So this shop offered to cut the tip and file it smooth. So my nub was neat, although not matching. No other shop even offered to try to give me a work around, patch up job. read more

This place was not good at all. The lady rushed on my feet, did not ask what type of pedicure I wanted, or had prices posted. It was $35 for a regular pedicure which to me was pricey (again before I purchased, I was not told any prices). She rushed , did not scrub my feet with soap and did not use any cuticle softener. she kept saying they were busy however it was only 4 people in the shop. I WILL NOT BE BACK‼‼‼ they also had a person in training and was not training her at all yet letting her do people feet. Im aware people have to learn but at least coach them through the process. It's poor mentorship but the girl did the best she could. this post doesn't even deserve one star! read more

Good nail salon! I have only been to one other nail salon in the city but my first impression of Classy Nails was good. Very friendly people and clean salon. Don't go there if you're in a rush, they take their time and you won't see the results you wish to see if they need to rush. I got a manicure and pedicure and I have nothing bad to say about the service or cleanliness of the salon. I'm just very surprised to pay $50 plus tip for a very standard manicure and pedicure. Do not go to this place!! The service was extremely rushed. I got dip, and I was done in about 15 minutes. They skipped steps too. They were trying to fit in as many people, because they only had 2 workers. My sister in law got a pedicure and she was done in about 20 minutes. She said it was the worst pedicure she's ever had. I went for a gel manicure at Classy Nails a few weeks ago. First I called ahead to make sure I could walk in and to get an idea of the process they use. The person on the phone said I could come in but was very short with her answers so I didn't get much out of her other than they would not use the dremel tool to remove my old gel polish. Well, they first soak my fingers in acetone, as in literally my entire fingers in a dish of acetone. The salon I'm used to going to uses the cotton swabs and wraps your fingers in foil because gel needs heat to activate it to come off. But ok, we'll see how this ends up. So they start taking my polish off WITH THE CUTICLE CLIPPERS, pulling off the polish with it and scraping the surface. Then some nails were particularly tough to get off (surprise, right?) so they used THE DREMEL! I don't know why I didn't do anything, I think I was just too horrified by the whole experience. I also figured I have super strong nails so they could probably survive this experience... Then they were sanded and buffed, which was fine. But before polishing started, instead of having me wash my hands in the sink, they used MORE ACETONE! My fingers were already white from the first acetone bath! They do have an extensive selection of polish and I wanted a specific color so I asked for 2 coats of one polish and 1 of another which they didn't have a problem with and the color came out perfect. They did NOT paint the ends and after all the coats were set they filed the ends again which I was not happy with. Fast forward 3 weeks later. After picking up groceries I noticed half of my pinkie nail was coming off, which I clipped but it was into the nail bed. Surprised they didn't chip much before this (although I usually have gel last for 4-5 weeks if done correctly) but they are almost all peeling off from the bottom of my nail. I end up peeling them off and am horrified at how thin and brittle and damaged my nails are. I thought they would survive this savagery but alas it was too much. Now I am left waiting for them to grow out while they are so brittle I can't even remove those seals that are on new bottles of condiments and such with my nails. Considerate it safe to say I will not be putting my nails through this torture again and I would not recommend this place for gel. read more

Went a few days ago to celebrate my moms birthday. I received a gel manicure ( as did my sister) and my mom got a pedicure. As far as I know, my mom loved her pedicure. My sisters nails were not clean around the edges which was sad for her. However my manicure peeled the first night, and by 4 days later, 4+ nails had large chips/peels. Very unfortunate. I don't work with my hands, no chemicals or harsh contact and I have received many before. Not sure what the problem was. read more

BEST pedicure experience I've had in Shreveport! Why did it take me so long to find this place?? My friend and I made a pedicure appointment for 4pm. They took us on time and they GAVE US COMPLIMENTARY WINE! We had our feet done by Eric and Roger who were both super friendly. To start, you don't ever have to worry about your tub being dirty because they always put a thing that looks like a large shower cap where your feet go then they run the water. When they're done they just throw it out! The pedicure itself was excellent. At first I thought $35 was a little high but they use quality products and take their time massaging your legs and feet. It was a great experience. Definitely not a hit it and quit it place. (Been to many of those shops where you're done in like 15 minutes) My feet felt great and service was amazing. Received service from Ben although I usually only allow women techs. He was dismissive when I brought up specific concerns. (cut caused on heel, inconsistency in acrylic) Aggressive upselling for gel and solar. Higher than average prices, which in itself is not a problem, but the level of service does NOT justify the prices. I paid $70 for full set and basic pedi. Also tech kept making reference to him making me "sexy" which I found unprofessional. Clean facilities. No 3-D nail designs. No refreshments offered. Razor used on hee/sole which I don't like. I will not return because the level of service provided can be found everywhere in Shreveport for cheaper. read more

I am still waiting for my eyebrows to grow back after the lady waxed my whole inner right brow off. I did a survey but noticed today it was gone. This was my very first and last visit at this place. I was and still am very disappointed with the service provided. Especially, since I asked specifically for her not to do this. Upon coming in they were playing cards and acted as they didn't want my business. Yes, I should have left at that time but stayed and tried to find the room I was told to wait in as if I was a regular customer. I am all but satisfied with my eyebrows as of today. I have never painted in an inner brow and at the age of 50 did not plan to learn. This place is a big NO for gel polish. Shoulda thought twice when I walked in asking to have my gel removed and several of the staff stopped to look at me and one asked w incredulity, "you have GEL?" After roughing up the polish, a gentleman had me soak my fingers in a bowl of acetone (instead of individual acetone soaked cotton wrapped in foil), so of course the gel didn't come off as well. Then he pulls out the Dremel to remove the remaining polish... Yes, the Dremel for gel on natural nails! I asked him to use the handheld gel removal tool and he simply asked if I preferred it. I said "yes", and he replies w/ a "ok". By the time we were done with the Dremel/acetone soak process repeated multiple times my fingers were in so much pain that I couldn't even scrub my scalp when I washed my hair for the next week & a half. Even now, 3 weeks later, my nails remain thin and breaking constantly. I will never ever subject my poor fingers to that pain again. The experience was not bad, I usually go to Hollywood nails in Pierremont mall, but after looking at these reviews I decided to try this place. They DO NOT put bags in the pedi-sinks, nor do they use clean equipment. I am 9 months pregnant and when I walked out to my vehicle with my sister I wanted to cry. The heals of my feet were looked dirty and was like it had not been touched, my toes also were still as bad as they started. The previous purple nail color was very apparent through the new polish outlining the cuticle, looking dirty and unprofessional. I was in Shreveport today for work and was in desperate need of a pedi. This place was one of the best I have ever been too. I didn't have to wait long even though they were busy. Other places seem to cut your service short when they are busy too; not this place! He took his time and did a great job. Looking around I noticed all of the employees are super nice & speak clear English. Also, they use a protective lining in each tub to insure cleanliness!
