I felt the prices were a little high, but again was happy to support local business, fresh items, and an overall relatively healthy meal! Clean juice is my jam. Matter of fact, I would've never tried clean juice had it not been for Yelp. I frequent the East Nashville location, but I was in green hills and noticed they had one. So I stopped in. Of course, the place is clean, bright, and so pretty. I think that's the theme in all of them. It's so welcoming. The two employees were nice. I didn't know what I wanted so I took a minute to decide. The bathroom is gorgeous and clean as well. I ordered one of the açaí bowls because I'm a creature of habit. I did try a different flavor though. Love the açaí bowls; they're so filling and flavorful. I can't wait to stop in the next time in town. read more

Clean Juice is a very cute juice shop in Green Hills! The store was very clean, and there was plenty of seating inside. Two ladies working the counter were very kind to help me decide which juice to get. I was wanting something to fight off a cold I was getting. I ended up getting the Immune Booster shot and the Magos & Cream smoothie with extra Turmeric. The smoothie tastes great! Nice people and decent tasting smoothies but they short-changed us on the amount of added-on ingredients. The staff member still had half of my smoothie left in the blender after pouring into the cup which was disappointing especially considering I paid extra for add-ons that may still be in that blender. There are a gajillion juice places in Nashville nowadays, and I'm happy about that! I like an expensive juice as much as the next gullible millenial with throwaway money. So since I have my pick, I won't be going back to Clean Juice. The cups have Bible citations on them, there's a "prayer requests" jar--details like these signal to customers that Christianity guides the company's business practices. Some customers will appreciate this; others, like me, will not, which is why I am leaving this review. We are all lucky to live in a place where we can choose whether to engage with religion and religious spaces, and in the future I will choose not to engage by deliberately avoiding Clean Juice. P.S. My juice was just fine. Items seemed to run a little higher price-wise when compared to other juice places around. read more

Organic doesn't give you an excuse to overcharge for hilariously small portions and not season anything? This is the avocado toast in a box 3x it's size. Also-maybe it's always like this-but you get a mouthful of pepper flakes with every bite. I get that it looks cute but someone has to now eat this $7 food. Also, just didn't taste good. I waited for my daughter's order for 45 minutes and politely asked for it 3-4 times and was told in a rude way that it was being made right then. after many, many polite questions, one of the employees found the smoothie underneath the cabinet and just handed it to me without saying I'm sorry or anything at all. I'm so disappointed to be writing a bad review but it was one thing after another. It's not about the food, the food is always incredible- it's about the employee. Brandy was so terribly rude to me. Perhaps she's feeling under the weather as she was coughing a lot and must have been overwhelmed. She said (after I paid) that the wait would be 15 min even though I was the only one in the store. She must have had online orders before me but I mentioned I wished she would have informed me prior and she said there was a sign. I looked everywhere and there wasn't a sign. ‍ someone came out of the back room and it didn't end up taking 15 min so it's whatever. But yeah- I won't be back for a while. I love the mission and message and overall I like their menu options. There is just a major lack of consistency. Every time I order it NEVER comes out like the time before. I get the same açaí bowl every time, and not once has it had the same toppings on it from the time before, and only once did it have the toppings that were listed on the menu. Just started getting avocado toast and last time, there wasn't much oil or red pepper flakes on it and this time it is DROWNING in it.
