Susie always does a wonderful job with our 100 lb GoldenDoodle. We always ask for her every visit.

What a HORRIBLE PLACE AND EXPERIENCE!!! Made an appointment for my 6 month Havanese becasue she was recently fixed and the pajama gown she had to wear matted her. They told me to drop her off at 9am. I spoke with Susie when I arrived and explained to her what I wanted and showed her a picture. I went back home waiting hours and finally received a text from Susie asking me to send her the picture again, so I did but thinking OMG its 2:30 and she hasn't even started her yet. I should have picked her up right then!! 4:00 o'clock rolled around and was concerned so I went there. I asked her if she was done yet and she said rudely NO! I asked her where my little Stella was and she told me in the back and said I had to leave I could not be there. Right there and then I should have took Stella home. So I decided to run 10 min up the road to Wal-Mart to pick up my moms prescriptions as I parked she called me and said she was done. I thought well she was not done 10 min ago what is going on?? My puppy sat in a crate all day with no water first of all... then she tells me with disgust that It is $70 dollars for my little girl and complained how she was a lot of work over and over. I thought If you had 35 years experience like she said she sure did complain over and over. When I arrived I asked her where she was and she said in the back, when she proceeded to get her and bring her out to me I could see she was stressed out waving her paws and the look in her eyes. Susie would not hand me my dog after asking her twice to give me my puppy I finally had to get loud and tell her to give me my dog. It was crazy. So un- professional and she was so rude. When we arrived home my Stella ran right to her water bowl and gobbled it down, I know she hadn't had water all day! Then she started making this struggling noise coming from her throat. Well Susie had her collar on too tight while grooming her and the vet said it seemed like she was pulling on it. My little girl was in pain and traumatized to say the least. I WOULD NEVER BRING MY PUPPY THERE IF I WERE YOU!! NEVER.. AND I NEVER WRITE REVIEWS. I TOOK VIDEO AND PICTURES OF HER STRESS AND PAIN AND THE BUTCHER JOB AND SO UN EVEN SHE GROOMED HER!! Dan always does a great job. I have taken my dog numerous of time and he seems comfortable every time outside the fact that he does not like getting groomed. Pricing is more than fair. read more

I called to get an appointment to have my 2 dogs grommed the lady said she could get them in at 9am the next morning so the next morning I got my dogs ready and went for the appointment when I got there she said she had put me down for Friday not Thursday but she clearly told me Thursday morning but anyway I was turned away because she made a mistake. It's just bad business to do someone that way, the guy that was there said he would go ahead and groom them but the lady told him no so I will be taking my dogs somewhere else they do bad business. read more

I have since stopped going to this groomer. I've been going there for a couple of years without issue and was happy with the results. However, the last time I had taken my two dogs there, they completely panicked. My older dog, who always listens to me, was unresponsive to my calls when he ran out of my car when we arrived for the appointment. The younger dog was still in the car and started shaking as we approached the groomer. I closed the door to keep the young dog inside and tried to retrieve my older dog. I've never seen my 10 year old dog this disturbed this much ever. He did not listen to any of my commands and would run away from me every time I tried to approach him. Initially, he bolted towards Hancock Bridge Parkway which is a very heavily trafficked street and I thought he might get hit by a car. I was terrified. It took me about 15 minutes to calm him enough to pick him up. I put him in the car and we left the property never to return. I don't know exactly what made my dog act that way but the whole incident made me decide not to go back there again. I've never seen my older dog behave like this and feel strongly there was a connection to something which happened this business. read more

RUN!!! DO NOT.. I repeat.. DO NOT take your animal to this place. I walked in to pick up my two year old yorkiepoo and the groomer was beating my dog.. YES!!! The door was locked to get back where the groomer was or boy she would have seen the rath of my hand beating her. DO NOT take your animal of any kind to this place. The owner said.."Next time your dog will only be seeing me" I said Hell no.. I WILL NOT BE BACK and his doors should be shut down. read more

I too definitely disagree with James. I've been bringing my dog to this groomer for about a year and would never take him anywhere else. I have a big, hyper Labradoodle, and they are amazing with him and give me great tips for his behavior and for grooming. All this at a great price!
