acrylic fill with one repair gently and quickly. I've been to many nail technicians over 40 years and he was one of the best I've had. He was expert at laying the product on smoothly and thinly so there was minimum filing. The shape I asked for was perfect. I highly recommend this business.

Extremely Disappointed -- Poor Quality and Lack of Proper Technique…read more I visited this salon to have a previous set of acrylics removed and a new full set applied. I paid $90 for the service, expecting a professional experience, but unfortunately, the quality was severely lacking. During the appointment, I noticed the nail tips repeatedly popping off while being glued on. I expressed my concern to the technician and asked if this would affect how well the acrylics held up. He assured me it would not -- but that turned out to be completely false. Within two days, my right index finger nail broke off entirely. Within a week, two more nails had detached. All of the remaining nails have started lifting at the tips, which is unacceptable and indicates poor prep work. It was clear that proper technique and hygiene were not followed: My nails were not cleaned with alcohol before application. Dust from filing was not removed. No prep work was done to ensure good adhesion of the acrylic. This lack of attention to detail and disregard for basic nail prep is extremely unprofessional. I ultimately had to go to a different salon to have my broken right index nail fixed just two days after it was done. I will now need to return again to have the entire set removed and redone properly -- at my own additional expense. I will not be returning to this salon, and I do not recommend it to anyone looking for long-lasting or professionally applied acrylics. I would leave a 0 start review if I could.
