With his help and my research, we decided on Behr Premium Semi-Transparent Waterproofing Stain and Sealer (It is supposed to last 6 years on horizontal surfaces. Hope it will.) Peter did an unbelievable job prepping the deck by pressure washing. We had a lot of mildew in the shaded areas and he took great care to get it all before sealing the deck. Our HVAC guy came that afternoon and thought we had a new deck. Peter's crew did a great job of the deck, the railings, and the support edges for the deck. Everything is smooth and the deck looks brand new. We have 8X10 rough cut lumber from an old cotton warehouse in Huntsville that is 150 Years old that we used 50 years ago when we built the house for beams and support on our front porch. The lumber really needed lots of TLC and it was lovingly provided to keep this piece of history alive for us.

We lucked out soon after the move and saw an ad that Roy placed in a local paper, and he has been helping us ever since. He is absolutely, rock-solid dependable, first of all. He shows up when he says he will. With every project that we have asked him to do, he has come through 100%. He has helped us with multiple projects including: - Carpentry (including pocket door) - Installations (mailbox post, stair rails, etc.) - Plumbing (shower, faucets - two bathrooms) - Pressure-washing - Gutter cleaning/repair - Landscaping - Electrical (ceiling fans, ceiling lights, rewire/install curio cabinet lighting) - Even picture-hanging (meticulously with a level!) There have also been times when we needed something and *thought* we knew what we needed, but he offered options and suggestions that were a significant improvement to what we were thinking. He explains what would work better and why it would. He explains costs and his rates clearly, which are always fair and within our budget. This gentleman has common sense (which is not always a given these days) that is enhanced by his experience, accumulated knowledge, honesty, and integrity that we have seen time and time again. All they had to do is give me a call or message to let me know if they couldn't make it but I guess my business wasn't that important to them. So no, I don't recommend them.

When we first bought our house, we had terrible contractor after another. I finally found these guys and not only have they provided amazing service, they've pointed out major things wrong with the previous contractors work and helped us get it fixed very quickly. They stay on top of letting me know when they'll be by to start and finish up the work and I don't have to worry about them not responding or not finishing the job. This has cost us tens of thousands of dollars to repair. He has consistently, for a year, assured us that he will make it right and cover our costs. We have discovered that instead he has repeatedly lied about solutions that were "coming soon". He may be ok painting walls, but do not trust for anything more significant.
