We love OC Newborns so much that we booked another photo session. We did a Smash Cake session for my daughter's one year and it was so much fun. Ashlynn has so many props and accessories and I didn't have to bring anything to the photo shoot. She answers emails back fast and is very accommodating. Best newborn and baby photographer in Orange County! Ashlynn and Jeff have created a beautiful home studio where nothing short of magic is created at every photoshoot! I wanted newborn photos of my baby girl, but I did not realize there was an "optimal" time to do so and my little angel was outside that window.. I was literally rejected by 3 newborn photographers since my baby was "to old"! I reached out to OC newborn half heartedly, fearful of yet another rejection and ready to give up when Ashlynn agreed to shoot my little angel the next day since she had a cancellation! Ashlynn did an amazing job on our newborn photos. During the photoshoot my husband and I were both very impressed with her from the way she was able to move our baby from one pose to the next, being very gentle and not waking her, to having everything available to get baby back to sleep, i.e.white noise, nice warm room, etc. I even had to nurse my baby for a bit and she made me feel very comfortable. She has so many different outfits, props, bows to choose from which made for such a fun shoot. My 3 yr old son was also there for the shoot and she was very patient with him. AMAZING. Ashley, owner of Ashlynn Marie Photography, is the most gifted newborn photographer ever. After having the disappointment of another photographer flaking out on me the day of my original newborn session, I contacted Ashley on a Wednesday and she was able to get me and my baby in on that Friday! Unbeknownst to me, newborn pics should be taken between days 1-10 of your baby's life. My baby was already 6 weeks at this point (oops) and was not cooperative. She literally alternated between going postal and passing out the whole time. Ashley was so nice, understanding and patient and was able to capture images at just the right moment between the chaos. We have a photographer that we used for most of our life events but she has moved to Florida and so we needed to find a new photographer to take these pictures. My fiance and I absolutely loved shooting with Ashlynn and Jeff! Not only did our engagement photos turn out wonderfully, but we had so much fun taking them. They weren't afraid to go beyond the typical poses and take artistic and interesting shots, which really came out beautifully. We were so afraid that the weather would ruin our shoot -- it was drizzling and got dark really early -- but as long as we were willing to keep shooting they kept coming up with ways to make our shots look great. Ironically, some of our favorite photos came out of the bunch that were after dark simply because Ashlynn and Jeff were able to manipulate the light so beautifully! Also, we were so surprised at how excited they were to work with our theme. A week or so before our session we mentioned that we wanted to go in a 40's/50's direction and they blew us away with how prepared and excited they were for it! Even when my fiance's father offered that we use his classic car for the shoot at the very last minute (literally, halfway through our session!) Ashlynn and Jeff immediately jumped on the opportunity and the shoot was so much better for it.
