Came here kinda close to closing on a Monday night trying something fun and new. The staff person greeted us and asked if we had been there before which we told her no - she explained the process and told us we could pick our item and she would help set up. it took her a minute to help us get "set up" but really it was just her explaining how the glazing worked and where the paint and supplies were. I picked an item that was around 20 bucks and it was actually pretty fun. The paint they use dries fast so its easy to use multiple coats. I was able of finish a small project in 20 minutes or so. The staff stayed a bit late to help us finish and we didn't feel rushed. We were able to bring home the second not yet finished item for next time. There is a nomimal fee if you dont finish and need to come back later. Otherwise they fire up your project and you caome back in a week to retrieve it. Looking around I kept thinking how cute it would be to bring my kids or girl friends back here and would love to work on another project. The prices for the actual items were a better price than I anticipated as well! read more

Wonderful experience at this location. All the staff were friendly, patient and helpful. We came in from out of town and wanted to make a gift for Father's Day on a last minute whim. Fortunately, there were still plenty of diff items to choose from. They even offered to rush priority the firing/glaze to make sure we would be able to have it in time before we left. This location of color me mine is truly wonderful, I used to go to the Pleasanton one but not anymore, the overall quality of this location is so much nicer. They also provide a large amount of more tools like to do details and the paint brushes are way more variety and cleaner. Staff is so nice and helpful and I never had to ask for anything, everything was super clean and I went on a weekday and it was nice and peaceful and I would definitely come here all the times I want to paint from now on. We had a wonderful experience at Color Me Mine last Saturday, June 6th,2026. My son had a great time painting with the friends that showed up to his birthday party. He loved we got to pick which pottery his friends could choose from to stay within our budget and all kids had smiles. They even got a tour of the kiln room to see how the pottery goes in to be fired and the steps they take. It was such a good experience that I would recommend to anyone. Our group had 7 year olds and unless you have kids that are super into art like our group is, its a great age. However, you may want to bring birthday games as we had some time that needed something more. Older kiddos may take a lot of time to paint. read more

I have been to multiple Color Me Mine locations throughout CA, Petroglyphs, and other out of state pottery locations like As You Wish. This is the only location I have been to where they only have 1 wall of paint that you have to leave the paint bottles there and get up each time to get more paint. It's an inconvenience when you have a bigger piece and using a lot of 1 color so you have to keep getting up. They don't keep their art techniques displayed so you can see how they come out like carving, stencil, lace, bubbles, puff paint, writers, screen printing...so if you are new or just need some extra inspiration for your piece then this place isn't for you. They said they don't like to have much out due to kids. They also said I can go on the website to check out techniques or look at the tv. I asked for bubbles for my piece and I had 3 employees walk over to me with the cup, I was a little confused on that part. I personally will drive further to go to paint where I feel comfortable and not feel like I have to constantly wait or ask for help when it comes to things I may want to use or check out to see if I want to use it. read more

This place is a racket. We organized a party for 12 people here. They said they had a room for 12 people, it turned out to be a hallway with a *tiny* shelf for our food and cake. Our questions about a trash can, a card table, a place to put our ice cream for the cake, all answered with nos. We can't help with that. SUPER surprised at this considering they have a party room for up to 30 people (and no spare table or fridge???) They have the painting part dialed in, staff were helpful though 2 hours is not enough time and we all felt hurried along out of our hallway space. The worst part is how expensive the ceramics are. You guys, IT IS NOT WORTH IT. Thus is a chain that buys these cheap things in bulk and then the markup is insane. Take your money elsewhere, ideally a small business. Took my daughter there for her birthday (adult daughter). The service was pretty bad no instructions no help until we asked what the process was. When we were done I asked how to pay and give them our stuff they acted like I was an idiot. I haven't been there before and just didn't know the process. After terrible service they wanted a tip. Not sure what the tip would be for as we couldn't even get basic information on any of this. Next was to pick up our stuff where they were actually rude. Asked for my last name twice and finally sighed and asked my phone number. I would understand if it was a hard name but it wasn't. Very expensive $192 in total to be treated as though we were not worth their time. So since we were treated to not be worth their time we will spend our time elsewhere in the future read more

Love color me mine! My son and I have been there many times since he was little! We've made Christmas gifts and ornaments; Mother's Day and father day gifts; and birthday gifts. Anytime I ask for a gift made by my kid, it comes from color me mine. We love painting together and then seeing the finished product, a few days later. My children gave me a date with my 3 granddaughters for my birthday this year. The oldest is 4 1/2 and the other two are 2 1/2. I arrived 30 minutes early which was a good thing as they were crowded and taking names. Because of their impending renovation the ceramic selection was very limited. They have 60 paint colors available. They have lots of stamps, stencils and sponges to use. Though the seem to have lots of brushes the selection we had were worn and not the best. Don't waste your time or money on this location. The store team's communication is absolutely awful. I had reservations for their valentines day event, to which we still had to put our name and number down for a 2 hour wait list. Color me mine never called me. I called them at 6:45pm to ask why I was never called. Their response was an "it was an oversight and accidentally didn't call me". To rectify this one of the employees named Cameron emailed me with 2 free studio passes so I could come back at a later time and date due to the fact that despite me "booking the tickets" for the valentines day event AND putting my name and number down to be called, I was never contacted. I go in today to redeem the passes and make some pottery, the manager and employee tell me the passes expired. No where on Camerons email did he mention the passes expire nor over the phone on valentines day when telling me he was going to email the free studio passes. Today when I was telling the employees that the email didn't include the passes expiration date, they didn't care. They didn't offer any sympathy, understanding or at the least anything for a discounted rate. They simply stated the passes expired and that was it. I've now wasted my time, my gas money on 2 occasions driving to this location just to be let down and disappointed by their horrid communication. Dont bother going here or spending your time and money here. read more
