Carl called ahead, arrived on time, and was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. The biggest surprise? He told me my roof is actually in fantastic condition and does not need to be replaced right now. That level of honesty is hard to find and immediately earned my trust. He also took the time to help me figure out a strange noise in my attic, which turned out to be something completely unrelated to the roof. What really impressed me was that as he was leaving, I asked about another property I own in Finksburg that's currently on the market. Carl went straight there, inspected that roof as well, and followed up with a call and text to walk me through his findings. Once again, I got honest advice instead of a sales pitch. AND he literally sent me the report THAT NIGHT --- when things are crazy fast and moving in a sale, there is nothing more appreacited. A…read morecontractor they recommended did the soaking tub demolition, addition of a half-wall, and then installation of no-step walk-in doorless tile shower and new bathroom floor. James understood my priorities and limited budget, we settled on a few color combinations and design elements, then I took home sample tiles to see how they looked in the sunlit room throughout the day. After a month to let the decisions settle, the contractor was setup and the materials ordered. Very important: the contractor worked directly with Mid-Atlantic, I never had to be in the middle to relay installation assistance or anything ever (including ordering a few extra tiles when we had to add a seat to the design after finding in demolition that under the tub the stairway ceiling encroached into the bathroom floor space.) All materials were politely delivered on time, James was always available for my appointments, he worked seamlessly through the COVID shutdown, and they even accepted returns of a few unused pieces to get them out of my garage. Highly recommend, there were way too many choices and gotchas to approach the design on my own. Working with a professional was the way for me. Recommended!

We were discussing our thoughts before going in and were parked in a spot designated for this store. An employee of the store rudely told us to move because it was for his store. He had an oversized red truck that he was unable to park and probably shouldn't have if he can't park it. We moved to another spot but then decided if patrons could not park in a spot designated for the store they are going to and are so rudely addressed it's not worth our time and money. Good job on losing a sale.

This company delivers! We had our early 2000's builder's grade master bath remodeled and it is now…read moremodern and beautiful. When we moved in our lovely new home in 2003, I was particularly fond of the massive soaking tub. But as time wore on and trends changed, it wasn't as en Vogue. And as much as I love a good soak, it took way too much water to fill. What I never loved was the base quality shower "box" with the cheap sliding doors. I so wanted to bring my bathroom into the current era. Last fall (2019), we decided it was time...and that we deserved it. Metropolitan Bath and Tile was great from the in-home measurement (great guy) to the selection of custom cabinetry, sink, tub, tile, and fixtures with help from Wendy and Alex. Our installation team was professional, respectful, and made sure to ask for input and explain as they went along. When I recall their names, I'll add them. They did excellent work and deserve to me mentioned! Our only snag was the new soaking tub was back ordered from the manufacturer. The install team apologized and tried to keep us abreast of the ETA as best they could. It turned out to be longer than we wanted, a few weeks of not using our bathroom while waiting. But when it was placed in and the flooring finished, it was perfect. With a little interior decorating by yours truly bathroom looks like it belongs in a destination spa. Their work isn't inexpensive, but you pay for quality and peace of mind. Sorry it's taken so long to post a review. Thank you to the folks at Metropolitan...and as their ad states bathrooms --it's what they do, it's all they do!

My wife insisted on this company. I was against it because of the outrageous cost to just do a 32"…read moreshower stall. $12,000+. Ridiculous, and we had the tile. This will probably bother me the rest of my life. The job was done well but there are so many other companies that could have done the job for half the price. You are paying for sales people that hold your hand and a showroom to show you your options. Some people need this, I don't. My wife apparently did. My sister just got a whole bathroom remodel including all the walls removed down to the studs, new tub, glass door, ceramic floors and walls, double sink vanity and all fixtures. All for $8,000. Her job looks just as good for so much less. If you don't mind paying inflated prices, by all means hire this company.
