Their Happy Hour menu offered several tempting options, and we sampled a variety of dishes. We started with the Crispy Thai Shrimp, which delivered the perfect balance of sweetness and heat. Kitchen Social is known for its artisan dough pizzas, so we ordered the mushroom pizza, and it certainly did not disappoint. We also tried the Korean BBQ Cauliflower and the Shrimp & Grits...both flavorful and well executed. Since it was Happy Hour, we naturally enjoyed a few cocktails to accompany the meal. We sampled both the Maple Old Fashioned and the traditional Old Fashioned, then ventured a bit further with the Tequila Thyme and the Sangria. Each cocktail was well crafted and enjoyable in its own right. Best of all, because it was Happy Hour, the experience was easy on the wallet. Great food, excellent service, enjoyable drinks, and a welcoming atmosphere make Kitchen Social a place I'll definitely be returning to.

It was not bad (I'm trying to be kind); it was just uninspired, limited, and not really well prepared. Because they do not offer bread for the table our only option was to order the "Soft Pretzel". It arrived badly overcooked, crunchy not soft, and even boardering on burnt. The charcuterie board was OK, but uninspired. I ordered the "Lemon Chicken" which was a full half chicken in a reasonably good sauce. But the meat was dry and it came only with brussel sprouts (yuk!). My wife had the "Walleye" which she simply said was "okay"... oh well. Our guests weren't any more impressed than we were. I will say our coffee and "Pot de Creme" were very good... thank goodness. Our server was very friendly and stopped by just the right amount of times. The coffee was very good and I like that they drop off a pot on the table and a bottle of water. Our orders came out quickly despite the Sunday lunch crowd. I had the veggie sandwich with a side salad. All were tasty and fresh, and the salad was well dressed. A aloud spot for breakfast or lunch.

Obsessed with their hash browns- I always ask for well done hash browns and they legit make them crispy (unlike numerous other restaurants) plus they have great flavor. Give the sausage patties a whirl too- my favorite patties by far (and we've been to numerous restaurants for breakfast). Quick to get you your coffee and even when there's been a wait, they get customers in and out quickly. Not to mention, they somehow remember my husband and I every time we stop and we've only been there about half a dozen times.

I haven't been to Luna's and maybe 15 years. air-conditioning isn't working. the wall vent that I can see very dirty. It's not decorated attractively ---all the flowers in pots are plastic. I see that there is maybe a second room off to the left, but I can't really tell. no idea why they need a second room it's after high noon and there's still nobody here. the booth upholstery needs repair and the chairs are in serious need of paint. Not much effort being put in to making this place something to look at --you know aesthetically pleasing ---I remember why I stopped going to Luna's in Cleveland. Server came over and asked me if I saw the specials and I said yeah. I would like a Diet Coke no ice and I picked the stuffed pepper special. she came back and said it's stuffed cabbage and I said no --so she wrote stuffed pepper w/mashed potatoes which I replaced with a baked potato so I could take it home and a bowl of wedding soup. The table of five seated before me just getting their food so we'll see how long the special which should already be 'ready' takes to get from the kitchen 20 feet away. So it took 20 minutes to get my plate of food. I cut into the biggest pepper I've ever seen in half to reveal about 95% rice and hardly any ground meat and there's a pile of army green broccoli that's way overcooked and most of the pieces look like they put them on the grill to heat them up. the baked potato was huge and cooked decently but potato flavor is lacking. See pictures attached. The one is when I first cut the pepper in half and the other one is what I left!!!!!! I'm getting ready to leave and am told I get a dessert of Jell-O or rice pudding; chose the latter. The soup and the rice pudding were the highlights of this meal. Server wanted to know if I wanted to pack up the rest to take home since there was so much on my plate. I only really ate the green pepper, all else was flavorless, and for all of this --the cost was $17. I tipped her well and still gave them two stars. Try it and see what YOU THINK.

The decor is very bland, but who really cares as long as it's clean and the food is good, right? It's the type of restaurant where you seat yourself, and there are a lot of regulars. At first, our waitress seemed somewhat rude (looking around when taking our drink order/not being friendly when announcing specials,) but she seemed to warm up once she realized we were polite and only there to enjoy a good lunch before going bicycling. I ordered the cheese omlette with hash browns and wheat toast. My boyfriend ordered the pierogies, which came with a salad (lettuce, dressing and tomatos,) roll and free dessert (strawberry cheesecake.) The roll and salad were brought out very quickly, and both were good. After about 10 minutes our food arrived, and it was delicious. The omlette was huge, with a ton of cheese. The hash browns were delicious and plentiful. I sneaked a piece of my boyfriend's lunch and it was delicious as well. The pierogies were filled with potato, and had a ton of sauteed onions covering them. They *were* a bit greasy, but still very yummy. The cheesecake was delicious as well, and I'd swear it was homemade. The best part, though, was the bill. Lunch for both of us, including two sodas, was $13. We both started laughing when we saw how inexpensive the food was! Even with a $6 tip, we were full of yummy food for less than $20. The only downsides are the hours (they close at 4PM) and parking would probably be difficult during busy times (we walked over so it wasn't an issue.) Overall, though, this place is great!

I'm not a fan of surprises and i don't like to feel taken advantage of or mad a fool! Simple solution is to just update online menu.
