My car was taken over to this shop by Bud Clary Hyundai for warranty paint work. They had it for…read morejust over 2 weeks and when it was returned to me it was damaged, dirty, the back hatch did not open and there was a gray streak through my new paint that could not be rubbed or wipped off. Ohhhh, and a little over $4 in change was missing from my change cubby. I informed the dealership before I took it home and they took a video of the damage. In the mean time my husband called the Bud Clary Paint and Collission Center and was told by Sky to bring it in the next morning. When my husband arrived they looked at my car and the damage and said it was already chipped because rust was present and they had it inside the whole time. They reprogrammed my hatch so it would open and gave my husband some touch up paint to fix the chips. When he came home and informed me of what happened I immediately took my car to another body repair shop. I showed them my chips and did NOT tell them where it had been. I simply said, "I just noticed these chips and had no clue how or when it had happened." He looked at the chips, took pictures and told me they were very recent ,within a couple of weeks recent and most likely from my seatbelt buckle being slammed between the door frame. , . He said you can tell by the edges of the chips, he showed me how my chips have clear crisp edges and if they had been any older the edges would have begun to wear. He said rust would begin immediately because the chip is clear to the metal of the car. I said, even if it was housed inside our shop and he said, "Sure. shops and garages have moisture and humidity in them too. Long story short rt... I KNOW these chips were NOT THERE. I am OCD and washed that car every weekend from the time I had acquired it 3 weeks prior and I wipe the inside of the frames down everytime. The people I got the car from have verified those chipcs were not there also. This shop damaged my car and are now trying to get out of repairing what I one of their employees did. THIS IS NOT OVER! Full time RVer here: Insurance work looks good & coordinated well with carrier. Scheduling got…read morepushed back twice but it was important to me to minimize length. I paid for some extra work I wanted done which I have no problem with but amount was higher than I expected (so get quotes & shop this before hand). I knew what it should cost so I trusted it would be close since they had the insurance job which seemed fat and I didn't screw with any of that. I guess they must get whatever they can to cover their overhead when they can. I get that. I felt uneasy the whole time but overall everything turned out ok. They have a great sub-contractor for fabricating hard to get sheet metal doors. I may be a hard grader but I've had excellent and know what that is. I know terrible too unfortunately. Much better than that here, Kody was above average. I'd use them in that area if you can pin them down on scheduling and pricing of extras better than I did ( so I'm taking some of the blame for the bad taste in my mouth).

A couple of times it was an emergency on my way out of town and they got it covered quickly and correctly so I could go on my way.
