I was hesitant to engage anyone, because I'm not accustomed to hiring cleaners, and I wasn't sure how I'd feel about it. When I read a favorable article in the local paper about this company, I decided to at least try them for one deep clean. Well, they came, they cleaned. They were professional and pleasant, and I was instantly hooked. Let me tell you, if you are feeling scattered, overwhelmed and constantly putting off the big cleaning jobs, the floor washing, the vacuuming...you must not hesitate to engage this team. They come every two weeks, and they clean a two-story house from top to bottom (we do close off a doom room or two, that aren't ready for cleaners). But they are unfailingly thorough, always friendly and just nice people to deal with. When they leave, and they never take very long, my house is again the sanctuary it is meant to be. I also love it that they use no harsh chemicals. The only smell that sometimes lingers for a few minutes is the vinegar cleaner, but that's a terrific, natural cleaning solution, and I'd rather smell that for a little bit, than strong chemicals. I have no plans to change this situation. The improvement to my home, and the stress reduction, is invaluable. Thank you Courtney, and A Touch Above team, for making my life better, and for being the kind professionals that you are. I highly recommend this service.

I usually end up going back to clean the areas that have been missed. Big Apple is tremendously thorough, due in part to the steam cleaner. It's done a great job on our kitchen tile. I also appreciate their use of green cleaning products. Their service price is pretty much on par with typical cleaning services even with the addition of the steam cleaning. They lack the superficial professionalism and friendliness of services like Eco Maids. But I'd rather have someone do a thorough job and be a little less friendly than be friendly and leave me feeling like I could have done a better job myself.

I really like their steam cleaning method because of its deep cleaning capability. They steam clean my carpets at every appointment and Vera goes above and beyond to remove any stains. Paola is absolutely incredible. I've been using Dangelo Cleaning Service for close to a year and I…read morecan't tell you how much it has improved my quality of life. Because of my ADHD, keeping my home space tidy can be a struggle. Also I work from home, so the last thing I want to do in my spare time is clean the space I'm staring at 10 hours a day. Knowing that Paola is coming every other week, like clockwork (seriously: never late), helps me stay organized and clutter-free. And the cleaning! Outsides of cabinets wiped down, inside of microwave cleaned, floors mopped. She pulls back the rugs to clean under the edges where so much junk can accumulate. Bathroom sparkles. They'll make up your bed. At Christmastime, I told her not to worry about cleaning near the tree and all the pine needles, since it was so messy. Guess who cleaned around the tree anyway. Most of all, her pricing is very, very reasonable. And she lets me practice my horrible Spanish with her, and teaches me how to speak more conversationally. At first, I dreaded having the cleaners come, because of guilt and shame. Now I'm giddy to wake up early every other Monday, because I'm excited to see Paola and her crew--and I know that in about an hour, I'll have a deliciously clean living space.
