I remember when we saw the pictures and read that there was a private chef, we thought the picture was probably not their normal fare! The counselors were patient and made the information easy for him to understand, so he could incorporate changes into his life. My phone calls to Pathways were met with compassion, understanding and follow-up. I showed up and I really lucked out. I learned that this was a dual-diagnosis program ... let's get to the core of my addiction. I started in detox. The team was incredible kind, supportive and genuine. From there, I moved into inpatient treatment. The structure, education, meetings, coping skills, tools, individual counseling, therapy meetings, etc ... all by design and extremely beneficial.
