Pulling up, I have never experienced a long line at this location. Prices are... well... about what you'd expect for a car wash these days. Definitely numbers that I would have cringed at in my earlier years, but if you want to keep your car clean, then what choice do you have, right? To make things a bit more reasonable, I usually opt for the BOGO offer. You have 30 days to use the second wash. Water, soap, suds, more water, and air just about sums up the wash experience. Occasionally all of the drying/vacuuming bays are filled after exiting the wash, but if you wait long enough, then one will undoubtedly open up. I bought gas at Circle K and said yes to a car wash, I did not know it was clean freak. I would not have paid the $11. This business just keeps getting worse and worse. It took three employees to figure out the code from Circle K to get me through the wash, the wash stopped running in between each customer and there was no one there to direct customers onto the rails or to pre-wash your car. Almost no suction on the vacuums at all. If there was any car wash anywhere around with the slightest bit of customer service, this business would be closed so fast your head would spin, it's an abomination. I pay for the premium membership- approximately $27.99 a month- only to be met with no available vacuum spaces every time I go, no prewash sprays because the employees are having side conversations, and a poor washing and drying quality where there were bugs still on my vehicle and large amounts of soap and water on my vehicle post-dry. Also, I pay almost $30 and don't get air fresheners or dash wipes? Lame- Superstar does a way better job. Worst automatic car wash I have been to. My vehicle is ceramic coated. Most times a pressure washer will clean it. Even with the brushes and sprayers it came out dirty. Not just a couple nooks and crannies. The whole driver and passenger door panels were dirty. When I asked about running it back through they gave me a hard time about it. Suggesting that I should have bought the more expensive wash. If the basic wash won't clean your car they shouldn't even offer it. Maybe this is how they sell unlimited washes? read more

First of all they were out of dry towels and this is not the first time. Seems like they don't have enough employees ever since Circle K has taken over. I mentioned to the office and spoke with the "manager" who did get on it. When he delivered the towels I pointed out that the air pressure sprayers in the stalls were not working and asking when they were planning to fix that and the 2 stalls that have had vacuums broken for at least 3 weeks. His response was , "well when you watch as many cars as we do, it takes a lot of maintenance." That's no excuse for not fixing, in fact that just means to me they are making money hand over fist with that many customers and it should be fixed daily if not weekly as needed. I'm sorry to have to downgrade my review here. I visited recently and was very disappointed. My car did not seem to get all that clean. I'd liken it more to the car just getting rinsed off. (I noticed this the last few times too.) Granted, I do just buy the basic wash but it costs a good $10 so I expect more than that. I see the soap suds and brushes so I'm unsure why my car doesn't look very clean after. One of the reasons I even go to a car wash is for the free vacuums. Although the staff member was very helpful, no one is ever available to answer questions about billing. Ours membership suddenly went up substantially without warning. Also, had an extra unknown $9.99 charge on a recent visit. I was unable to leave a voice message (voicemail box is full), so I visited the site. No one to talk to about these surprise charges. I joined this service two weeks ago and immediately noticed the back of my truck bed and tailgate weren't being cleaned. I even removed my receiver hitch to rule out any blockage, but the issue continued. When I brought it to management, they shrugged it off and offered no explanation or solution. That kind of customer service is unacceptable. I shouldn't have to pay for a service that isn't being performed, and I'm requesting a refund. I cannot believe that someone can own a business and not make any improvements when they are needed. Aside from the carwash dryer, still not really drying, and the vacuums not working at all today, there's the issue of the HUGE potholes. When exiting the carwash today, I tried to avoid the crater but I still hit it and it knocked down my phone holder and my drink spilled out (luckily it was just water). And I knew it was there so I drove off with caution! That's just one of many potholes. How difficult is it to have these huge holes filled? Even if it's the responsibility of the landlord or the city, it needs to be addressed. Take it upon yourself to fill it with cement, sand, anything.... ! These GD potholes have been there for YEARS! I can see that the one, closer to McDowell, has been filled, half-ass'd. I can only imagine what the owners home looks like if they can't take care of their business. Just a matter of time before someone rolls their ankle and files a lawsuit.... It's simple neglect. The owner knows they have crater size holes all over, and that they're causing some damage to their customers tires, rims, alignment, and more! I went through for a basic clean (think it's called the Classic Clean for $10) just because my car really needed it, but figured I'd go through again in a week or so to really clean it. Got stopped by a staff member before pulling through and he told me if my car wasn't clean after this wash to swing back through! I went to the vacuums after to do a quick clean of the inside and he found me again, pointed out some of their cleaning tools to help get all the gunk off my car, and made sure I ran it through again (free of charge)! Washer's beware!! 1/2/23 I took my car through the car wash and both my windshield and my rear window were broken midway through the wash, completely shattering my rear window and flooding my car with water. Initially, the staff was extremely courteous and helpful, promised up to a year of free car washes plus repayment of damages. However, a day later, I was informed that they were going to do nothing to compensate me for either window that was broken and would sue me for defamation of character if I posted a review about my interaction with them. I have been a subscription member for several years now for two years. For the past several weeks, the right side brushes are not working and the attendants told me that management is aware and DOES NOT want to fix the machine. There is NO notice to the public that they will be paying for a full wash but only receiving half of the wash. THIS IS THEFT OF SERVICES. The attendants were helpful, but you could tell they are demoralized because of the many complaints that they have been receiving from patrons. This is the worst performing car wash I have ever used. First time I went through I got a wash and pulled into the vacuum bay and noticed that the front of the car was not touched. I complained and was told that I need to pull into a vacuum bay first and pre scrub the front with one of their provided scrub brushes then go through the wash. So I scrubbed the front of the car down and took it back through. Second time I went through and came out of the wash there was a line for the vacuum bays so I drove on home. took my minivan in and purchased the $20 wash. after the wash I pulled into a stall to vacuum and saw the whole back side of my van was basically untouched. I asked someone in the office and he gave me some kind of bs about old people get scared in the car wash if they don't turn things down....I needed to pre wash....that's why they offer towel service......the roof racks were up....so he prewashed it, I put the roof racks down and he sent me through again and it took a little bit more dirt off but it was still very dirty. it was not caked in mud, it was loose dirt from driving on a dry dirt road. My car is NEVER clean after I go through and don't get me wrong, I understand this is not a detailed car wash, but my car is still covered in black dirt spots. Why did I pay $20 to sit in line for 30+ minutes & the actual car wash (entirely lacking) took less than 5 minutes, with 0 stalls open for vacuums after exiting the wash? This was a decent waste of my lunch break, and also cost me what one of the $3 flat fee car washes would have done WAY better. $20... then shoved into the mix of vehicles trying to enter, left & right. I waited in line for 15+ minutes. From the time I entered the wash to the time I exited (dreadfully close to the nice, Acura SUV bumper just ahead of me, making it anxiety ridden) time lapse was 2:23. As in- I don't believe the full list of TEN amenities were actually included in that 2:23 quick spray, blow & go. It's a total rip-off. No matter what price you pay, the wash is always the "median". If you paid for the cheap rinse, you suddenly feel their "mistake" is a benefit... but you notice when you pay $20+ & end up with the equivalent of the bare basic less than $10 soap/rinse with a little of the foam thrown on. I appreciated the employee help guiding vehicles in to the wash- but that also told me it's a frequent issue if someone has to manually babysit an automated production line. Seems like the lot space is too small for the function trying to be run at this location. Everything is cramped & slow. There is no reason for me to come back and I won't recommend it, either. I didn't get a good wash for the $20 paid. The wait time was way too long. There were not enough vacuum's to accommodate the demand. The facility itself was too small for the establishment's purpose & the existing grounds were sloppy/dirty. It was evident no one had emptied trash, picked up used rags or anything along the lines of organized. I feel like Chevron across the street could have done better without advertising their great awards/ratings then not living up to any of it. Because the signs plastered to the fence about AZ Central & other entities rewarding them stare you in the face during the lengthy line to wash. Read some bad reviews on this car wash but decided to try it anyway since it was so convenient to where I was staying. . I am very glad I did. The wash was as good as any drive through, but my wheels, which had a lot of road grime on them did not come clean. I talked to one of the attendants and he was more then happy to spray and wipe them down. He did a very good job on them . The price was not bad for the overall wash but they had many specials that if I lived here I would definitely take advantage of and make it my regular car wash. I have to say that I'm very surprised at the reviews of this clean freak location. I have been to other clean freak locations. I feel that this is probably the best one I've ever been to. The staff here are really great! And there's a few people in particular that are incredibly outstanding. But, The staff here are really good. But, that being said I've never had a rude person or someone who wasn't very helpful. It's always clean and neat here. The water is hard in this part of Arizona so it will leave water spots. When you come through the drive-through. You just have to make sure that you have a towel and can dry your car so it won't leave water spots. Clean freak provides covered parking with complementary vacuums and an air sprayer to get water out of the bits and pieces that tend to collect water. If you do get a membership, they do charge a credit card once a month. However they give you a receipt with an address that you can email and cancel your membership. I sold the car that I had my membership with. And they just transferred it to my new car. They were very kind about it and so awesome. Yes, I find the membership is worth it. You can go to any clean freak anywhere and use your membership. You can get your car washed every day if you want to. You can even get it done twice a day if you want to. I guess it's not for everybody. But, since it hasn't rained in this part of Arizona more than two days for the year. Getting your car washed often is very handy to keep it looking nice. read more

We bought a family pass a year ago and 6 months ago we lost the pass, well I went down there to get a new and they told me they don't do family passes, so I came back the next day to ask again and this time they told me we don't have an account. So we get charged every month for 35 and finally my husband goes down there they give him a gift card a a sticky note saying we can use this for the rest of the month since we paid for this month + the last 6 months. The dryer is terrible and I end up drying my car each time, lately I just end up with spots and my car is still dirty.

This is a short wash and rarely gets all the bugs or easy stuff off your car. Disappointed with the wash itself. It's just sub-par. Same or less price for a better wash is down the street on Power. Vacuuming- first bay I pulled into the vacuum couldn't suck up a small pebble. If it were busy, you would have a hard time finding a better vacuum. Bays are tight to share with a neighbor. Kayla and her partner Always Smile, Professional, Helpful and care that customers have a Pleasant experience while washing our vehicles.
