Full time RVer here: Insurance work looks good & coordinated well with carrier. Scheduling got pushed back twice but it was important to me to minimize length. I paid for some extra work I wanted done which I have no problem with but amount was higher than I expected (so get quotes & shop this before hand). I knew what it should cost so I trusted it would be close since they had the insurance job which seemed fat and I didn't screw with any of that. I guess they must get whatever they can to cover their overhead when they can. I get that. I felt uneasy the whole time but overall everything turned out ok. They have a great sub-contractor for fabricating hard to get sheet metal doors. I may be a hard grader but I've had excellent and know what that is. I know terrible too unfortunately. Much better than that here, Kody was above average. I'd use them in that area if you can pin them down on scheduling and pricing of extras better than I did ( so I'm taking some of the blame for the bad taste in my mouth). read more

Wheelers has repaired my 40' Rv for almost 4 years now and would give them 10 if I could!! If the job is big or small they give the same wonderful service to my Rv. A couple of times it was an emergency on my way out of town and they got it covered quickly and correctly so I could go on my way. If they have to keep it for a bigger job it is always ready to go when promised. Kody and the crew at Wheelers RV is first rate in my book!!!! read more

I have to say that my recent experience at Wheeler Repair in Kelso, WA. was absolutely wonderful. When my RV steps quit working, I couldn't find a repair place or mobile mechanic to look at them for several weeks. I was referred to Wheeler Auto Truck and RV Repair in Kelso, which was on my way to my next destination near Portland. They were kind enough to squeeze me in. After the repair, the stairs quit working again, and they had me come in immediately. Looks like this time, they got to the real root of the problem, and didn't charge me for this additional work. All of the people there were super nice and friendly. Customer service is in short supply these day, but these folks know what it is to provide great service to their customers. read more

We were cruising down Interstate 5 in our 38 foot motorhome when suddenly there was no power at all! My wife was driving and fortunately, she was able to coast to the shoulder of the freeway just at the end of an on-ramp in front of Three Rivers Mall in Kelso, WA. After hours of waiting, the tow truck arrived and suggested towing our bad boy motorhome to Wheeler's Auto Truck and RV Repair in Kelso. He said they were really good and even called ahead as it was nearly closing time. Kody Price, the Operations Manager, stayed until we arrived. We explained to him what had happened and what we thought might have caused the failure (a faulty chassis disconnect switch). Kody told us he would have his RV Tech take a look at it and determine if that was the problem. He also said that if it was an easy fix, he thought it would be something he could have done within a day or two. If it was more complicated, he would have to put us on the schedule as they were really backed up with other RVs and Trucks. It was a faulty switch and two days later we continued our journey home! The cost of the repair was hundreds less than what we anticipated. Kody runs a great shop and has a very good RV Tech. Everyone there was very friendly. What was so striking to us was the fact that Kody LISTENED to his customer! I can't remember ever dealing with a repair shop where the customer's suggestion was considered relevant. In the past, service writers would patronize their customer and talk "techno-jibberish" to impress you with how brilliant they are. That does NOT happen at Wheeler's! Stopped in for a problem with the brakes on our camper. This was our third stop whereas nobody else would look at it..but this guy came out with a toolbox crawled up under there and fixed it. Nobody else was interested in taking the 15 minutes to look at it and fix it. I would highly recommend them. read more

From out of town... after reading all good reviews online... Towed vehicle to Wheelers on Dec 14, 2015... Called first... said could work on car immediately. After 3 hours I called them and they said they suspected it was fuel pump. 2 hours later still said didn't know what problem was. Finally after 5 hours working on car, and $500.00 later... found the problem. There was an air leak in fuel line. A plastic T right on top under hood. Don't believe it took 5 hours to fix this simple problem. Out of Towners Beware!!! read more
