So happy we stopped at Quinn's Kitchen and Bar in Bay Village today. This is a place that flew under our radar until tonight. It's been a round since 2023. How did we miss this place? We had seen some instagram post about peanut butter dessert and thought we should stop. This old Lawson's building has been converted into an intimate, beautiful and inviting restaurant. The menu is one of those menu's where you want to try 3 or 4 things and feel bad you can only try one of two. So we will definitely come back. Service from Britt was spot on and we visited with the GM Patrick. The food. We tried the smash burger. Large double burger( I would characterize as a double cheese burger as the patties where not smashed), amazing taste and cooked perfectly. As a side I got the cherry goat cheese salad as a side. Not one thing bad about this salad. Perfect. We tried the blackened Chicken on a cheesy risotto. Wow. Licked the plate. We ordered the blood orange sorbet and was surprised with a small portion of the Peanut Butter Bomb. Holy Cats. The Peanit Butter Bomb may be the best dessert ever. We will be going back soon. It was our first time here and we were VERY impressed! We made a reservation easily online for Saturday night. The place filled up fast ! The vibe is cozy inside! Although the animal pictures on the wall creeped me out hahah. Our waitress was super sweet and attentive. They had a great selection of drinks ! And they have a happy out, even on Saturdays, for apps and drinks ! They have plenty of gluten free and vegetarian options. We got the pretzel and omg it was so good! And the honey mustard was DELICIOUS !!!! My husband liked his burger. Likened it to a fancy Big Mac hahah but in the best way! Great food, great service in an amazing atmosphere! My husband and I were only in town for the weekend and happened to find Quinn's when looking for a place for dinner that wasn't too expensive but still had great food reviews. Normally, I like to post photos but we ate everything too fast. The BBQ shrimp risotto was incredible! And my husband had the pan seared salmon. Outstanding food and service. The bartender, Nick, created the BEST summer drink - the Watermelon Crusher. Refreshing and the perfect blend - not too sweet or syrupy. Light and tasty. It was delicious! He also makes a great chocolate martini!! The service was perfect - and I don't say that lightly. Joslyn was wonderful. She knew the menu and made great recommendations. Otherwise reservations were all booked on this rainy fri night. What a nice night out. I had been for the brunch before and was talking to the owner about going to Hawaii. He had spent some time there. The bay breakfast earlier in the summer was good as I remember. Tonight at the bar I had the crispy shrimp, nice shrimp handcrafted fried with fresh cut fries. Not expensive. Great dip and coleslaw. First rate. Couple miller lites & old forester 1920 on the rock. Classy place they clearly know what they are doing & a crowd of pleasant regulars. Couple next to me also had been to Maui. Upper class. Very nice night out I felt like I was on vacation. One of the best happy hours that exists! Every specialty cocktail is $7 (maybe $8 can't remember) which is a fantastic deal! Pretzel board is a MUST! It comes like a braided bread and it has squishy bouncy texture, so delicious. One of the best I've had. Burrata has a great salty flavor which matches perfectly with the asparagus pesto. I do wish there were more than 2 pieces of bread especially if bigger groups get the burrata to share. Risotto and Parmesan is a match made in heaven but it did come out a little under. We ordered a couple different items and shared. Not one thing we ordered was disappointing! The Brussel sprouts were superb, the pretzels were very unique and delicious (as was the mustard sauce that came with them), the veggie risottos was fabulous and the perfect amount when split. We also ordered truffle fries to try, which were very good, but probably the least favorite thing of the night. Still, the idea of neighbor night is awesome, we thought happy hour was a great deal, and there were several things on the menu we wished we'd had enough room to try. All the drinks had good garnishes and were unique. The sea fam margarita was really unique and tasty. Hummus was fresh with fried pita. Potato croquettes were flavorful. For the main course I had the lemon chicken with linguine. I could tell there were balanced flavors. We also tried the fish and chips which were hot and fresh. Had to come try out the new spot in Bay Village! Love that they take reservations online. I ended up sitting at the bar on St. Patrick's Day & the crowd really picked up! Had a few cocktails & ended up sharing the corned beef dinner - the potato pancakes were to die for.
