When I asked him what his justification was for that price when all the other quotes were closer to 300-500$ for the exact same labor and treatments. He said that he had to deal with "more than one party" and was charging more because of that. All he had to do was answer a few questions from my grandma and get the call later if we decided to do it, we always try to make sure she makes the final decision on anything that impacts her. I think he was mad that we were there at all. It felt very exploitative and he got quite rude after we asked him to explain why his quote was triple the others in the area. Frankly, I think if me and my fiancé weren't there he would have overcharged her by a lot and she wouldn't have known. My fiancé and I did the exact work with the same chemicals and a rented machine and it cost us 80$ and 4 hours. This happened a few months ago. I won't ever give this company another chance. Even if they weren't trying anything shady, they clearly don't hold family values in high regard if caregiving for an elderly loved one is seen as a reason to charge someone MORE for the same labor.
