Highly recommend for "removing" pet (cat urine) odor in your carpet!!! I found Clean Choice when looking for a company that could truly clean (not just mask) cat urine in carpet and carpet pads. Most carpet cleaning companies just mask the strong smell of cat urine, but the process used by Clean Choice actually eliminated the source of the order. Clean Choice used a special cleaning process and products. First they used a professional strength black light to detect each area where my cat had soiled/sprayed and then they injected a special, heated biologic/enzymatic solution under the carpet at each of these soiled areas, to saturate the pad and underlying concrete (in my finished basement) at each specific spot. They followed the injections with their very thorough, truck mounted, heated cleaning/extraction process, and gave me instructions for how to clean any future cat soiling and a bottle of unscented special spray to help minimize any repeat soiling. As they explained when I booked the appointment and again in-person, it took about 3-4 days for my basement carpet to completely dry (less air circulation since no ceiling fans) and the urine odor to be eliminated (as the biologic/enzymatic process "ate" the urine), but I am thrilled with the final results! It's 30 days later, and I continue to use the recommended spray to help minimize the risk of future pet soiling and neither of my cats has urinated/sprayed in the basement again. No more nasty urine smell! It's a cleaning miracle! This cleaning outcome is letting us postpone replacing our basement flooring, which is great news since our carpet is relatively new. When we finally replace the carpet with solid flooring, we will use Clean Choice to seal the concrete before the new flooring is installed, ensuring that any lingering urine smell (undetectable to humans but detectable to pets) is completely blocked. Clean Choice also cleaned my bedroom and stairwell carpets and all work was thorough, professional, and the results look great. The price was extremely reasonable given the work involved (they were at my home about 3 hours) and the proprietary system they used, which was different (and better) than any other carpet cleaner I've hired in the past. Their customer service was great, their booking process was great, and the final cleaning outcome in my home was fantastic! My husband and I needed our carpets cleaned on short notice for our home and I looked around online and found Clean Choice. The before and after pictures along with their customer service was what made me set up an appointment with them. The technician Keith was very knowledgeable and even gave me tips for how to keep the carpet in great shape going forward. We had a basement stairwell that had never even been vacuumed before today I'm sure (house was a bachelor pad before I moved in lol) and he did a great job on it. I think this is the only negative review I've ever written but this can't go unsaid. Hands down, the WORST service visit I've ever experienced. When we made the appointment, we explained to them on the phone that we live on a low traffic street in the city and that they would most likely have to double park. Service trucks do this all day every day here. They said they would let the technician know and acted as if it was no problem. When we saw the van out front, my fiancé went outside to greet him and he wasn't in the vehicle. He came from around the corner, with horrible attitude asking which vehicle was ours for us to move. We explained again that he just parks like that, that's the normal. He is extremely rude and begins yelling at us outside (neighbors around, people walking dogs, publicly yelling at us) that he can't double park and he doesn't care what everyone else does. We told him that we had already told them on the phone about the parking when setting up the appointment. He replies "she doesn't drive these trucks!!! She doesn't know anything!!!" He continues to tell us that he wants to drive and park on the sidewalk. I guarantee that would get him in trouble- not double parking. He also wouldn't be able to fit on the sidewalk seeing as how there are large planters on one side of the sidewalk and small porches/stoops on the other side. This makes the sidewalk a normal size, not wide enough for a full size cargo van! When I tried to explain that to him, he talked to me like I was a total idiot yelling "I don't know what you don't understand!!!!!" I've never been spoken to like that in my own home by someone hired to perform a service! We made him leave. I didn't feel comfortable with someone like that in our home and I certainly didn't trust him to do the job properly since he had that big of an issue even being here. I would never recommend this company because they allow people like this to be the face of their company and someone like this is who they actually send to people's homes?!?! Nobody would feel comfortable letting someone like this in their home. This was overall a very dis satisfying experience and we didn't even get the services we ordered. I hope this company gets better people to go to people's homes because if this man continues to do it, I see this company failing quickly. read more
