The woman I talked to in the office was very professional and said she would definitely send a crew to fix this. It took a couple of hours before they came, but this was actually quite fast as all of their crews were engaged on other projects. The two that came to the house were terrific. They quickly figured out the problem and commenced to replace the sump pump. After a successful installation, they monitored the pump to insure it was was doing exactly what they thought it should be doing. I was extremely happy with the service provided. I would definitely recommend them for future work.

They installed my faucet, explained what had happened, offered advice, and removed all used parts, which was all done neatly and within a short amount of time. Joe was reliable, knowledgeable, incredibly polite (even took off his shoes upon entering), honest, and did what he said he was going to do at the price point quoted. Got to the shower and first plunged it (with my plunger) and broke the plunger. Then snaked it. After about 30 minutes of hearing the banging of the snaking I came in to see what was happening. The clog was worse and he seemed baffled as to why. Mentioned that the snake was fully extended and he didn't know where it all was going - that it made no sense. I walked downstairs to find water pouring through the ceiling and a sink overflowing. He proceeded to say that "that was already like that". That we are now at about something like $400 for his time thus far and to keep going we are looking at $300 more. My response was that I think I would have noticed if I had water leaking like that I would have noticed and pointed out that we were just down here scoping the clean out and there was not water pouring out - this just happened. I asked what he thinks might be going on, did he break a pipe snaking? His response was "I am going to leave it there" As in I am walking out with water pouring through your celling and out your sink. I was shocked and barely holding back tears. His response was "this is my business and I don't want you to sue me". He did indeed walk out. It took me 24 hours to get something else here and in that time a pipe burst in our wall causing even more damage. Turned out he broke the shower pan when snaking causing the issues - yet another issue we are left fixing. What a nightmare and beyond unprofessional.

I contacted the company to inquire about getting an estimate for cleaning an unfinished basement and addressing a recent animal odor. I called and left a message and the next day a man who identified himself as Dane Phillips called me. I told him about the circumstances and he agreed to visit the property the next morning. He arrived on time and I escorted him to the basement to evaluate the space. He took measurements and said the job was no problem, they do it all the time. He asked for my email address so he could send me the estimate. I didn't ask for a timeline, I simply assumed it would be as soon as possible. This was on a Friday. By Monday, I had not yet received the estimate so I called and asked him when I could expect to receive his estimate. He said customarily he needs "two business days" and that I would receive the estimate by the end of the next day. I thought that was odd for a local business since I was on the phone calling him about it and he didn't offer to get it to me that day since I obviously wanted to move forward. Also, he said nothing about "two business days" when we spoke in person. Bottom line: he never sent the estimate. I called again, reached the answering service and left a message. I never received a call back. If they didn't want the job, that would have been fine. Just say so. What's not fine is telling a customer they'll receive something by a specific time and then simply not follow through, and not even return a call. That's not a scheduling hiccup, that's a red flag for business honesty and responsibility. If a company can't be straightforward about something as simple as sending an estimate, that raises serious concerns about how they handle bigger parts of a job. Trust matters when you're inviting someone into your home and potentially spending a significant amount of money. This experience gave me zero confidence. I noticed that Dane Phillips' name, or the name of any other owner, is not listed anywhere on their website, despite the company highlighting many glowing reviews. I now have to question how representative they are. Transparency and follow-through are important when choosing a service provider. There are other property restoration services in the area, and I suggest looking elsewhere.
