Patio
Nicole S.

What a lovely place! Stopped by on a long lunch break to sit in the sun on the patio and was not disappointed! The patio is lovely and has a mini water fountain. The staff was super helpful and kind. They have good gluten free options with gf bread substitutes for breakfast and lunch. I got a tuna salad sandwich with fruit and it was great!

Quesadilla with pork green chile

Some of the best breakfast choices in Fort Collins. They changed owners 1.5 years ago and man what an improvement. The cinnamon roles are AMAZING... the pork green chile is excellent and their omelettes...... perfect. Ps. Service was slow but the staff is friendly and communicated this well and often. As long as expectations are set up front this is less of an issue.

I have seen this cafe many times and heard it was good. Decided to go with a friend for lunch and check it out. She happens to have to use a walker and it was a bit of a challenge to get her to the restaurant side of the building. We did find a ramp on the side where they have retail and knitting studio. You then have to wind your way through a few room to get to the cafe. Lots to look at on the way ! We sat at a nice table by the window and started with a iced coffee cappuccino. They serve breakfast and lunch. Many good choices for either meal. We had a burger w/ grilled onion and mushroom on a sesame bun. Side of fries...... seasoned and crispy! Also, had the Cobb salad with blue cheese dressing. Was a very good, fresh salad with mixed greens and all the good stuff that comes with a Cobb. There were sandwiches, wraps and a yummy sounding quesadilla. To end our meal, we shared the bourbon pecan pie! Oh my! Get a slice :-) Great place for breakfast or lunch . Been around for many years and now I know why!

We originally planned to stay for happy hour, but ended up spending nearly three hours there because we were enjoying ourselves so much. Social is one of those rare places that completely lives up to the hype. From the moment you walk downstairs, the atmosphere transports you to another era. The speakeasy vibe is authentic without feeling gimmicky, and every detail has clearly been thoughtfully designed. It's a super cool speakeasy with a warm, inviting interior that makes you want to settle in and stay awhile. We shared the charcuterie board, which was excellent, and enjoyed both the champagne and the bourbon. Everything was high quality and thoughtfully prepared. Ryan, our bartender, really made the experience special. He treated us exceptionally well, made us feel genuinely welcome, and provided outstanding service throughout the evening. What started as a plan to enjoy happy hour turned into one of the most enjoyable evenings we've had in a long time. It's the perfect place for a date night or simply a relaxing evening with exceptional food, outstanding cocktails, and an atmosphere that's second to none. We'll definitely be back now that we live here in Fort Collins. If you're looking for an unforgettable experience in Fort Collins, Social is an absolute must-visit. Highly recommended!

I don't love cocktails and their food menu is sparse, but if you want to impress a date or treat yourself to tasteful drinking, it's a nice place. Sometimes if you sit at the bar, there are annoying strangers who ask you to explain your thoughts on America's involvement in Iran. My server made sure to back me and my friend up when he started to get defensive. Thank you brother, you are an ally to the lesbian community.

The ambiance is really nice -- I enjoyed the speakeasy-type theme, and the fact that they have a record selection you can ask the bartender to play. These are actual records, with a lot of classics in the mix. The bartender was efficient and friendly, so no issues on staff. Honestly, the restaurant, ambiance, and service were all top notch -- level five. Happy hour cocktails were reasonably priced, and honestly that's the sweet spot here -- come in for nice cocktails at happy hour prices. I also had a couple off their specialty menu; solid drinks, but at $15 a pop they add up fast. I'd suggest getting in early, though crowding didn't seem to be an issue -- it still wasn't busy when we left about an hour and a half after sitting down. My bigger gripe was the food. Loaded tater tots (happy hour) -- fine. The ketchup and ranch that came with them were actually really, really good -- the sauces were the highlight. The tots just needed slightly longer in the fryer. Not undercooked exactly, they just wanted to fall apart and didn't hold up, which made for a messy plate you basically needed a fork or spoon for. Green goddess salad, $15 -- the biggest letdown. We were looking for something lighter since we weren't trying to get full, and on paper this looked really good -- but it didn't deliver. Way too lightly dressed for the arugula, and there wasn't much flavor unless you happened to get a piece of fruit, a piece of cheese, and the arugula all in one bite. It needed crunch -- some candied pecans or another nut would've been really nice -- and just more dressing in general. Too dry, and lacking something. Fifteen dollars for essentially some arugula, and the two of us only got through half of it. Other than that, the experience was pretty solid. Would recommend, and would return.

Many thanks to the kind owner who graciously gave us a tour on Saturday (when they don't normally…read moredo tours) after our flight was super delayed and we couldn't make our Thursday tour we had scheduled online. It was probably one of the best distillery tours I've been on, he was so knowledgeable about spirits in general, you could tell he was passionate about making a quality whiskey. Not only did he talk extensively on whiskey, but all other spirits - vodka, gin, tequila, bourbon v. rye v. irish v. blended whiskey. Why we can't call something "tequila" in the U.S. because it isn't made in Mexico. It was more of a insightful tour of spirits and then talked about his specific distillery. You can tell how much he cares. The spirit tasting at the end was also insightful - taught us how to smell the whiskey, from top to bottom and how it smells different. Compared the un-barreled to the barreled whiskey, it was just a great distillery tour. Thank you! The tasting room is small, and the location is relatively out of the way of most things, but the bartender was very kind and showed us the MANY menus. If there is a piece of advice I'd give, it's condense your menus so it's not so overwhelming. I was also surprised that such a purist has so many sweet drinks on their menu - pudding, girl scout pairings, etc. Maybe just for Easter and holidays? Give this place a try, much better than NOCO distillery.

I thought I had progressed taste bud wise to a whiskey tasting but as it turns out my cool factor isn't there yet. Instead I settled on a whiskey cocktail that was quite delicious. I had wanted a Kentucky mule but they were out of ginger beer which was a shame so I went for a whiskey sour. Their cocktail was a winter version with some spiced simple syrup that while tasty, I would have preferred to not have the cinnamon notes. I ended up passing my flight over to the hubs and our friend and they were most happy indeed. The staff was really nice and definitely into their craft.
