I celebrated my daughter's 10th birthday party here, and unfortunately, the experience was…read moreextremely disappointing. She chose the clay art activity with a "Sea Friends" theme because it sounded creative and exciting for the kids, but the actual experience did not meet expectations at all. There were only three very simple animal designs offered, which was far too limited for a two-hour birthday party and not engaging enough to keep the children interested. The employees assisting with the activity did not appear to be properly trained to host or manage a children's party. Their instructions were unclear, they spoke very softly, and there was little enthusiasm or interaction with the kids. The atmosphere felt dull and unorganized instead of fun and energetic like a birthday celebration should be. Many of the children lost interest quickly because there was no excitement, guidance, or effort to keep them engaged. What was most disappointing was that, despite booking a two-hour party, the actual clay activity lasted only around 40 minutes. After that, there was very little for the kids to do, leaving them bored and restless for most of the remaining time. As a parent spending money to create a memorable milestone birthday for my daughter, I expected a much better-planned and professionally hosted experience. I chose this place hoping it would create happy memories for my daughter and her friends, but instead it turned into a frustrating and disappointing experience for both the kids and the parents attending the party.

Before I started this review, my son said "How many stars should we give art camp?" and when I…read moreasked how many he wanted to give, he emphatically said "5 Stars!" LOL the child has spoken! 5 stars it is! There are so many camps to chose from in the East Bay but what we have been loving about Aran's Art Camp is the intimate group size: there's no more than 10 kids per art camp and we've lucked out with an even smaller group during our time here. The camp is taught by a mix of Aran herself and her staff and they've been nothing but wonderful. My kiddo comes home from art camp every day bursting at the seams about everything he's worked on and learned (giving me safety tips about glass fusing and teaching me what a pinch pot is!) and he looks forward to going back each day. Each week is a different theme so if you wanted to sign up for multiple sessions, your child will definitely be working on something different each time. While the hours are 10-2, they offer before and after care for an additional fee which basically turns this into an all day camp if you were to maximize on the 9-3 aspect of it. There's a lot of half day camps out there so if you use their before and after camp, you get a good chunk of the day covered! Lastly, they go to the park every day after lunch to let them move around and get some sunshine and Fridays is pizza day! My kid said he would love to come back to art camp again next summer.

It's pretty quiet in here compared to other places which I love! Parking is super easy since it's in a plaza, the people that work at this studio are super friendly and nice, and they offer so many other activities - I saw a kids painting night happening before, they have glass fusing, etc. They also have an area in the back where it looks like they do most of the classes so the pottery painting is almost always available!!

No time limit and I like the tray they give. Easy to turn and paint. I also like the squeeze paint bottles that's helpful when doing fine lines. There are plenty of supplies: consisting of sponges, brushes, water cups, pencils and erasers. I brought my friend here for her birthday and we just spent 3 hours painting, listening to music and chatting. We visited on a Sunday and it was quiet/peaceful, not too crowded. Definitely will visit this place again in the future to paint more pottery.

I honestly cannot believe I had never heard of this place before, especially living here in Fremont. The studio is adorable, clean, and very well set up for kids' activities and parties. They offer a lot of fun options, and for our party we chose pottery and slime, which was a huge hit. The full 3 hours went incredibly smoothly. We had a private room for the kids to do their activities, enjoy pizza, and have cake, and everything felt easy and well organized from start to finish. The staff was wonderful and made the whole experience feel seamless. We will definitely be back with our kids.

The process is fairly simple, you go in and pick your ceramic pieces to paint. Each ceramic piece has a different cost, and then there is a fee charged on top of that per painter. You get unlimited paints and tools to use, as well as unlimited time for painting. When you are done, you leave it with the front desk to fire up and pick up the finished result several days later. Would totally come here again for date night, girls night, or just a family activity. It is very group friendly. You can also come here solo if you've got some down time.

The area itself is super cute and cozy, with seating by the windows as well as large tables for bigger parties. We were able to pick up our pieces about 5 days later? And the staff were super nice and helpful then as well! I'm in love with how the finished pieces turned out after firing. Overall, it was such a pleasant experience, they had some music playing and everything was neat and organized. We had a great time and I would definitely recommend stopping by if you're ever looking for something creative to do!

There were some nice beads, chains, charms, yarn, and paint. I just thought some of the shelves were either bare or the merchandise wasn't untouched / new - where some of the packaging looked tampered with. I checked to make sure the number of colored pencils in my box was the correct amount. I liked some of the flowers, but recalled seeing a much larger variety at another location a long time ago. I couldn't tell if the store was remodeling as some of the floors looked damaged or old down some aisles you'd walk down. I found some nice party / entertaining decorations - different sized disco balls and sequined tablecloths that you could honestly also use as a backdrop for a photo booth or display. The employee at the register was kind and helped me create my Michael's account at what I consider the new self-checkout stands (it's been that long since I've been to a Michael's) - I felt like the screens were nice and big so it was easy to view and process. I hope they continue to receive more inventory to fill the shelves.

Dexter had already left for the day BUT Amanda & Sell were awesome. I had to wait awhile but that's OK because I would rather have Amanda not rush & do the beautiful job that she did. I have had many pictures framed & matted at Michael's in Dublin. If a manager sees my Yelp, please tell Amanda, Dexter & Sell how important their jobs are & thank them. They are an asset to the Dublin Michaels. They help me pick out the correct complimentary colors for the Art. They make people happy. They are so friendly & personable & even though they had quite a few customers, they never seemed to get rattled. They make each customer feel like they are the only one & their order is the most important.
