As I stated earlier, it's how you treat people when things go less than perfect that matters in life and in business. To understate the significance of having the Rolls Royce die on a four-lane boulevard is akin to a surgeon saying he almost sowed you up or a pilot saying he barely missed the runway. And by the way, Orange Grove Boulevard does not have a turn lane in front of Ambassador as the owner claims. Our photographers who were behind us in another vehicle can demonstrate & attest that we were stranded in the middle of a four-lane boulevard, my wife in her wedding dress as guests were arriving to the valet in front of the Italian villa. Again, mistakes happen, but what was completely unacceptable and unprofessional was the rude & aggressive manner the owner took towards me when we were trying to resolve this. Moreover, to tell our wedding planner (not us) a few months later that he would let us borrow his car is completely unrealistic as the photographer and videographer were not going to provide their services for free, nor the florist, the reception venue, the makeup artist my wife used, etc. Furthermore, the driver of the limo was subcontracted so he was not someone the owner knew or trusted and the last I checked customers should be believed, especially when they have numerous witnesses as to what the limo driver did, among them the priest who married us. Numerous members of the wedding party ended up hitching a ride with other guests because of the limo driver's refusal to leave as instructed. As I stated, Classy Chassis may have beautiful cars, but to have incredibly serious problems with one car and an insubordinate driver in the other is not what any person trying to enjoy their wedding should have to deal with. If only the owner of Classy Chassis would have been courteous and professional, this review would not have been written. Accidents happen, but you don't screw up to this tantamount level only to make the client feel like he is to blame. That is just not classy. read more

The Rolls pulled up to our venue, a Tuscan Barn on a vineyard hillside and parked outside, with a red carpet and all, in it's full glory, about 20 minutes before the last dance. All of our guests were near giddy with how classy and cool it was, and it just made the final part of our day perfect. Our driver took us from the venue down PCH, and then to a beach, where we put our feet in the water as man and wife, before being driven back to our hotel room. Dealing with, who I believe is running the place, Mel, I had a very pleasant experience. He was very nice for the most part until I complained about their driver - Pierre. He insisted Pierre was the top of the line driver and would never do anything to breach a contract.... It's a little offensive to be called a "liar" indirectly that way. Pierre had previous arrangements to be somewhere after my wedding - he had his nephew's graduation to get to. My contract was from 2 pm - 6:30 pm and the driver was out of my sight by 6:15 pm. He was on his way out as soon as my husband and I got out of the car at the reception site. My photographer had to stop him and said we were allowed to take photos by the car, seeing as how we had paid for the time. The whole time we were there, the kept tapping his watch which I think is incredibly rude, it's not like we were going over our contracted time any way. He would not move his car 10 ft into the shade so we could take photos because the sun was too bright. Our wedding was at The Neighborhood Church and the reception was at the Portofino Hotel. When I brought my concerns about Pierre leaving earlier than expected from the reception site, he had this to say to me, "The car was there at the Neighborhood church for at least an hour or more after your ceremony ended, more than ample time to take as many photos as you would have liked with the car, In fact a much nicer background at the church than in the parking lot of the Portofino Banquet Hall for a quick 10 minutes or so of pictures." We discussed this via email which is why I have a direct quote. - I do not need a vendor telling me how or where I should have spent my time taking photos with the car and excusing his driver for leaving early. We also requested a customized "Just Married Sign" which was only on while it was parked at the Neighborhood Church. We have no photos of that sign on the car, or us in the car with that sign. The driver took it off as soon as he started driving. He also handed a tube to my husband with no explanation and after some back and fourth with Mel we were able to figure out what it was. We could have opened it right then and there, but when it's your wedding day, who has the time to open tubes to investigate? And we left for our honeymoon the next morning. It would have been a lot easier if the driver would have just told us what it was. In the end I was refunded for a half hour because of the driver's early departure, but it certainly does not make up for the photo opportunities we missed out on, his driver tapping his watch, or failing to cooperate in moving his car 10 ft while "on the clock." Mel was a very nice man, but I was offended at the thought that he defended his driver and made me feel like a liar. Overall, they were on time, the driver was nice until 6:30 pm started rolling around the corner, we got our sign - be it with no explanation, the sign was on during the ceremony but we never saw it, drove with it on or got to take photos with it. I think all of this could have been avoided with better communication and hiring someone who didn't have somewhere else to be - literally. I've never hired a driver for such a big occasion like this, so I don't know if this behavior is common but I would hope not. read more

If I could give Classy Chassis more stars I would!!! I recently got married on Sept 6 and we used Classy Chassis as our method of transportation (we reserved the 1960 white RR). From the initial meeting the manager has always been on top of it! He responded quickly to my request for a RR for our wedding, met with us within the same week and had our contract ready to go. What really sold us was that he let us see the selection of RR that he had available for the day of AND let us sit in them. After we set up all the details for our big day the manager always responded within a timely manner and answered any questions I had. On the day of our wedding the driver was early, took the quickest route to the church, photos, and reception, and most importantly WAS EXTREMELY NICE!!!! He even helped me with my wedding dress and assisted our photographer with holding my veil out in the wind (haha). To top it off, a few minutes into the reception I realized I was no longer wearing my garter and I had no idea where I lost it! My mother took the time to call Classy Chassis & see if it was left behind, which in fact it was (how that happened I don't know). They went ahead and mailed it back to me free of charge.
