They may do well with simple cases in minor courts and in state clients for nothing more complicated than a DUI/simple possession charge, but anything other than that STAY AWAY. The firm was never able to effectively communicate with me. I asked for all correspondence to go through email on multiple occasions. Instead I get texts with wrong information sent to a family member the night before I'm supposed to have court in person in a city that is 500 miles away the next morning @ 8AM. This happened on multiple occasions and was never resolved. It was clear minimum time was spent on my case. As a client I was never given a copy of my discovery or plea agreement, nor were they ever read over with me by my attorney. I have never felt more rushed or confused entering a plea in my life. Finally, I was removed from billing and the firm filed to withdraw from council without talking to me about it, which resulted in a warrant for my arrest. I find this grossly incompetent and unethical. Do not trust this firm for anything non dui related. Do not trust this firm if you are an out of state client. Do not trust this firm if you found what they did to me unethical. They're more concerned with putting pronouns in their titles than actually doing real legal work. There are much better firms that are substantially cheaper.

Of course, the statu te of limitations claim that when physicians opene upend your life and virtually remove your job, your enrolled schooling for law practice, your friends, most of your family, your memories, AND your ability to live on your own because you cannot even drive a damn car---the statute of limitations says, "In general, medical malpractice claims in Utah are subject to a two-year statute of limitations contained in UCA § 78B-3-404(1)." So, finding someone willing to give my case more than a three/second look won't happen. HOWEVER, when declining an opportunity to help someone, it's usually a great idea to have some sort of compassion and decency when denying them, because you never know if that person's going to come back with something else that you can help them with later. They treated the cases as routine and didn't talk to the client before court. Gave the impression how the plea and abeyance would take into an account certain circumstances which is not how it worked. The client would have been served just as well by a public defender. I also believe that because they didn't file paperwork on time there was a warrant for arrest in play until it was done. Very disappointed in the level of service. Most people who need an attorney don't know how legal system works and therefore need a little more guidance to the process. We did not get this.

I got more accomplished with him in the second half of my divorce by a huge margin than I did with my first attorney. #2. He did it all for less than 20% of what I had paid my other attorney because he WILL NOT nickel and dime you in anyway shape and form. Do not be fooled by other attorney's who may charge a smaller retainer because that means nothing when they are calling you every week asking to refill the retainer because they have exchausted it over useless crap. David doesn't do that. He will tell you (at least a ballpark) of what its gonna cost and he will stick to it regardless of what happens. #3 If you are shopping for a divorce lawyer you are about to enter a purgatory you cannot imagine. As far as divorce attorney's go (and I went through one horrible one and shopped around for 4 months to find the right one for my second) he is the closest thing you will find to a rope to get you out of hell. He has been in practice for years, and knows the system, the rules, the players (other attorneys and the judges) and exactly the right and aggressive way to get it done.
