I dropped in, wanted a healthy lunch that wasn't Salata or Sweetgreen. The environment was chill and the woman in the front was friendly and informative once I picked my meal! I got the Korean salmon which is frozen on the wall but they can make something warm from the menu so I do plan on trying that next time and giving an update. I appreciate how the meals are cheaper than I remember meal prep meals are, it was $8 and some change. I enjoyed my meal, it was more filling than some meal prep businesses I've tried with store fronts. For it to be labeled "Korean", I was expecting some more sauce to stand out on the meal but it was overall good and properly filling. I'm pescatarian but I enjoy vegan/vegetarian food. I remember seeing maybe 2 vegetarian options but with limited protein. I think they can do better in that department to diversify their diet options but I can say that for many meal prep places/businesses which is something I think they should work on in the age of health awareness. I've been on my weight loss journey so I stopped by at the end of my Introvert Sunday. I went in thinking I'd get some keto meals for the week and purchase something hot for dinner. I was famished because I'd only had a protein coffee so I was hoping for something tasty. I didn't find any keto meals but there were some low carb meals but not any I'd prefer. I did find one I'd like to try. I decided on the blackened salmon wrap for dinner. The customer service was impeccable. I received a drink while I waited. The ambiance was as expected. No frills just a clean establishment with many frozen prepared meals to choose from and seating to enjoy your hot meal purchase. I decided to take my order to go because I'd been out all day. I can only review the wrap for now. So, when they say Clean Eats they mean it. It was so clean I honestly couldn't taste any blackened seasoning on the salmon. Everything was fresh for sure but I had to doctor it up a bit. It takes some getting used to. I found the prices reasonable though. read more

My first time here and I must say, I wasn't impressed...$17.85 for the Salmon "Poke" Bowl: Quinoa, a bed of kale w/ sliced carrots and edamame which I subbed with mushrooms. The salmon was flavorful but dry. The ponzu sauce that came with the bowl was helpful but it could've used a bit more pizazz, I'm not sure the cucumber is the right fit. The place was pretty quiet and not busy with a few patrons already eating their food. There is a wall of grab and go items but I ordered and it was made to go. Ohh! My bowl came with a drink as well and the lemonade was not lemonading so I mixed it with the other juice and that was just as muddled. Whomp whomp read more

Word of mouth advertising from coworkers took me to Sonterra Boulevard to find Clean Eatz brick-and-mortar location. I'm so glad I did! The store is immaculately clean and warm with bright colors and user-friendly seating. Since this was the first time I had visited, I had a ton of questions for the counter staff. They answered patiently and thoroughly. Here's what I gathered: there's 3 ways to enjoy Clean Eatz meals. 1) The Cafe - a varied menu in which the customer can order a specific items or "create-your-own" bowl. 2) Grab & Go - frozen meals containing a variety of meats, veggies and starches. 3) Meal Plan - meals chosen from a set menu. Customers order online from a menu that changes weekly. Meals are ordered by Sunday for in-store pickup between Monday and Wednesday. Prices vary based on the number of meals ordered. OK, now that that's out of the way, on to the food! I did the create your own. I chose half and half brown rice, and quinoa and kale for the base, with black bean burger for the protein. I chose 3 of the veggies to round it out - edamame, peppers and onions, and spinach (I'm vegan) with sweet chili sauce. I'm glad I listened when I was told the small was a filling size. I took a bit home. The black bean patty was delicious! Excellent texture, flavorful, and crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. All the veggies were cooked perfectly crisp-tender not squishy or slimy. The sweet chili sauce is a winner with just a bit of kick. My better half had a shrimp wrap with a tomato-basil wrap. It was tightly wrapped with a good amount of filling. Everything was fresh and high quality. She also had a Triple Espresso shot protein drink. I was thrilled to learn Clean Eatz offers oat milk and non-dairy whipped topping. It was delicious! In addition to eating in, we went home with several Grab & Go meals for the work week. These meals go from freezer to microwave. They keep in the freezer for up to 6 months. Pictures follow. I highly recommend Clean Eatz. They make it fresh without added salt or sugar. The service is very good. There are several people who will take your order so any line moves very quickly. They offer full meals, quinoa with spinach bowls, smoothies, wraps, and sandwiches. The ambience is clean and plain. There is ample parking, We ordered chicken nuggets with broccoli and the mac & cheese. Mac & cheese used whole wheat noodles, which was a treat: the cheese was so so with a slightly spicy kick. Chicken nuggets were very, very dry (hockey puck). We wished we had ordered something else, though accompanied by steamed broccoli, which was lovely - next time, just order the broccoli. There is a variety of selections including Wild caught salmon, and prepackaged meals in a tiny grocery refrigerator along the side wall which you can take home for the week. No veggies are organic. If you want water, they have an automatic machine, next to impossible to operate. We watched five or six people walk away without water It's an OK place though a big improvement over much of carbohydrate overload, and fatty fare in San Antonio. Bison wrap was phenomenal I will be back wish they had some gluten free wrap options but overall taste was amazing.

This will blow preconceived perception you have of healthier eating. Great flavor. Great service. I got the bang bang shrimp wrap with sweet potato fries. My daughter got the buffalo chicken bacon flatbread with macaroni and cheese. We both loved our food. She's 12 and was very happy. read more

I get all of my meals from here each week, and have for the last four or so months. The food is high-quality and cheap compared to shopping at H‑E‑B; plus there is a sizable amount of time saved in prep, cooking, and cleanup. I would like to see more options of high protein/low carb as this is my diet preference. Sometimes when I arrive there are very little choices to choose from in the high protein/low carb section. The staff at CE is always friendly and personable, and I am usually in an out within a few minutes. More locations around SA would be nice as the drive into, and out of, Stone Oak is always very frustrating because of traffic and construction. Either way, I'll continue to make the weekly trek because I like the food and service. I have seen some difference in my physique since starting a CE diet, but I am not sure if this is because I continue to workout or because of the switch from making my own meals, or both. read more
