Very sweet and attentive service. Answered all our questions. And the food was delicious!! I personally had the Go Vegan Burger...best burger I have EVER had. And that's coming from a previous meat eater! The sauce is amazing. Hubby had the Seitan Wings...again used to be devout meat eater...he was THRILLED! He said they were the best ever and he couldn't tell they were not animal based. Mac & Cheese was for my girls...none left in the container...I would say that's a win. Now...the Kimchi fries. I went on Friday, and they had Friday specials, such as 5 wings for $5 (buffalo, bbq, crispy). I asked for a recommendation and the owner/worker suggested a bbq burger Mac and showed me the Friday specials. I ordered the BBQ burger Mac n Cheese and 5 buffalo wings. The BBQ burger Mac was delicious! The creamy Mac and cheese had melty cheese bits and paired well with the tangy sweet bbq sauce and lightly charred vegan beef. I think it tasted like beyond beef, but I'm not sure The buffalo boneless wings were made of fried breaded pieces of seiten . They were firm on the inside and crispy and saucy on the outside. I really enjoyed the peanut garlic sauce and the tofu was fried very nicely. My SO's favorite was the Chickn 'n' Waffles. The waffles were thin but flavourful. I really appreciate a vegan mac and cheese! It's not creamy like a diary based cheese, but it's totes good and worth it. The tea was also popping and delicious, but a little expensive for tea. I have been eating from this truck since I moved to Texas in October of 2019 and I've never once been dissatisfied with my food. It's always warm, fresh, and delicious! I always order seitan wings with BBQ sauce as my go-to menu item but I have also had the BBQ burger mac, grilled cheese, cheese quesadilla, tostones, & tofu tacos. I ordered the tostones, which are fried plantains (not the sweet yellow ones) The first bite was magical. The tostones were seasoned perfectly, not too salty. And the sauce which comes on the side made it all come together! An explosion of savory and slightly spicy. It reminded me of home, since I'm originally from Puerto Rico. And $5 ??? Not bad at all.
