Horrible company! Was recommended to them by a friend, but regret it and so does the person who recommended them. Did a not so "professional" job as their company name attempts to allude to, especially for what they are charging. They also somehow managed to damage/kaput our refrigerator that was working for years and up until the morning they arrived. I've used Nav-Ex for many years and have even referred them to many friends and clients. I recently had them clean a property that I had been renting out. I specifically told the woman on the phone that I wanted a maximum of two hours of cleaning. It was a small condo and two hours would be plenty of time to make it nice and fresh. When I got the bill, they cleaned for 2.5 hours. I called and asked why they cleaned for over two hours when I specifically said two hours was the limit. They said they needed more time to clean. In that instance, they should have called and asked me. I sent an email and complained. They apologized and said a bunch of other nonsense...but did not offer me any money back or any credits for future cleanings. It's not the money that bothers me (it was $40-$50 more). It was the lack of customer service. There are so many good cleaning services out there that appreciate the business that they get and treat their customers well. Nav-Ex isn't one of them. Don't bother calling them. They don't listen and don't care. read more

I was a loyal customer. However, in my opinion, Luis Navarro and the team at Navex do not care about their customers. There were miscellaneous incidents over the years, but I'm generally low maintenance so I did not make a big fuss. I generally asked for a specific team that was consistent and good. They weren't always able to assign that team. A different team came to the house. Three issues occurred: -They had a bowel movement in my bathroom and didn't clean. I had to clean after them. -A toilet in a different bathroom, that had NEVER leaked previously, started leaking into the living room while they were cleaning. --My husband gave the staff my daughter's Barbie dream house. When they tried to put it in their car, it was large and they broke it. They then tried to put it back in the basement broken. When I raised my concerns with Navex, instead of being apologetic, concerned or interested in addressing the matter, Luis Navarro was dismissive on the phone. Then in e-mail, he stated that he would make a note in my file that staff should not use my bathroom and the toilet issue was maintenance and not their concern. He didn't address that his staff failed to perform their job-that I had to clean after them. Nothing. He didn't even offer a discount. And-despite my years as a loyal customer, he was rude, nasty and treated me as if my business was insignificant. Unfortunately, the cleaning was way below par and the 2 ladies sent to clean our new condo tried to trick us into paying for more time than was originally quoted. The company responded quick to my request for service and were able to schedule my job very quickly which was awesome! But we were to have a 2 and 1/2 hour deep cleaning of our vacant 2 bedroom apartment before we moved in. They spent the full time here but seemed to just skim over a lot of things. For instance, there were still splatter marks next to the shower, and dirt on the door frame. All in all, I was very disappointed. There was no garbage or gross messes so it should have been an easier cleaning job for them. read more

I have used Nav- Ex Cleaning for Over 8 YEARS and have been very loyal to them . This team they sent out to my home this time was the worse . Usually I am not home when they clean and the team they send does a great job . Especially when I am out of town . The last 3 times it has been a disaster. iNCIDENT1 : My daughters toilet start backing up into the tub after a cleaning was done . I did not blame the ladies my house is older so I said ok it may not be them lets get a plumber and check the plumbing ( mind you it never did this until they came and cleaned my daughters bathroom) Incident 2: I ask one of the ladies to clean my wood floor and fold clothing in Laundry room and they said they did not have time to do so ( Reality they jus didn't want to do it) Incident 3: This was the BIGGEST OF BIGGEST situations . I was home yesterday had a appointment set for 1-3 arrival time . The ladies came Early no contact no notice no nothing . So they come and I was not quit ready for them to start but let them start anyway. I was there the whole time . I didn't smell any clean smell with this team and they did not clean my house like the team that usually does .What they did is move a few things around but did not clean . So this time I WAS HOME so I would expect them to do there best not a rush job. Not only did they do a Rush job but I requested for main areas to be done and 1 bedroom . Mind you there was 2 of them there . In the 2 hours that was allotted my Kitchen should have been cleaned mind you all they had to do is mop the floor and clean the dish's. So I call the office to let them know my kitchen was not cleaned . So the lady comes back Does not look in the dishwasher to see its broke. MIND YOU my regular ladies NEVER used the dish washer cause they already know its broken. The put them in there and roughen my dishes did not check to see if the dish wash was clean or anything . I was pissed because out of 8 years when calling the office to report the situation with my kitchen floor a mess . They where not apologetic at all but was quick to send me that $225 bill but not to rectify the situation . I can use any cleaning company I want honestly but my loyalty had me sticking with them . I've used Nav-ExCleaning Services before and had great service. When I decided to have my apartment deep cleaned I called them again. Today, my apartment was cleaned and when their team left, I found a rip in my carpet. When I reached out, I was told that it could have been the charging cords that were plugged into the wall that melted on the rug. It wasn't. I was told that even though the carpet was intact prior to the cleaning, they would take no responsibility. I understand standing by your employees, however when I sent a photo showing the carpet had been sliced/ torn I received the attitude of so sorry, not our fault, thank you. We had a dog in the property for two years, and after the Nav-Ex crew cleaned the landlord had no clue the dog had been there. This review is for the carpet cleaning service. I am a regular customer of the home cleaning service, and I will give them five stars for that in a different review. Because I am a regular customer I was given a special spring cleaning rate for carpet cleaning. I wasn't prepared to have the carpets cleaned in the spring, but they held the rate for me to be used at any time. They did an awesome job on my carpets today. For $165 I had one master bedroom, living room ,dining room and three landings of stairs cleaned. My carpets were definitely a challenge because of my stubborn Maltese. It took only 2 hours. When they were finished, my carpet looked Brand Nu! My house smells fresh and clean already! They were on time, professional, and friendly. The cleaning itself has been very good but the customer service is a problem. I asked them to pause the service but they ignored my request and used the code to enter my house. When I called the office to complain, the man who answered was very rude and told me they had to right to do so even against my objection. I hired Nav-Ex Cleaning to clean an empty house before it went on the market. When they arrived they assessed it would take them 4 to 5 hours, which sounded awfully long, considering that the house was not that big and was freshly painted and with new floors and carpeting, but I agreed to that estimate. Then they proceeded to charge me for 6 hours, no explanation. And they wouldn't clean the outside of the windows, never mind that these are windows that dismount in seconds for cleaning safely from inside the house. Not even the sliding patio doors. But no, the office said they would have to "send a technician" and quoted me an additional price per window. I agreed, but ended up paying twice per window for each two-pane windows. They did not strike me as the professional, knowledgeable company I thought I was hiring. And I felt very much taken advantage of. read more

Navex would have gotten a higher rating from me, but after speaking with the owner, I was not happy with the response. My father passed away two months ago and after The house was emptied I needed a thorough deep cleaning of my parents home so that I could put their place up for resale. I do not live there. They did my dads place on Tuesday and I could not get there until the weekend. There was a stain in the shower that was not there previously and I sent a picture to the owner and he told me it had to be there before, it was not. He told me that he could not get a rust stain off without harsh chemicals. I also told him that the hood of the stove was left sticky and unclean. The tech did the hood beautifully, but as he was cleaning the hood, I got down on my hands and knees, used an sos pad and cleanser and got the stain out myself. Not only did I have to come back, I cleaned the stain myself! I asked for compensation for having to come back to my dads(i live a half hour away )so that they could come back and clean the couple of things they missed.a A 25 dollar credit would have done it, but the owner did not want to offer any kind of credit. Customer service is lacking here. I did not ask for a complete refund, a credit would have been fine, but instead I was told the rust stain had to have been there already, it was not.They moved my dads shower chair and did not put it back in the same place. I am writing this in response to another reviewer who said the employees broke her picture frame. I came home to a cleaning by Nav-Ex, and there was a huge gash in the wood part of my wall. I know they did it, but I never said anything because I figured they would deny it. Their cleaning otherwise is just like all the rest. Not really that good. Such a bad customer service. They charged me for the time they were lost when it was clearly their fault by not allowing direct communication with the ladies. I had to call the office 3 times to describe the location instead of letting me talk directly to the ladies and guide them quickly to the place. They spent about 20 Minutes lost not finding the entrance of the building and since the office doesn't give the numbers of the service cleaners I had to keep calling them and waiting for them to describe the entrance. This made it really slow for them to find my apartment since there was no direct communication and the ladies kept changing their place without telling me. After the 2 hours, they told me I had to pay for the extra 20 Minutes they spent looking for the apartment and they charged me around $45 which is a half an hour fee. The ladies weren't effective and didn't do a good enough work. They were very slow and when they were cleaning the tables they didn't pay attention and I had to ask them several times to wipe the tables without leaving traces. I wouldn't recommend this company at all. They are slow and have a terrible customer service. Hope they can change that. read more

I have used this company before for cleaning/maid services and they did great. I just had them do my carpets and the techs did a great job but the company definitely was sneaky about the wording and I felt overcharged me. I won't be using them again simply for the poor wording and high prices. I asked them via their website/email how much it would be for the carpets to be cleaned under the premium package. They responded with "The price for the Premium Package is $90.00 for the first 2 area of size 200 square foot or less each. And $35.00 for every additional area of size 200 square foot or less each. Larger areas will be priced according to its size." I explained to them that the three rooms were filled about 50% with furniture and I estimated that the total carpet needing cleaned would be about 200 sq ft (maybe 250). I also told them I needed two sets of stairs done (i.e. $35 each as they are outside of the 200 sq ft). I assumed the price would be about $160 per the discussion (the upstairs that was about 200 sq ft of non furnitured area and two sets of stairs.). Well it ended up being $230 bc apparently they charge PER ROOM not per 200 sq ft AREAS. I spoke to a woman over the phone about the issue and it was clear she didn't really care what I was told via the email. I received a call later from another person (who was nice and courteous) but suggested I reread the email that said "per room"...which it didn't (see above copied and pasted from the email)! I mean maybe I'm the idiot who when told that it's a 200 sq ft area uses the definition of what an area is aka "the extent or measurement of a surface". Whereas they decided that an area means individual rooms. Anyhow, moral of this rating is...the men and women who work for this company work hard and do good work but there's definitely some kinks for management to figure out. I recommend you get an in person quote before scheduling. If you agree to the price then obviously I recommend them because the workers work hard and do a good job. My beef isn't with the work that was done it was with the unclear wording for the estimate. read more
