We wanted them to wait until after the dinner to set up the photo booth in front of a very specific spot, where the background would be a custom neon sign we had made for the wedding. They made it work in a small space and set up was so fast, it was done in the time it took to do the daddy daughter dance. We loved how the photos turned out, they created a custom design for the printed photos, and guests had the option to print as many photos as they wanted, email the digital photos to themselves and create fun GIFs. We got digital copies of all the photos online. I hired Classic Photo Booths for my wedding and unfortunately had a negative experience. Leading up to the day, Jake was wonderful. He responded to emails promptly and pricing was transparent. The attendant who came to set up for our wedding and run it, however, couldn't have been any less interested in being there. This person arrived to set-up late, which meant he was doing so in the dark...so when he ran into technical difficulties the photobooth didn't start until after our agreed upon time. He tried to pack up and leave at the same time, though, which my Day of Coordinator requested he stay so we get the full time we paid for. Any time I looked over, he was looking at his phone and didn't help guests with taking photos, leaving many of them (my parents included) wondering how to operate the machine. Jake also promised us that the attendant would encourage people to sign the guest book, and this didn't happen. We had only a few pages filled and it makes me really sad to think about all those missed memories. Many of our guests had no idea there was a guest book to sign because we had been told the attendant would handle this. When the Day of Coordinator and I emailed Jake about what had happened, he was very apologetic. I requested printouts of all the photos which were taken; he didn't do this, but he did refund us a portion of the money, which I appreciated. His customer service was great, but it doesn't change the fact that we totally missed out on those photos and notes from friends and family. From the other reviews on here, it seems maybe we just had bad luck. And as I mentioned, Jake was nice to work with. But looking back now, I wish we had paid more money for a different company to ensure the event itself would run well. read more

Jake and his attendant got everything promptly set up (and cleaned up afterwards), the standard prop box they provided had an awesome variety of hilarious props, and there were no issues with the equipment so our guests were able to take full advantage of the unlimited photos. Customizing the photo strip design was also really easy with their online template designer. The only negative thing to note is that response time can sometimes be a little slow especially if Jake is out at a big event. We hired Classic Photo Booths for our wedding reception. The Vintage Open Photo Booth looks awesome and went with the vibe aesthetically. Jake was very helpful with answering all questions in a timely manner, as well as making sure that our photo strips would be set up to look exactly how we wanted them (we opted to have some of our graphics print over our photos, not just in the border). Our photo booth originally got set up in the wrong area of the hotel (There were two weddings there on the same day, and I'm not sure if the hotel directed them to the wrong spot, or if most weddings they've worked with before have been in that spot), and he was sure to hurry on back and set it up in the right spot in more than enough time with no complaints. We received a link with all of our files and our guests are SO happy with all of the individual photos, the strips with our graphic, and the gif file. The quality of everything is great, especially in comparison to some of the blurry and grainy photo strips I've seen come from other events I've been to. Booking vendors for weddings is tough, and since we were coming from Seattle, we were unable to see/meet any of our vendors in person. Disappointed. My first experience with Classic Photo Booths was at my aunt's wedding. They did a great job and I saw the photo guest book and thought it was a great idea. So when my wedding came around, we thought to hire them. They sent a representative who did not know how to properly operate the camera equipment, and he did not bring a guest book which was included with the package my family paid for. What? I couldn't believe it. Our friends were able to get photos for themselves and they enjoyed it but my wife and I will never have a book with wishes from our friends and family with their photos. After emailing with the owner about this issue he responded in a very passive aggressive tone about how some of our guest printed extras and we should have been charged more. Really? Own up. They sent someone who didn't know what they were doing and we didn't receive the services we paid for. The owner assured us he would assemble a photo book and send it out as soon as possible... two months ago. Still no word from him about it. So I say, if you get someone who knows what they are doing and they show up prepared, you will probably get good service. However, this has not been my experience. read more

I had a hellish experience with a vacation rental. The day we were to move in we were told the last renters totally wrecked the place. So we were moved to another location temporarily but could still move to the original location if the place got fixed up in time. I called Classic Photo Booths to give them a heads up, but said to assume it was at the first agreed upon location unless I said otherwise. Luckily we were able to get the original location a day later. Then on the day of the event I tried to reach them by email & phone just in case there were any issues but I didn't immediately reach anyone. Then I get a missed phone call followed by an email less than an hour before they were supposed to show up. The email explained they had to cancel because they were busy on other jobs. They said they were waiting around all day to find out where the event was taking place. Even if you can't follow simple directions, why were you waiting at all?? CALL ME, EMAIL ME. There was no good reason not to. Incompetent and unprofessional. A service I booked well in advance just didn't show up. Thanks, guys. Used them for our wedding and they: - Apologized in every email for how long it took to respond (really bad communication overall - just act quicker and apologize less) - Sent the WRONG backdrop/props (with a substitution we did not ask for) because apparently they can't handle their own goods - Lost EVERY SINGLE digital file (and none were sent via text as indicated during the event) because they also can't handle their technology - Sent an employee who had no information about our event even though our coordinator had spoken with this group prior - so they aren't spending their time talking to each other either... - Employee spent most of the event on their phone (hopefully he was using the time to catch up on emails or get the details for his next event?) I hate to say all of this because I'm sure the folks that work there are nice and well intentioned; but honestly there's a difference between making a few mistakes and not being able to run a business properly. Maybe they need to take on less work? Maybe they need to hire more people? I would strongly not recommend Classic Photo Booths unless you're the type that likes to roll the dice when it comes to capturing your memories. read more

The photo booth was such a hit at our wedding! Rates were very reasonable, and they printed out as many strips as requested, which was a selling point for me and why I went with Classic Photo Booths instead of a different service. My guests loved that they didn't have to figure out who got to keep the strip. The minor issues were that on the day of, the b&w option didn't work, and neither did the screen, but it turns out no one cared and everyone still had a good time. My guests loved the photo booth, and the attendant was super nice. My flower girls went into the booth a combined 12 times! The really cool part is that they let us customize the strip. We were able to send them our own text logo for the bottom of the strip, and they let us choose how many photos, and whether we wanted the traditional strip or the horizontal strip. I really liked that they had options, and that they had a gorgeous white photo booth! After the wedding, Jake sent the digital images to me, and a few were missing, but he spent the next two weeks searching for them so I could have them. Another vendor might have just ignored me since the event was done, but I appreciate that he took the time to search for the missing images.
