I really really want to do five stars because it's allegedly organic and that's really important However, for the price, honestly, go if you're really hungry and there's really no better options but the bowls I make at home on much better. It's a bit flavorless and there's not enough granola or crunchy bits for all the icy green stuff. Also, they don't take cash which is insane and seem very reliant on their app and technology, perhaps moreso than actually interacting with customers. I haven't been here in awhile but like the organic healthy smoothies semi regularly. This time though there's no cashier and only 1 person working. You must put your order in on a screen in front of the cash register. I found it somewhat not user friendly. I came to Clean Juice early on a Saturday morning for a light breakfast. I was pretty disappointed with the avocado toast. It was really just some lightly toasted bread and some barley smashed avocado with too few pepper flakes and honey on it. Not flavorful at all, I didn't finish it despite how small of a portion it was. Also the smoothie wasn't fully blended and had some chunks in it, so it wasn't very enjoyable. The smoothies and food here are excellent! I think you may be able to "get healthy" just by standing next to the store the food is so fresh. First time visiting, we got two smoothies, two hot sandwiches and two bottled juices to go and $73 later...... I love it here as everything tastes really fresh and I will definitely go back. However, I could have had a filet mignon dinner for 2 for just a little more so I'm not pleased with the cost. But the sandwiches were excellent and the smoothies were fresh. This is my first time trying clean juice and açaí bowls in general and I'm still feeling kinda "eh" about it. It's not something that I would see myself crave for. What I enjoyed the most was the granola and banana mixture. The strawberries were very sour. I was disappointed in the way they blended my açaí bowl. There was still frozen strawberries. In my opinion the bowl was very flavorless. There's nothing sweet about it. Maybe adding a little more sugar would satisfy my taste buds. I enjoyed the interior ambiance of clean juice. Employees were kind. Service was relatively quick as well. Overall, it's a healthy choice for a breakfast or snack. Although, $10 for a bowl is slightly expensive for me. read more

I always loved Clean Juice but this visit was disappointing. I wasn't sure if the store was still open because most of the lights were off at 5:53pm and it closes at 6pm. I though i had made it just in time. I walked in and ordered a beach bowl, neither of the employees were friendly. No smiles and it seems as if they were both cursing me in their heads. The girl working made my beach bowl and the young man rang me up at the register, I couldn't use my reward points because he said the system is down (I miss the punch cards from the beginning of CJ). My beach bowl was barely half full after she scraped every ounce of acai smoothie out of the blender. She put a hefty scoop of granola and coconut on top to try and mask the small portion she accidentally made. Then she almost put fresh pinepple on top but the shift leader directed her to use some sad looking pinapple in a different container which was most likely going to be thrown away in the morning because it looked like it was on the verge of expiring. With all of the topping on the bowl it was filled up about 75% of the way. Still no smiles from either employees. I looked at my cell phone clock when I got in the car and it was 6pm. Needless to say I love the Clean Juice brand and what they stand for but when you are paying $10 for a bowl every experience should be pleasant and this one was much less than so. read more

I've been a Clean Juice fan for years ever since they opened their first location in Birkdale. But sorry this is probably the worst location. We got a double one smoothie and a green bowl. The green bowl was literally green ice water. I was chewing up ice and was charged $2 for gluten free corn flakes on top that they call granola. Bowls at other locations have always been super good, but it was really disappointing to pay almost $12 for spinach blended with ice, a splash of almond milk, no honey on top (they forgot it) and some corn flakes. I've tried to give this location another chance multiple times and it's consistently disappointing. One time I came here and they had to remake my smoothie three times before it was even given to me. Love clean juice but not sure what's up with this location. Won't be back. read more

I come here weekly and I'm consistently happy with the product and the service from the individuals working at this location. The only thing that I don't understand is why the utensils are handle down in the storage containers, it forces the customer to pull the spoon out not by the handle but by the spoon head, and all I can think about is all the hands that reach in day in and day out touching all the spoon heads...anyway minor detail, still 5 stars. read more

The young lady working acted like she had very little training. When the manager came out to help they made three customer's orders after mine, left my bowl on the counter to melt and then told me they were out of the toppings for which I had already paid. Two phone orders were made and then finally got back to my melted, no topping $14 (with tip) bowl. Although Clean Juice is organic, the quantity and quality is just not there. They have lost my business. I went there a couple days ago and ordered an avocado toast. When I got home to feed it to my children, they had spread brown avocado across the toast when I called to let them know what happened the lady said on the phone " what would you like me to do?" Then when I asked for a refund, I was told that I was gonna have to wait till the afternoon for it to happen and then it would take about three days to hit my account which is fine, but I felt she was irritated. Then I come today and I order a smoothie for my son, which I always do And him and I agreed that it tasted a little strange so when I went back to let the employee know that it tasted a little strange remark was " Well I made it the way it was supposed to be made." Telling me that I'm wrong and that it doesn't matter if it tastes strange because she made it right and there's nothing that can be done. We get Clean Juice in Huntersville all the time and they have excellent customer service, and all of their employees are amazing. I will never come to the Mooresville location again. read more

UPDATE- I think they have worked hard on smoothing out the process. They've got new employees and it seems to be working much better! I really like this store. I love their blends and the atmosphere. The employees are nice. I just think they have not yet worked out all the kinks of a new business. My daughter and I went in and ordered yesterday, another man came in right behind us. It took her so long to take our order, that he left without ordering. At the end of taking our order, another new customer came in, and her order was taken. Shortly thereafter, three additional folks came in, their orders were taken, and meanwhile, the preparation of our orders had not even started. It took about 15 minutes to get our drinks. The manager finally came out and began preparing drinks. In my opinion, it should be normal practice that two employees are working upfront when customers are there, one to take the order and oneto prepare the beverage. read more

I like Clean Juice and what it stands for and I hate complaining; however, i ordered a 16oz juice and it came with 8oz of ice. So I should have been charged $4 instead of $8. I'll keep going back, but I'll ask for no ice. I recommend either providing a larger cup or have it less expensive, and add the ability to specify notes on the mobile orders. Best Clean Juice experience at Mooresville location. I have been to the birkdale "flagship" location several times. Besides the waiting, the orders have not been correct on several occasions. It is frustrating when paying the high price of organic products and not getting what you ordered. When I shop in Mooresville, this location is a must do experience. When I moved down to North Carolina three months ago, I fell in love with Clean Juice. I always went to the one in Davidson, which is always fast, efficient and super friendly. Since I now work in Mooresville, I tend to visit this one more often. My main problem with this Mooresville location is the wait time and the sometimes non-inviting staff. There is usually only one person making all the orders, which isn't really fair to them especially when it is busy. And with only having one person preparing the drinks and food, errors are bound to happen without proper guidance and clarification. I have ordered an avocado toast, more than half a dozen times, and there is never any avocado on it! The other day I went and ordered it, once again giving the place the benefit of the doubt, and the very minute amount of avocado that was on it was VERY overripe and I had to scrape it off because it was so hard. If I am paying around 5-6 dollars for avocado toast, I'm expecting a fair amount piled on the tiny pieces of toast. These little things don't turn me off from Clean Juice as a company, but the Mooresville location I will no longer go to as of yesterday. The staff really needs to tighten up, because this is not a problem at the Davidson location or several others I have been to. read more

I was really excited to see this new franchise location in Mooresville. I received a promotional flyer in the mail announcing their grand opening day. I decided to check out the location but soon realized that everyone else in Mooresville had the same idea! The store was packed and the line was out the door but decided to order Acai bowl anyway. The promotional flyer announced prizes, raffles and free samples yet it wasn't obvious where any of these items were in the store. The store was well staffed but the wait was long to get my purchase. I got the Berry Acai Bowl. I had to ask someone the status of my order only to find out they had made a mistake and were making my bowl for a second time. They apologized for this error and I chalked it up to the grand opening day frenzy. I am gluten intolerant and asked for gluten free granola which they accommodated. The Acai bowl was very good but the gluten free granola was tasteless. It was not granola but some kind of gluten free oat flakes. I would order this Acai bowl again but I would skip the gluten free granola. I would love to see them check other sources for gluten free granola for their products. The experience was good but not great so I decided to give them a second chance mid-week. The store had a number of flyers promoting their on-line ordering system. I thought this would be a good way to avoid the long lines and time needed to prepare an item. I went to their website and selected the page for the Mooresville store. I attempted to place an order but the store location is not currently set up for on-line ordering. This was a disappointment. I decided to see if I could swing by to quickly pick up something but the line during the week was as long as the grand opening day. I will probably try them again at some point in the future when the operating issues have been worked out and the lines are shorter. read more
