They over saturated our goose down arhaus couch that remained wet for DAYS and smelled like a farm because all the down was soaked. They brought out industrial sized fans a few days later that we had to run for several days hoping the material didn't mold inside the casings. We took out as many cushions as we could to help them dry. After talking to arhaus they stated the cleaning code on the label indicated to NOT use water like the company did.

When I asked him what his justification was for that price when all the other quotes were closer to 300-500$ for the exact same labor and treatments. He said that he had to deal with "more than one party" and was charging more because of that. I think he was mad that we were there at all. It felt very exploitative and he got quite rude after we asked him to explain why his quote was triple the others in the area. Frankly, I think if me and my fiancé weren't there he would have overcharged her by a lot and she wouldn't have known. My fiancé and I did the exact work with the same chemicals and a rented machine and it cost us 80$ and 4 hours. This happened a few months ago. I won't ever give this company another chance. Even if they weren't trying anything shady, they clearly don't hold family values in high regard if caregiving for an elderly loved one is seen as a reason to charge someone MORE for the same labor.
