I called back a week later after the dog was successfully adopted and set up the appointment for the floor treatment and rug shampoo special for 3 rugs. The team was able to come the next day and got to work with their black light to find the problem urine areas. They were fast, efficient and friendly and I'm thrilled with the result! They even identified urine on the bottom of a cat stand and cleaned it for me..... I would not have noticed that problem area. I called to set an appointment and to my surprise, I was able to get a Saturday time. Great! The receptionist, Amy, stated that we'd have 2 people out here and it would be around 2 hours for the appointment. They don't use soap or chemicals, so that was a plus. How much? It would be $0.40/sq ft. Yikes! We have around 1,500 sq ft of carpet, so $600 plus $40/gallon for pretreat or sanitizer. I could almost put in new carpet at that rate, so I excluded 2 rooms and a closet. Saturday is here. Only 1 guy showed up. This worried me since we do have a big house. He measured and I told him to exclude the rooms to keep us at $500. He started and about 1.5 hours in, his engine goes out... and on and off again. He was noticeably upset and I'm sure everyone knew outside because they could hear him. No one came out to help him. After all was said and done, he finally finished.... almost 5 hours later!!! He got here at 8:45, left at 1:30. Not how I wanted to spend my Saturday. So, were the carpets clean. Yes. Stains gone, yes. Dry fast, yes... so why the 3 stars? The carpet was a little crunchy, but I expected that. What I didn't expect is that there were spots on my fireplace, furniture legs, hard wood, etc. There was even a scuff mark on our wall. For $500, clean up after yourself please. Deduct 1 star. The last star... I waited Monday for the owner or someone to call to apologize for being there so long or at least ask how the service was since we were new customers. Nothing... so I called Tuesday. I spoke to Amy again and she knew everything that happened, so someone I thought should have called. She seemed concerned and said she'd let Kevin, the owner know, that I was upset. Three weeks has passed for the owner to contact me and to discuss and no call. Deduct 1 star for customer service. I understand things happen, but it's the communication and follow up that keep customers. They failed. So, is it worth $0.40/sq ft... I'd say no when you can get other cleaners in here for less and do a comparable job. $500+ for a cleaning is too much for the experience we had. I will not use them again.

It appears that the tech left his scrubber on the carpet and it soaked through to the pad. I called about it and the owner came to look and swore up and down it was dog pee, but only after asking if dogs had been in the house. They had, but not since the carpets were cleaned. It was obvious to me that this 10 year-old carpet was toast and the owner didn't want to pony up for replacing it. He did some lame oxy treatment to it and there was no difference. Three years later, we're replacing the carpet and wouldn't you know, huge stains on the subfloor with the same lemony smell. Definitely not dog pee. These guys either need to train their techs better or own up to their mistakes and not pass off a huge foul up on a 10-pound dog.
