I was super impressed by how clean the trash cans were inside and out!!! The odors that were present before the cleaning were completely gone. The only negative comment I have, would be the sticker they placed on all of my trash cans. I guess it would not have been so bad if they were weatherproof, but now that the rain has gotten to them, the only thing left is a white square. Overall, the trash cans look great. Other than normal wear and tear from the trash trucks, they looked brand new. I would recommend this company. I've always been frustrated with my nasty trash bins and finally gave CleanACan a call. Customer service was a tiny bit frustrating but that's because the guys are usually on the field working while taking calls. Either way, this was the best decision I made. They clean all three trash bins the day after your regular trash pick up day. You may not think you need clean trash cans but I swear once you smell that amazing clean laundry smell instead of rotten eggs, you will never look back. And the price is excellent. We had our trash can cleaned in Anaheim Hills. They did a great job, smelled fresh, and looked almost new afterwards. As much as I would like to get this done monthly, I think I'll have to hold off though on it as as once in a while type service, as the pricing is still a bit more then I want to spend. But it's definitely a job that I don't have time for so it's worth it every so often for sure. read more

Trash cans are gross and I am a clean freak, so when I saw clean-a-can trucks, i was intrigued. We have used the service for a couple years and it's great. The cans stay clean, free to spiders and other bugs and smelling fresh. I loved the idea of this service however when we determined that this wouldnt resolve our problem I CANCELED in November. TODAY, late December I am still being billed, and their customer service Mark Bradely claimed it was because THEIR company was behind in their billing. It is not my fault as a customer that they did not accurately billed me, and that almost TWO months later I have to continously verify that my service has been canceled. Again, GREAT concept, however do not argue in such a passive aggressive manner with a customer who says they DO want to return in summer, and tell me "for the sake of peace" youll refund me or that we can "argue about poor customer" service later. read more

I recently tried this service and am so happy that I did. I had a service with another company in the past but they left all of the debris from the cans along my driveway and grass edge. Clean-A-Can's trucks have a special design that ensures all of the debris that is washed away, stays within their truck tank. This is important to us because we don't have storm drains on our street. Having this service will be a game changer during the summer months when we entertain a lot and worry about the awful trash smells from the cans due to the summer heat. I called this company on August 28th to schedule a cleaning after not being successful with using their online form. The website is a mess. I spoke with a man who answered the phone and I asked if they could come out and clean my cans on Wednesday the 7th and his response was, "we are headed into a holiday weekend, I will call you back and let you know." My thought was WTF? I asked again and his response was the same. At this point I was getting frustrated and just said "ok, thank you" and hung up. He didn't take my information, so obviously he did not call me back. Awesome customer service, called and made the appointment for the same week. The guys stop by our home early and did it fast, never thought of hiring someone to clean our trash cans who knew !!!‍‍. My husband used to do it but he always left them smelly and our street full of nasty stuff and stinky water I hate it ! I used to make fun of my neighbor for being so picky about using a service to clean her trashcans every month. I figured I rinsed off mine when they got real dirty. Didn't do a good job but at the time i figured it was good enough. When I found out how inexpensive it was at $109 a year, I thought to myself I need that! We are a family of 4 with a large breed dog, so it gets filthy dirty with everyone's junk/filth/crap/debris ...It even has mold growing occasionally on hot summer days. Gross!! I was first skeptical when my wife suggested we use the free one-time offer. But after Mr. Clean's technicians performed the work, I was very happy. My wife used to complain that that the cans smelled due to the organic and kitchen waste, not to mention our dog's messes. Not a very good first impression. Someone from the Company was in my neighborhood today hanging advertising flyers on the handle of the trash cans, which is fine. But they then turned the trash can around, presumably so that the flyer could be seen from the street. Unfortunately the trash had not been picked up yet so when the trash truck came they could not pick up the trash can that was backwards. So now I have a completely full trash can that won't be emptied until next week! read more

We have used another company before, were happy with them but they raised price so we got these guys, wife was never happy with the job when comparing to the previous cleaning service but I kept these guys due to their price but couple of times they charged me because they came on a different day than usual day (due to holidays or whatever), without making reasonable attempt to let us know they are coming on a different day, cans were behind the gate so they didn't clean them, yet they charged me anyway!
