I had already found a good stack of comics so I wasn't just passing time with no intention of buying some. The owner eventually couldn't handle this and told me "Just take the comic out and set it to the side. I'll put it back." These were not high dollar comics, might I add. Some of them weren't even bagged, let alone boarded. I ended up putting down my stack of comics I had planned on purchasing and walked out the door. I will never return to this store for the rest of my life.

Great deals can be found and fair pricing for those hard to find items. We were approached by multiple employees and asked if we needed help. We were on a mission to find Inside Out characters for my 8 year old son and they not only found the spot they were in but also hunted around to find the items he asked for. They gave us tips to find things in other areas of the store as people tend to hide things they want and they let us know where to look for those gems! This is the first and usually last place I have to go to find what I am looking for as they have what I need. There are so many props and fun things to look at as you wander the huge selection. My son was enthralled!

I haven't actually been here since my boyfriend and I broke up; however, I was in the area at beauty master and I decided to stop and see what they had and I'm so happy I stopped. I spoke to Gabe at the counter when he rang me up all the opened Funko's or four dollars so I snagged Mr. Oogie boogie. I will be cleaning him up and dusting him off and then I will be bedazzling him. Most of the comics I got besides from the two dollar comic were $.50 apiece and then he also bagged them up and put a paper backs in them as well for me. They sell them for I think $.15 apiece for the bags in the bags; they also own the store next-door, which is called last pack magic it is a trading card game store. If you are ever in the area, Mike's comics and collectibles has a wonderful selection of $.50 comics as well as comics that come out now I highly recommend stopping here. If you're going to have back issues or comics at all I behoove stores to have them bagged and boarded nice as it makes me as a customer more likely to buy. I have been inside this shop a number of times and always find what I am looking for and more. The owner is helpful, engaging and will help you search for what you are looking for. Prices are fair and the atmosphere is low key. But when you have a chill location like this, understand you have to be flexible. I have been by a few times when they were closed during hours they were supposed to open and have looked for tho ha I was sure they had, but did not. The…read morestore has a large gaming area, had a broad selection of freebies for Free RPG Day, and Ray was a great GM. My prior experience with Daggerheart was a learn to play session at a convention, and the system did not really grab me, but Ray explained the system well and got everyone into the shared story telling aspect of the game, which is its real strength. Ultimately, Ray ran an amazing session and I left with an appreciation for Daggerheart as a system. The store itself was spacious, clean, and had a large offering of comics, figures, and TTRPG games and accessories. They also have a Warhammer 40K room that has an impressive array of Games Workshop products. The RPG section was smaller, but they had a good variety of RPGs and accessories. I definitely will be back for in-store games and any time I am looking for comics, figures, etc.

Owner Jack Tolzmann has made it fully a comic book store now, devoting space that used to be shelves of used books to more graphic novels and collectibles. There's a selection of kid-friendly comic books at the back right corner and teen graphic novels to your right when you enter. New releases go up on the wall every Wednesday. This store has been helping Saint Augustine geek out since 1986.
