Every interaction with them has been completely professional. What really got our eye was they are down to earth. We got to express how we really feel and so did they. Both of us having an unfiltered mouth, we knew these are the guys we want representing me. What they charge is reasonable no hidden fees. Thank you both for your work with my cases. Although we enjoyed working with you two let's hope we don't ever have to again!!

Fast forward a few months, as I was getting ready to go to work, I get a text message from the court about an hour before the court hearing with a video conferencing link stating that I needed to be present at 10 AM. I had no prior notice or communication from the lawyer. I called the law firm, and the receptionist told me, "the person who can answer your questions about the case won't be in for another hour, so you better attend." I had to ChatGPT some response/plan as I had no idea what to say or do. About 10 minutes right before my court case, that lawyer finally called me and was asking me about the details of my case as if he had just learned about it. He told me that there was a "glitch" and that I should have been informed about the court case with more reminders 2 weeks ahead of the date. He called the prosecutor to cut a "deal" about 5 minutes before the case, which was the worst deal I've ever had with a traffic lawyer that left me paying near the original fine fee and 6 months probation. By far the worst experience with a law firm. When I hired Melton Law, they were initially able to have my court case delayed. I've contacted several companies, due to an outdated case from nearly 30 years ago which caused…read moreanterograde and retrograde amnesia. I restarted my life COMPLETELY over from a preschooler level, without the mental capacity to look up a lawyer..... Of course, the statu te of limitations claim that when physicians opene upend your life and virtually remove your job, your enrolled schooling for law practice, your friends, most of your family, your memories, AND your ability to live on your own because you cannot even drive a damn car---the statute of limitations says, "In general, medical malpractice claims in Utah are subject to a two-year statute of limitations contained in UCA § 78B-3-404(1)." So, finding someone willing to give my case more than a three/second look won't happen. HOWEVER, when declining an opportunity to help someone, it's usually a great idea to have some sort of compassion and decency when denying them, because you never know if that person's going to come back with something else that you can help them with later. Jardine Law Offices DID do this, opposed to several others whom I've clearly taken up too much of their time by writing to them in the first place. If I am going to hire someone, today, later, or even refer a friend, which legal office will likely come to mind; The ones who set down their steak knives and wiped their mouths before shooing me away like a scurvy-ridden vagrant? Or the cordial and decent men using courteous language? Because of you want to be treated like a worthwhile human, rather than some peon begging for scraps, it's pretty evident who your time and money are worth--I don't need to create a color-by-number for anyone with sense. (PHOTO: This was my income for the decade proceding my amnesia--a far cry from the school I attended for law. But, I didn't need to think, and I didn't die of starvation! Thank you, Dr. Susan Edwards, for the life-altering experimental drugs--that were not revealed as such. This Bud's for you.)

I just went through one of the worst 3 year divorce processess you could imagine. David was my…read moresecond attorney that I hired about a year ago and I would give anything to make him my first attorney for the following reasons. #1. I got more accomplished with him in the second half of my divorce by a huge margin than I did with my first attorney. #2. He did it all for less than 20% of what I had paid my other attorney because he WILL NOT nickel and dime you in anyway shape and form. Do not be fooled by other attorney's who may charge a smaller retainer because that means nothing when they are calling you every week asking to refill the retainer because they have exchausted it over useless crap. David doesn't do that. He will tell you (at least a ballpark) of what its gonna cost and he will stick to it regardless of what happens. #3 If you are shopping for a divorce lawyer you are about to enter a purgatory you cannot imagine. As far as divorce attorney's go (and I went through one horrible one and shopped around for 4 months to find the right one for my second) he is the closest thing you will find to a rope to get you out of hell. Especially if you are a loving father fighting for your rights, and get custody of your child(ren) from a snake of an ex-wife who wants nothing more than to destroy you. #4. My divorce lasted 28 months. I hired David 20 months into the process and he got more accomplished in the last 8 months than the previous months combined. (and for far less money) #5. Probably the most important part of all of this is that David is a pitbull to fight for your rights. (and be advised that his argumentative and abrasive nature might actually get you in a heated discussion or two between the two of you...but I promise you that is exactly what you want in a divorce attorney. David is that way all the time and he WILL use that same ferocity against opposing council and the judge). Do not be turned off by his bluntness, and realism. It is exactly what you are looking for to get you fair justice in a divorce case. Even on the parts of your case you don't end up winning (because you can't control what a judge will do) he will make the best possible arguments to fight for you and what is yours(and he's so good he WILL get most of it), and he will do it with full knowledge of the law and absolute resolve to get everything he can for you. #6 He is FULLY COMPETENT at everything in divorce law and proceedure and all of that. He has been in practice for years, and knows the system, the rules, the players (other attorneys and the judges) and exactly the right and aggressive way to get it done. If you are a father like me fighting for your rights to get custody of your child, and not have to pay your x-wife every dime you've ever had to get it....STOP SHOPPING FOR ATTORNEYS and hire David. I will say it again...I wish to God I had found him from the beginning. If I could give 10 stars I would. He's very very very good, and he knows exactly what he is doing!!!! 'nuff said.
