A African American female worker comes up in a cuyahoga county work truck and takes a picture of my license plate and of the car behind me as well. She then knocks on my windows and begins to berate me that Noone is to pull off the road and into the lane until 7:30. I ask her what she is doing with the picture of my license plate and she starts walking away before I can get an answer.

Rockwell Parking Garage is located right across the street from Pho Thang Café. Pulled in - had to go up 3 levels to find spaces that are not reserved. Upon return - pay at the kiosk machine on the first level, then return to your vehicle and use the ticket to exit the parking garage! #RockwellParkingGarage

There aren't many reviews for different garages, and some we would need to be put on a waiting list. I'm glad we ended up at this one. All of the attendants have been lovely, and what sparked me to write this review is that today my husband lost the parking pass (sorry to call you out, hun), and they were very kind about it. (We found it!) They have high security and are right across from the Federal Reserve so there are literally armed guards across the street from the entrance to this garage. And they have it closed down at times where you need to swipe to enter/leave it an extra time, so it feels secure. One issue is that sometimes I'm entering the garage around 4 p.m. when a lot of workers are leaving and they are sometimes going down fast around the corners, which can be tight. In general it is a little tight. But the garage is clearly a two-way garage so I can't fault the garage for people who can't read signs or aren't being cautious when it states 5 mph. Perhaps some signs to honk when turning corners like some garages I've seen would be helpful? The only other thing is that on the first turn from the first floor to the first ramp, they usually have some sort of bin there that looks empty and would help so much if they moved as that's the tightest corner. The first couple of floors are saved for people who have purchased reserved parking but then the several floors above are free. Spots are a little tight, especially with the beams, but completely workable. I may have a skewed perspective from major cities where you need to climb out through the window to not scrape the BMW next to you, but there's also many floors so if you don't find a spot you like you can keep on going. Random but maybe helpful: Since we've joined this garage, my former car needed Safelite windshield repair and the garage didn't allow the height for the truck to enter, so I had to park my car around the corner -- so don't invite a car repair to this garage.

Pretty decent rates in a safe location that is not far from all the good stuff in Cleveland like the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the stadium. I think the prices might go up for special events like that though. But for a random day walking around Cleveland in the summer this works fine. The special event rate is 10-20 I'm told. Other than 5-9pm Mon-Fri the garage is actually free, which is cool.

The parking here reminds me of the narrow and small parking garages all over Germany. We tended to get stuck parking between the 4th-6th floors. There were never any spots on the 3rd floor at all. PAYMENT INSTRUCTIONS -- The instructions to pay for parking upon entering are laid out right as you drive in. The payment instructions are straight forward. You have to use your smart phone to scan a QR code. The QR code will then take you to a web link where you enter your name, credit card information, and car license plate. Upon exiting the parking garage, you will be charged. COST -- the cost is listed right as you enter the garage. It costs $19 if you park from 2-12 hours during weekdays. On weekends, it costs $15 if you are in by 4am and out by 4am. There are other rates so review them as you enter the garage or take a look at my posted photo. ZONES/CONFUSION OF WHERE YOU PARKED -- There is Tier A and Tier B with 4 zones in each tier. I parked in an area marked as Zone 4 which is in Tier A. Tier A has Zones 1-4 and Tier B has Zones 5-8. This isn't a helpful system because it doesn't explain what floor you parked on. I'm used to seeing "Floor 1" or "Floor 2". Thankfully, it took me maybe about 5 mins to find my car so keep this in mind. SERVICE is available - I noticed people in the front booth waiting to help when I entered the garage so any questions that you may have can hopefully be answered. I didn't need service so I can't comment on how helpful the workers here are. TIP -- There is a car wash inside which is quite convenient. I contacted them through their Facebook page, and got timely, friendly, and helpful responses. They even sent me a coupon for $5 off of the rate, $40. $40 to park seemed a little high to me, but seemed to be the going rate in the area. There was plenty of room in the lot, and we had a nice space to tailgate. Another plus was that they did not have a problem allowing us to use our charcoal grill to cook. The one strike against it was that they parked the rows a bit close, as some fellow tailgaters had to help us back out as it was a bit of a tight squeeze. All in all if or when we return to another Browns game, this is definitely a place we would return.

My husband and I parked our vehicle here for three days while we stayed at a nearby hotel. Many parking spaces were available for us to use. The cost for the parking was included in the cost of our hotel room, but I read that people who are not guests of the hotel might pay $1 per hour up to a total of several dollars per day. We experienced no problems with the functioning of the elevators. At the end of our trip, we saw that our vehicle was still there and had no damage.
