    Pur Laundry - Washing machines

TLDR: top tier laundering with soft water washes best for bulky or delicate items, or higher end…read moreclothes. Can get pricey but you get what you pay for and this place delivers. Long: If you have bulky/big items like comforters/bed clothes, washable carpets or if you have lots of items like banquet tablecloths this is THE place to bring them, hands down and no competition. It's 5 stars in this regard. They got giant high efficiency machines that will handle the bulk without issue and properly launder these items without risk of ruin. The soft water and shorter cycles are perfect if you have higher end clothes that can easily get destroyed or worn by harsher washes. Think church or work clothes or evening attire/club wear. It's pricier but worth it to extend the life of your more expensive clothes. This place is immaculate and managed by a tireless, hard working manager named Tasha who is kind, friendly, and helpful. You feel like she genuinely cares. She walks you through how best to use the machines and makes recommendations for your laundry goals. There are a couple reasons I'm rating this a 4 and not a 5, and they're not going to be deal breakers for most. If you're short statured like me and have short arms and legs, the washers and top dryers can be a challenge to use. It's hard to put the soap in (on top of the washers) and where to put soap etc is not well labeled or obvious in the absence of explanation. Also, while the soft water is truly excellent for delicate items or items that require extra or special care, it's not super great for tough soils on regular non fancy clothes. Your clothes will be soft and technically be clean but they might not look gleaming clean, even if you pretreat the soils. This isn't the cheapest wash either. Pay attention the laundry basket logo where it says Washer Capacity. Baskets = loads=$$. If you get here at a busy time then the small washers are all gonna be full. If you decide to use one of the 6 laundry basket machines then know that's gonna be an expensive wash. Make sure you can fill to capacity so you're not paying $12.95 for a two load wash. All that said, it's a great laundromat especially if you have nice stuff you want to protect. I recommend.

This was a great experience given I've not been to a laundry room in years…read more This was clean, bright. Plenty of machines and help if you need it.

I really don't know where to start. We were out of our home for 7 months due to smoke-no flames,…read moreno fire in walls etc. When we returned to our house our nightmare began. First I had 4 VERY expensive pieces of clothing completely ruined. I had a merino wool jacket washed and dried. It would not fit a 10 year. old now. When I complained I was actually told that they had an employee that did not look at labels-just threw everything in the washer and dryer. Until fall of 2023 we lived in AZ so this jacket was worn at the most 4 times. It was $338. FRSTeam is giving me about 1/2 that amount. The other 3 pieces ruined by same method-dry clean only was washed and dried. My Crate & Barrel dining table did not have a scratch on it and was returned with about a 4 inch long and 1/8 inch deep gouge. It hs been me and my husband for almost 30 years and we take care of our things. FRSTeam took it back to their "master" furniture repairman. When they brought it back it looked pretty good until the light hit it. You can see where the "master" sanded the table down in the area of the gouge and when he refinished it ,he painted the finish on so that 1/4 section of the table is shiny, shows brush scratches. My dresser likewise did not have a single scratch and was returned with an inch wide chip out of it. Daily I am finding more furniture problems. Today I found an antique art deco wardrobe a big chip out of the front of it. Bekins Moving moved all our furniture from AZ to Idaho without a single scratch. These are only a few of scratches and gouges we have seen. When talking to the CEO about compensation for my 4 pieces of clothing she said for me to tell what I needed in compensation. What I asked for was only about $400 higher than what they offered me but a couple of days later I got a check from them for the $1200 they had originally offered. I was also told by the owner that she has spent way too much time on this-Uh--that is her responsibility and job. She also told me that accidents happen-then I have had more than my share of "accidents" rather carelessness and disregard for people's belongings. We are retired and bought these things when we both were working. They are items we cannot afford to buy in retirement. They are also items that cannot be replaced. My 4 pieces of clothing are no longer available as is our dining table, antique wardrobe, and bedroom set. It is odd that Bekins was able to move all of these things over 1500 miles with no "accidents". The owners lack of concern and her apathy is appalling. When they were ready to return my 2 pieces of furniture after the "master" had "fixed" them, I got a call from a woman at their corporate office and was told that I had to agree to the compensation for my clothing before they would return my furniture. Yes, holding my furniture hostage over $400. All of that being said, the workers are very nice people. The management is the problem. Had I read reviews before this company was hired I would have told my insurance company to go with another company. If you have such a situation, go with Belfor in Spokane. They do restoration as well. They were our contractor and they are great. What a nightmare.
