Olga had several different set ups ready when we arrived and let us prioritize which ones we preferred. She took many photos to ensure she got goods ones and gave us the full hour and half she promised. The only downside was that its a long process. Our photoshoot took place at 10 days after delivery, and we received the CD we ordered with accompanying photos and a canvas when baby was 7 weeks old. As a result, our birth announcement went out when baby was 2 months old. It's a lot of work on her part so I can understand why it takes so long, but you should be aware in case you want to use photos for any particular purpose.

When the next opportunity arrived,I went ahead and booked her. It was a rare moment of being thankful for spam emails. (After not hiring her, i would get emails of mini sessions.) What I've learned after 4 babies, is that a good photographer is worth the price. Moments float by quickly and the next best thing to a time machine is a great photo. In the end, Naz is not expensive. She is upfront with her prices. Other photographers can either be subpar or will up sell you once their session is over. I will tell you that I hate pictures and am very critical in the way I look in them. I was surprised at how great i looked. My oldest has the most unnatural smile, kid #3 thinks he's funny and will do the opposite of what you ask and the baby hates strangers. I thought it was going to be the worse day ever. But on a chilly december day, naz had the best idea to meet at the national gallery of art.easy access to bathrooms and we ate lunch in the cafeteria. She was so great and provided a smooth experience. Driving home my husband obviously forgot who naz was and asked if she was someone I knew from before. She worked with me to narrow down our location and vision (I was scattered and had a lot of conflicting ideas) -- all with patience, calm and a steadiness that made me feel super confident with our final plan. Did I mention, I kept changing my mind on everything...?! Naz is super creative, personable and has a magnetic presence that makes you feel completely at ease. Even my super wiggly, active and spazzy 2-year old (who, at the time, was a late walker and just getting a handle on moving around on his own) sat still for and gravitated toward the camera. We have been fans of Stefanie's work for well over a decade before we finally became clients. When…read moremy husband and I were expecting our first child in 2020 we wanted to do our maternity shoot with Stefanie and I reached out to her to book the session right away. Unfortunately I miscarried and we no longer needed the session. Stefanie was very sympathetic to our tragedy and over the years I would continue to admire her work wishing someday I could be a client. Fast forward to 2022, we were expecting our rainbow baby and I wanted to book a maternity session but due to our past experience I wanted to wait until later to even think of booking. My husband and I decided that we would book a newborn session instead. We kept the pregnancy pretty private so when I reached out to Stefanie during my 2nd trimester which is what she advised on her site so that she could plan and schedule the newborn session according, she was overjoyed with the news of our newborn baby and sent many congratulations our way. Once we had our rainbow baby, I followed up with Stefanie and we set up the session. She gave clear and concise instructions on how to prepare our newborn so that we would have the best session possible. We wanted to include our dog and Stefanie even had tips and tricks to prep our pooch as well. On the day of the shoot everything was set up in the studio so nicely. She even had refreshments and snacks! The ambiance was so warm, so welcoming, calm and relaxed. Our sweet girl slept most of the shoot as anticipated and when she did wake Stefanie was able to soothe her and put her back to sleep so effortlessly. The way that she shaped our baby and put her in positions was so effortlessly - truly a skill and pure art! She even taught us how to properly swaddle so that our bub would sleep well moving forward (THANK YOU! Such a big help during those newborn nights!) She has so many gorgeous fabrics, baskets, bows and other props for the babies. It is every girl mom's dream! The photoshoot experience went beyond my dreams and expectations. Our little love and our puppy did so well. We were able to order our photos and some pieces to display in our home. I am obsessed with the coffee table book and the metal print. We even ordered some of the digital prints so that we can use for cards and other purposes later.
