Dr Elena removed an additional two fillings he had as she told us they had fused together. She also put on the temporary crown. A couple days later my husband was complaining the two teeth w were very sharp- and were aggravating his tongue. When he showed me his tongue there was a puncture wound and blood caused by the sharp teeth. He called asking if they could help him and file them down but asked to do so before his appointment on September 12, they were able to do so, but told him because his teeth were so thin they couldn't grind them down much. A week later his tongue became very infected. When I called and explained the situation doctor Elena laughed at me. That's when I became frustrated and explained it wasn't funny as my husband hadn't eaten in two days. She then told me I was a joke to call on my husbands behalf- and she would only speak to him. I told her he was at home but I would get him to call. I then asked to speak to a manager about the way she was rude. She began speaking to the manager while I could hear- saying I was unreliable, and didn't know what I was talking about. She then told me she wouldn't talk to an idiot and then hung up. I had my husband call and she told me he needed to "shut up and let me talk" and then told him to call back in 30 minutes if he could realize she wasn't god then he could call back. They have charged us almost $300 for the crown and refuse to refund us since we are not comfortable having them put his crown in after the service

Also, customer service wise .. oh boy it changed a lot to the worst! It's like day and night. I understand the covid-19 has affected everybody. But they don't do follow ups like before. If you don't take the bull by the horn and call them and try to set things straight .. they don't care anymore. I did my scan (for the millionth time) .. they issued new trays in February (we are technically July). It was a nightmare to try to find a date that will work for me and them to come and simply stick those trays in my mouth. I have asked many months ago to send them to my place like they did once before. They refused. And 3 months later ... after i started to lose my patience (today: they decided to send them - and they tried to tell me that i am responsible if things don't go right: what a nice way to blame the client for your own wrong doings). They could of sent it months ago and not lose 5months and have my teeth crooked again. Since Doctor Sophie left, i find that things are not the same. Patsy was always the best and she is still the best. But unfortunately i keep asking to talk to her and deal with her but apparently she can't do anything. honestly: i wish i never started my Invisalign in this clinic. Plenty of clinic offering same products downtown vancouver... i didn't need to commute to Langley (70Km each way every-time i have an appointment - which usually last 10min). This clinic is not the same is used to Be. Patsy is the inly one i respect a lot. The rest of the clinic i am not sure what the hell happened. I am so disappointed. I can't wait to finish this Invisalign and never have to go back there again. I just started my wife with another dentist downtown Vancouver. It's been great so far. From all the amazing people at the front desk to everyone else working hard at the back (with a smile on their faces) are all second to none! I love this place and this is why i travel 80km just to see my dentist. A huge salutation to Patsy & Dr Sophie for transforming my Smile with Invisalign. I never taught i can smile again with all the teeth going to every direction. Now i am proud to show my straight teeth! I love it. I had two root canals on my bottom back teeth that cracked he was very keen on trying to sell me dental implants, I asked him if there was anything else I could do to save the tooth besides pulling them and he assured me there was absolutely nothing else to be done. He wanted to pull out a third molar and kept pushing the implants. I decided to go for a consultation at another place and was told I could have a secondary root canal. dr. Wong never even told me there was such a thing !!!I went to my appointment and had a secondary root canal and my tooth was saved unfortunately, the two upper teeth above the teeth that were pulled out had to be extracted as well as they would keep growing as there was nothing beneath them to grind them down. every time me or someone in my family went for an appointment there was always a little something to fix. In the 5 or so years that I have been away from ivory dental and amazing smile dental, which Dr. Wong owns both I have not had any issues with my teeth to be honest I'm always complimented on how beautiful my teeth are. if I kept seeing Doctor Wong. I feel like all my teeth would've been gone by now and I would've paid five grand per tooth for dental implants to line his pockets. Stay away!!! no exaggeration, seriously. I only gave one star cause you have to.

I just made a simple inquiry with a receptionist last Friday evening and I felt she was not able to help me. So I asked to speak with a manager or owner on Friday evening via Facebook. Nobody contacted me until 11.49am today when your regional manager called me and answered my query and the issue was resolved. Everything is supposed to be fine after that! Then what is the purpose of your staff sending me this message in Facebook at 3.58PM later today: " Stann... I told you I was on holiay until the 24th. No other manager or owner is going to call you. If you need an appointment call the office. If you need to sell me something, don't count on it, you've already annoyed me." I cannot believe you will speak to a client in this tone? From the minute, I walked in.... work being done today and setting up my next appointment - 10/10 in the client care department. They explained everything from what x-rays were being taken, and what future work will take place to solve my problem. One of the reasons for the long delay between dental visits......a fear of being hurt and having pain with an past experience (out of town, many years ago). She also wanted to get a new partial denture under the CDCP plan and we had to keep following up on status. The paper work initially sent in did not have the supporting documents attached which delayed the process even longer. She had been to this office in July 2024 and it took April 2025 for her to get her pre approval done. But when the pre approval came through they did not have a denturist and hence referred us to another place. Now my mom has to wait for another 8weeks for the pre approval again. I would not recommend going to this place, no matter what. It is not worth your time and money. They do not know what they are doing. Be it Dr. Shaheen, the hygienist, the reception. Just went to Willoughby dental center and was very pleased to see their COVID-19 prevention…read moreprocedures in place. Mask are required like everywhere else and hand sanitizers are in place but what really impressed me was I watched an employee take their own temperature with the temp gun and record it in a log book. There were also other COVID-19 prevention procedures in place in the treatment areas that made me feel safe to be there. Jenny my hygienist did an great job taking care of me, she is always friendly professional and very good at what she does. On that same note the rest of team at the clinic are a pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend this clinic.
