This company is not what I would call 'customer service oriented'. Their customer service, as described in many other reviews, is EXTREMELY lacking. Nobody answers the phone, and when you leave a message you don't get responses in a timely manner, if at all. Planning meetings with the couple are 'what would you like?' but no specific 'checklist' is provided or discussed. This should be a necessity so things do NOT get missed. How does a couple getting married know what they need?! This is why you hire a 'professional'!! Because they are supposed to know what to provide! When the photographer appeared for the wedding day, it was extremely windy, cold, and rainy off/on. That is not his fault. However, the pictures that were taken were his responsibility and his fault. I interrupted several times to say that someone was looking as if they would fall over, or holding their body/head in an unnatural manner so as to look 'broken'. Hair was blowing and standing up in the wind, and those pictures were not re-taken. So, the 'best' ones were used, if they were presented at all. The photographer did not capture many other moments; specifically the bouquet toss, dollar dance, garter auction, among several others. I agree with other posts regarding the fact that two photographers are in attendance; one of them should be paying attention and keeping a checklist. I do sincerely appreciate that good coverage was taken of the ceremony itself. However, having a photographer walk up to the preacher/couple and take snapshots of them 'up close', walking/standing in front of the groomsmen and bridesmaids, standing next to the parents in the front rows right directly in front of the couple...and all of these issues happened during the ceremony blocking the view of the guests, not just the parents and grandparents! I was stunned that such disrespect occurred during the ceremony. This was not only an interruption and disruption, but a huge distraction, to everyone during a very important occasion. Try explaining that rudeness to guests in attendance when you are already upset by this yourself!! Photos can be obtained in other ways during the ceremony...i.e. a different lens, different locations (NOT right in front of the couple). Another issue is that of the spelling of the bride's name. You would think that would be correct, wouldn't you?! To top it all off, when the photos were provided as 'complete', our daughter was 'satisfied' with about 50%-60% of the photos, the others were 'eh'. As she stated to me, "even though I didn't know what to expect, this is not what I was expecting." Looking at everything as a whole, I am extremely disappointed and disheartened. We paid A LOT of money, and I expected better from a nation-wide 'professional' company. I booked with Classic Photographers about 11 months in advanced before my wedding. They were the only vendor to accommodate all my photography needs that was within my budget (two photographers, 10hr, photo book, engagement shoot, etc for $2300). I selected my first photographer and was told she would contacted me by August, but August came by and I didn't hear anything. I got a bit concerned so I went on their website and started a chat with one of their support team (Danielle) and I waited 5-10 mins and I didn't get any response. At this point I was already very upset so I emailed Classic Photographers. I got an response and Danielle responded apologizing she had forgotten to turn off her chat while she was away. She was really apologetic and offered to help. I explained to her my photographer situation and requested to select a new one because I didn't want to be left with a photographer who didn't know how to communicate with me before the wedding and to think if she would be like that on my wedding day. Although I didn't get my first pick (Manya K), I am glad she didn't respond to me because my second pick photographer, Michelle I was AMAZINGGGGG. A blessing in disguise I suppose. After I made my selection, Danielle quickly informed Michelle and Michelle emailed me right away. I mean, talk about great customer service. Michelle was super excited and that just made me even more excited. She was very communicative and when we met for the first time for our engagement shoot, she made my husband (fiancé at the time) and I very comfortable. She was fun, cheerful, positive! She would follow up with me couple weeks/days before the wedding to make sure she had a game plan. The day of the wedding, she brought along with her our second photographer, Maggie Chiang. Both were awesome! They were already given a list of photograph shots I wanted and they got straight to work. Because it was raining/sprinkling that morning of my wedding while we did a first-look and family photos, we didn't get the luxury of taking our time to take multiple pictures. Despite the weather, Michelle and Maggie were awesome sports and did our shots in the rain (pretty amazing if you think about it). Michelle stuck to my sheet of wanted photos and quickly organized the groups so my family wouldn't have to be stuck in the rain. If there was one thing I can change, it would've been the rain that morning because I felt like my husband and I didn't get to take as many photos. Overall, I loved how my photographs turned out. TLDR: 100% recommend CP; the whole experience was great and the photographers were wonderful, got so many photos and able to share all of them with guests SUPER easily, plus free perks! Also the most bang for my buck. Prepare your shot lists beforehand and be ready to take charge and tell people what to do. I would 100% recommend Classic Photographers to any of my friends and have actually already told several about it. I got a killer deal, way more affordable than the photographer the venue was offering, plus I still got two photographers, a shareable online gallery which ended up with almost 1800 photos, a free 8x8 photo book, and even print credits for reviewing! Scott Lee was my chosen photographer and he was so wonderful. My bridal party and I were a little late getting to the venue, so I didn't get all the shots I wanted, but he did make sure to get what I asked for and definitely let me run the show, which was both good and bad, I think. I should have been more prepared with a list of specific photos I wanted, and I should've done it beforehand and come with it ready to go, (or I should have delegated all of that to my groom!) but I did not. I also didn't go over my worksheet with him or the shots I did know I wanted, so we didn't end up getting some of those, but that's totally my fault for not being prepared and then for being late. The photos we did get were so great! Plenty to use for the photo book and our other wedding album we'll make. Scott was very kind and super funny, all our guests loved him, and he made the experience much better. Ralph was our second shooter and he was equally great! He was also very kind and funny and guests loved joking with him. They both were very creative as well, with a great eye for the light and for shots, put in plenty of ideas when I was struggling (because I didn't have a list!!!). I did end up adding an extra hour to our time so that they'd be there for the entire event, and I feel like that was totally worth it so I didn't have to stress about it. Overall, if I could do it all over again, I would most definitely use Classic Photographers again AND choose Scott again. The only thing I'd do differently is prepare better beforehand and be more assertive in the moment forcing people to take pictures with us! XD We actually also used The Guest photo app for all of our guests' photos, which ended up being a totally necessary addition. This way, we ended up with over 2000 photos, all from different perspectives, and I would do it all over in a heartbeat. Photography was super important for me when planning my wedding. I wanted to make sure we captured every moment because when everything is done most of it is a blur. As the bride or groom you can't be everywhere and you can't pull out your camera mid moment. I had shopped around to other photography companies and had gotten several bids that were VERY out of budget. On a whim, I registered on their site for a contest with the prize being free photography; I didn't win that package but they did give me a promo code that was applicable with one of their site wide package sales. Their payment plan option, in addition to their discount, made it easier for me to finesse my budget to afford their services, it was worth it! Their customer service team is wonderful! Between being able to text them or chat with one of the team members online, they make themselves very accessible to potential clients as well as current customers. Every time I had a question, they answered it promptly and thoroughly. Their site is super user friendly too, you can easily see all of their photographers and their portfolios to help in the selection process. Anthony N and Helen P were charged with taking the photos of my wedding and they came out AMAZING. Helen really went above and beyond with bringing beautiful ideas to the table, working with the theme of our wedding, which was difficult. She never missed a moment, capturing the best candid shots; I don't think I ever saw her camera down. Anthony brought a professional charm, focusing on getting those classic shots that you would want to have for your wedding album. Both styles were GREATLY appreciated! We received our photos 1 week after our wedding even though they ask us to give them 30 Days for return. The preview they sent was wonderful! I was able to get a taste of the shots I should expect, and I loved every single one of them. The fact that we are given digital download rights was AMAZING we have family all over the country so it was great to be able to just download and send photos via email, instead of having to wait for a disk to come in the mail. We used Classic Photographers for our photography and photobooth services. I can honestly say it was one of the best decisions we made regarding our wedding. Robin G. was our photographer and she was nothing short of miraculous. She captured every detail of our day, from preparation photos, pictures of me with my dog, my bouquet and my garter and shoes. At the ceremony she didn't miss a single tear falling from anyone's face without capturing the moment. She captured my aisle runner, my aisle decorations, our priests homily...everything was captured for memories. At the reception she didn't let a single detail go undocumented; from our personalized napkins to our memory table to honor loved ones passed, she photographed everything we did to make our day unique. I love looking through all the photos to re-live the amazing day, and it wouldn't have been possible without Robin. Our photobooth was also an enormous hit! From 140 guests, we got over 100 photostrips! Our attendant was personable and professional, and knew just how to keep things moving to prevent a backup. He remembered to print a copy of all the strips to put in a memory book for us, and reminded each group to write us a note accompanying their picture. This memory book is now a beautiful decoration in our new home, and something we love to look back on. All our guests look like they're having so much fun, and I attribute a lot of that to our amazing vendors from Classic Photographers! Jeremiah and Nadine were amazing when it came to scheduling and booking services for us. They never once pressured us into anything we didn't ask for, and they answered all our questions quickly and professionally. They never made us feel like we were bothering them. Our day would not have been as flawless without them. If you choose Classic Photographers, I promise you will not be disappointed. It's a shame to read all the negative experiences that others have had, because of course no company is perfect. But I had a great experience with CP. Classic photographers was an amazing company to work with if you're on a tight budget as an engaged couple! From the get go, the communication was on point. I always received texts, emails and phone calls regarding everything having to do with my account every step of the way. I began by entering a few contests to see if I can get an even better deal on 8 hours of 2 photographers. I won a contest and was texted about it, and told to use a specific offer code. Then the same day I saw an additional promotion being run about getting a free photo book and 2nd photographer for free if I booked by the end of that month and did a down payment. I instantly called CP, and the rep on the phone was able to combine both my winnings and the promotion I saw online for a new code for me that would give me $200 off, a free book and a free 2nd photographer!!! It was awesome. I paid $1500 for 2 photographers for 8 hours plus a wedding album that I still have to put together. After that, the payment process was easy and affordable. Like paying a bill every month. And if we were a little late, there's no fees or interest or anything. As long as you finish payments 2 months before your big day, you're good. The photographers themselves were amazing as well! So punctual and easy to work with on our wedding day. The main photographer was also very easy to get in touch with throughout the process. Also, once I received my photos I contacted CP to say I feel like there are some photos missing because there are certain shots I know were taken, but were not up on my gallery. I had a rep on the problem, ASAP. And in 3 days I had the remaining photos uploaded. And they look stunning!!! Thank you Classic photographers. read more

We found Classic Photographers at a wedding show and instantly felt connected to the photographers on site, Noel and Melissa. After looking through their books and talking to them about their approach to photography, my daughter insisted we sign them up on the spot! Classic Photographers offered a payment plan, which appealed me and was very easy to use. The engagement photo shoot included in the package went off without a hitch and the pictures were fantastic......it gave us even more confidence in how the wedding would go. We had three venues between the hotel, wedding, and reception sites but Noel and Melissa were game for all of it.....they arrived on time and really captured the entire event without us aware they were doing so. On the one hand, they posed us and offered great ideas....on the other hand, they blended into the background and caught fantastic moments. They were respectful and fun at the same time.....we have a great shot of Noel playfully taking shots of some of the children dancing at the reception. All with huge smiles on their faces and pockets full of any last minute item a bride might need (safety pin, anyone?)! Now that the pictures are ready, I can't say enough how pleased I am at the gallery......the evening goes by so quickly, and the pictures are the only way we have of truly enjoying it all.....Noel and Melissa's professionalism captured every moment expected and unexpected, and we are over the moon to see it all unfold as we look at the gallery again and again and again. The company is excellent at communication, sending emails often to let us know what's happening and keep us on track. I would recommend Classic Photographers to anybody planning a wedding in the New England area! The price is unbeatable and so is the service. From the moment I started looking into Classic Photographers, there was someone readily available to help with any questions throughout the whole process, You can pick your photographer, but I even had the customer representative help me with that choice! I paid everything up front, but there is also different options for payment plans. Jodi was my photographer and she came with her assistant, Annie. A week before the wedding Jodi called me to confirm everything. I am fumbling through this wedding planning process so she went above and beyond her call of photography duty and actually gave me advice on planning, timing, and other things! Once the actual wedding came, the two women could not have been any better. We had a little bit of a health scare with a family member that threw off the wedding party. The women were amazing, professional, and caring. When it came to pictures of the wedding party, everyone in it was very distracted (as Jodi put it nicely - I would say it was more like herding feral cats). She knew exactly what she was doing, was firm, gave direction, but was still lovely and fun to work with. Now the actual pictures. Everyone is BLOWN AWAY. There are so many amazing shots. They got people, places, emotions, and so much more. Jodi, Annie, and the whole Classic Photographers team made it so I will remember the most amazing parts of my wedding forever. Our photographer Amos was exceptional to work with! Amos listened to us after our engagement photos about what we liked and what we didn't and it shows in the photos from the rest of the wedding. The wedding photos are magnificent, Amos really listened to our preferences and got some amazing shots. He also used the surroundings and the natural elements to get beautiful, unique shots that other photographers may not think of. Many guests complimented both Amos and his second photographer, Amanda, on how very professional and friendly they were while not being intrusive or in the way of our guests. Amos and Amanda worked well together and both got great shots, and even got my Mom to smile in pictures! Classic Photographers was very easy to work with, and quick to respond to any inquiries or concerns we had before and after the wedding. Once the photos were edited and uploaded, Classic was very fast in sending the DVD containing the photos immediately. We both feel that we got our money's worth and some truly beautiful photos, we will definitely recommend Classic Photographers and especially Amos to others. We also got a photo booth from Classic Photographers and received the same superb quality of photos and service. The technician, Kara, arrived on time to set up; she introduced herself and kept the props and booth in order and running smoothly all night. WARNING THIS COMPANY IS A HUGE SCAM: We got absolutely scammed by these guys. The way it works is you think you are picking the photographer you want, and then at the last minute they will change the photographer from the one you liked to a TOTALLY INEXPERIENCED IMPOSTER so that they can save money on their end. Look at these photos taken by Yuri for proof. They hired an absolute novice to photograph the bride and bridesmaids and HE COULDNT EVEN GET ONE GOOD PHOTO OF THE DRESS. We were absolutely disgusted with the final album they delivered. About 90% of the photos are not even usable. The way that they switched photographers last minute and then use the "24/7 emergency replacement" part of the agreement is so misleading and deceitful. Look at the terrible way Yuri uses flash and how he DIDNT EVEN EDIT the final pictures. This company takes advantage of people and their lack of experience with photography. Colins photos were so freaking great and we wish we had more from him, but YURI was SUPPOSED to be the main photographer and so what we are left with is mostly Yuris trash photos. My wife and I now have to sift through so much garbage to just get to one good photo. Our wedding day is forever ruined because of what Classic Photographers pulled. BEWARE OF CLASSIC AND YURI. I am doing everything in my power to prevent Yuri from ruining another couples wedding. Believe me I don't usually like to complain but what you see below is only a fraction of the massive amount of crappy photos we have at our feet. read more

I don't know how those other people had such bad experiences. What they are describing is completely inaccurate in my opinion and my experience. Throughout the whole process classic was there and available; their prices are great. The photographers and videographer I worked with spoke to me numerous times on the phone to make sure they were getting exactly what I wanted and they were super flexible on the day of my wedding. Overall, classic was a great company. I dealt with a lot of people thorugh classic with ups and downs. The coordinators (nick- videography, jeremiah/lauren- photography) were fantastic. They made sure everything was taken care of and that we were on the same page. The only down side to selecting classic was that both my videographer and photographer originally selected were fired by the company and I had to pick replacements. Of course I'd rather them be fired than be a no-show at my wedding. In the end the videographer (Kat) was fantastic and had a lot of nice touches she added to make the video great. The photographers (Kassandra and Sarah) were amazing. I gave them a HUGE list of photos we wanted and they crushed it. They knew we would be pressed for time to get all the shots in and directed like champions (16 people total in the wedding party not including myself and Laura). They got all the shots; they were cordial; they were flexible yet able to say no or suggest better options when needed. I couldn't be happier with my wedding pictures. I live in South Florida and my photographers name was Cristina M and she also had a second photographer with her. I found out about this company through wedding wire and the Knot. There website was easy to use and your able to set up a very affordable payment plan. I choose Cristina M because of her profile and pictures she had shown, she contacted me several times to see about specifics and anything I needed . I can't say enough on how amazing these ladies were they completely exceeded my expectations! As a bride the day of the wedding is stressful enough and these ladies made it so much fun and had so many ideas on what photos to take. Both worked together for different angles and not only that they helped me with anything I needed. If I was thirsty they got me water, if someone was missing from the group shot they ran and got them, plus so much more. You can tell Christina had a passion for her work and this wasn't just a job and she made it not stressful but fun and relaxed. I was told I would get my pictures in about a 30 days from my wedding date on 11/10/17 and I received them on 11/22/17 unbelievable how fast they worked. I honestly can't say nothing but good things about how amazing the pictures were, they had clarity, they were clear and simply beautiful! Fantastic experience! The process starts online with a simple inquiry. I happened to win a drawing that allowed me to receive my chosen package at a discount. Yay savings! After choosing my photographer and getting everything situated, I got the call that no bride wants. My wedding was in less than a week and my photographer had hurt her back. Classic Photographers sprung into action and had already found me a replacement. My new photographer called me that day and I am SO THANKFUL that Alvin and his second shooter were the ones that photographed my wedding. These two did everything to ensure that I was happy and that I got several photos. When my photos were released two weeks after getting married, I noticed that some photos were missing. I immediately reached out to Classic Photographers and had someone there to help me. No matter how many times I called or emailed, someone always got back to me within 48 hours answering any and all of my questions. Realizing that there was a problem on their end, Classic Photographers worked to get all of my missing photos located, edited, and uploaded. Even with the issues, I still had the BEST service I could ever imagine and all of my wedding photos in under 30 days! The pictures are amazing, by the way. We were so very impressed with Katie and Katie! We had a destination wedding in Savannah, GA and since we live about 4 hours away we wanted to go with a national company that we didn't have to meet with beforehand and hope that the photos would be great! OH MY GOSH they are AMAZING! Katie 1 reached out as soon as we choose her for our wedding and basically did my timeline for me (thankfully because while I am a planner, I was also clueless with anything wedding related). She had actually shot a wedding at the same venue we were using already which was a huge plus, she knew were things were and the secret ways out and in. They both showed up early and killed it! We had our pictures back in less than 3 weeks and I could not love them anymore. We decided on Savannah because we wanted that look in our pictures (it's also where we fell in love) and the Katie's captured that perfectly. They both made sure to keep us on schedule and got so many pictures that I was worried we wouldn't have as I didn't notice them at all during the ceremony. They definitely went above and beyond and I could not recommend the Katie's and Classic photography enough. My sister was wed two months ago and she (thankfully) used Classic Photographers for the pictures. As a gift, I said that I would pay for her photography for her and her new husband to share the gift of everlasting memory for their wedding. When they decided to get the photos done from inside the place they got their wedding tuxedos I was slightly sceptical at first. The outcome was well past what I thought! They got to meet with their professional photographer and get to know her months before the wedding! The salesman at the store even gave them (technically me) $300 off the photography because they got their tuxedos there as well. I didn't have to pay anything up front besides a $300 deposit and then in payments every month leading up to the ceremony, they even gave her a DVD with all the pictures on it for free! Needless to say, I was very impressed with the professionalism coming from this place of business. Everything was handled very nicely and the staff were very accomodating to pretty much everything we had to ask them. Working with Classic Photographers was so smooth & easy! Whenever I had any questions, it was very quick and easy to get a response from someone as well. I got a great deal on the 8hr photography package with second shooter. I chose Austin Stuart Photography and I could NOT be happier with him! He was so personable, funny, and engaging with me, my family, and our guests. He had a great flow & plan for the day and was able to get through all the typical posed photos quickly but without rushing. He seemed to have a great understanding that, yes, these pictures are super important but there is also a big party going on that's important to enjoy as well! So he had us taken care of and off to the reception in no time. He and his assistant were all over the place capturing every moment of the reception as well. I have only seen a preview of some photos so far but they are absolutely stunning. I am so happy that we took his suggestion to step out of the reception for just a few minutes for sunset photos of just the two of us. He was just so funny and knew exactly how to pose us and loosen us up so that we didn't look ridiculous. I would recommend booking through Classic in a heartbeat! read more
