I truly love this place. I got a build your own bowl size meadium. For my base I got the kale and quinoa heated up, for my protein I ALWAYS get the bison ( the bison here is so favorable and juicy), for my 3 veggies I get to choose, I chose mushrooms, Brussel sprouts and asparagus. The brussles are so crisp and cooked perfectly and the asparagus is cooked perfect as well, not too crunchy and not soft just the perfect snap when you bite it and the mushrooms are just mushrooms and yummy! Lastly I always get double chipotle ranch to put on top and this makes the whole meal just PERFECTO! They also offer already pre made meals that are frozen. This place is hit or miss depending on what you order. The potatoes, bison, and vegetables are always good. Since chicken is typically marketed as a "cleaner" meat, there is no way I would order it here. The "chicken" seriously looks and tastes like canned chicken. It is very salty and quite gross. Also, just know you're paying a premium for the healthyish option. The portions are very small. Don't even bother with a flatbread as the entire thing is like $12 and the size of your first. The turkey burnt ends are unique. Decent, but it's like eating an entire meal of jerky (taste not the texture - sodium) and you get sick of it quick. read more

This place is so perplexing. It's "clean" in the marketing but nearly everything has wheat, soy, or dairy which are universally understood to be the most inflammatory foods... I was so excited to pick up some frozen dinners for later but wow, there's zero options without gluten, dairy, corn, sugar, or soy. The food at the cafe was sort of like fast food -- bland and not very fresh. The sugar-free BBQ sauce was a win though! Really flavorful and it's so awesome that it was sugar free. I hope that they are helping some people to make better food choices but it wasn't a fit for my family. Would be so grateful for many more actually "clean" food options! read more

My experience with this restaurant may be the worst I've ever experienced for both food and customer service. We ordered food to go here through their online ordering service on 3/22. The food we received was either cold or undercooked or both, dry, lacked flavor, unappetizing to look at let alone taste, and looked nothing like the food advertised in the pictures on their website. One example would be the side of fries. We received 5 fries - I kid you not. When I called to ask about this the employee who answered the phone claimed this was correct and that they weighed the portion of fries. Perhaps this should be listed in the item description since the photo does not match what you actually receive. We took the food back to the restaurant for a refund. We received a partial refund because the receipt we were given did not include the generous tip especially considering it was a to-go order. When we called to get this corrected the manager told us he could not access a transaction matching the amount we were charged and said he would follow up with the owner. We have called back several times and have not received any follow up from anyone at this restaurant. I'm beginning to doubt that this restaurant maintains the appropriate transaction records required by law. Advice to employees and owner: you're in the service industry. Start acting like it. Advice to anyone else reading this: eat elsewhere. You'll get better bang for your buck and not be wasting your time like me still trying to get their mistakes with my order corrected weeks later. read more

This place is awesome. I met Mike the owner the other day. Great guy with a passion for nutrition & food. I picked up 10 meals the other day. I haven't had a meal I didn't like. These guys make it super easy to eat healthy. I work full time & have teenage kids in sports. We get home a 8:00 or later all the time. It's so nice to pop one of these in the microwave vs. buying a burger or something. read more

Really awesome meals for meal prep if you don't like doing it yourself. They have lots of options and really tasty! You can do their weekly meal plan or just pop in and get some from the freezer. We didn't love the meals from the freezer and preferred them from the weekly meal plan. Definitely a great spot to check out! read more

alright, alright, alright I have a recommendation! if you're into meal prep, health, easy meals, please check out Clean Eat in Johnstown! So let me tell you about my experience, so I was hungry and saw there sign and became interested. I walked in and it was confusing. I was confused until the staff greeted me and explained their concept. So basically you walk in and it looks like a cafe but then there's like this freezer like you see at grocery store filled with frozen meals. i wasn't sure if i picked a frozen meal and they heat it up, but then was more confused when i saw there cafe menu. So they explained the freezer was ready to go foods, meals already prepared. but it was like fresh, it looked fresh. anyway, the cafe had a daily special when i went, and tbh it was a bit spicy but still good! I decided to tell my partner and we went back the day later to check there frozen meals, When they also told us they have like a meal week pick up of fresh foods. So think of like hello fresh but without a subscription but fresh prepared food. The prices vary, but my partner and i did enjoy the grab and go meals. so if you're into meal prep, health, easy meals that are fulfilling i would recommend you check them out. read more

i placed our "make your own bowls" order on-line. the ordering process went well, however i found the website a little confusing. the food was prepared on time, and the person behind the counter was courteous and helpful. back home, as i pulled the containers out of the bag, i noticed that my medium bowl and my partner's small bowl were the same size. the amount of food in each bowl seemed the same. (minimal !) as we began to chow down, i found my carrots and asparagus to be dry, tough, under-cooked and tasteless. pineapple salsa was just a couple pieces of pineapple. the amount of rice was minimal. the salmon, epic sauce, zucchini, and tomatoes were unseasoned and bland. my partner found her food equally unimpressive. to sum things up, our meals were definitely not worth the $31.64 we paid. this place definitey gets the "yuck !" award ! you can do better elsewhere ! read more
