Firstly, the customer service from Allen and his workers was impeccable. They were on time, respectful and did a extremely thorough job. I have a commerical building that had the vinyl tiles pulled up but the concrete underneath was laden with mastic and glue. It would stick to your shoes, and it rendered the flooring uneven. Personally tried with several tools but it was too much and machines to rent were quite overpriced or were not equipped. Instead I decided to hire cleansite. Allen came out and explained the entire process and how I could not only get things clean, but further advised and made very clear and concise of the further phases beyond the mastic removal to resurfacing floor as to this being a floor where customers will walk to include safety measures and implications. Allen emphasized doing the work right and did not withhold any information for his sake or for my sake. His genuine outlook enabled me to realize more for my own business sake as well as for my building further in the correct way, probably saving me time, money and headache. Clean Site was recommended by our contractor to remove the existing tile on the shower floor and walls in the guest bathroom that we wanted to remodel. We hired Clean Site to come and remove the floor that nobody else could. This floor had way too much glue and we spent so much time and money trying to do it ourselves and hiring handymen. I called them and they were very prompt with responding and he came out to inspect prior to commitment and let me know exactly what would be done. The machines they use cannot be rented in your average Home Depot or rental place. The machines are the industrial grade and the only thing that can do the job. I had a wood laminate floor that was glued to concrete. I tried to remove it myself...no luck. I called a floor guy and he refused to take the job. I then rented a chisel hammer from Home Depot and it did not work. Clean site came out within a couple days and were able to remove the floor. The job was done professionally. Site was protected and there was no damage to the site. They worked efficiently and got all the floor up... I would highly recommend them. read more

Beware this company does a bait and switch on you. Their sales rep Allen Annane came and looked at our flooring job. They than called me to discuss and said the job would be $5,900 (and I had the call on speaker so others could hear it as well). They couldn't meet my timeline so I juggled the other vendors schedules to meet their schedule. After agreeing to a deposit amount and calendar date I asked for a contract to be sent to me. He did not send it. So the next day I requested it again. He than said he wanted to meet with me in person. At that time he mentioned that it was possible his bid would not include everything (basically if they ran into any issues he may charge more). I asked how much more and couldn't get an answer out of him but he made it sound like not a big deal. Something didn't feel right so I followed up and kept pushing for an answer. Finally he admitted that his "extras" that he had not included in the original $5,900 bid would increase the price to approximately $11,785. Had I not forced this information out of him I would have expected the job to cost $5,900 or at least close to that number. His price doubled so he did not give me an honest bid originally. I let him know I felt like he bait and switched me. He said he would have his boss call me and I agreed to have his boss call me instead of giving a review. I followed up again today asking why I have not received a call from his boss. He did not reply. I would suggest if you do business with this company that you push hard like I did to find out what the real cost is and that you get it in writing with the owner's signature so you don't get a big surprise when the cost is double what you quoted. Unfortunately I let other companies that had bid the job know I was going to use Clean Site so my flooring is now going to have to be postponed until I can get on a different vendors calendar which will mean I will not be able to move in the timeline I need to. Very disappointing they didn't just give me a real bid up front so I wouldn't have wasted my time. I don't like giving bad reviews and am still willing to discuss this matter with the owner still if he/she calls me. I would like them to understand what their sales staff is doing so they can provide additional training or change their policies. read more

First of all, don't accept unless you get a flat rate for removal. It ended up being $2000 more than the quote. He said it was a difficult removal, but it didn't take him more than the amount of days he had allotted, less in fact. My bad that I didn't read the contract, because at the large price he quoted to begin with you would think the dumpster would be included. It is not. In fact, in my neighborhood you have to get approval and put down a deposit. He had to spend some time on the phone with them and made it quite clear that he was not happy about that. That was late afternoon and we said we would take care of it in the morning. Instead of waiting for us to do that, he brought a trailer over and then wanted to charge us $500 for that, even though we had the dumpster there by 1:00 the next day. It was overall a very unpleasant experience. He left tile anywhere from 3-6 inches away from the cabinets, which is what he said he would do. There was also tile completely underneath where the stove sits in the kitchen. They guy who was putting in new hardwood came over and had the tile out really quickly. Didn't look like it was quite so hard as he claimed. After looking at what Clean Site did he asked me what I paid. I asked him first what he would have charged and it was HALF of what I was charged. I found a review, after the fact, that this happened to that reviewer also. I would shop around and find someone to do it for a flat rate and no bad surprises later. Learn from my mistake. read more

Our construction company hired Cleansite to remove approx 1500 square feet of glued down hardwood and thin set marble tile floors. They came in, covered items, masked, removed baseboards and very carefully removed all of the flooring and left us with a smooth clean site, just as their name suggests. All debris was hauled. They are very good at what they do. The operator of their heavy floor chipper really knows what he's doing. We are very happy with the results and would not hesitate to use them again. read more

Clean Site Floor Removal Services was very efficient at removing our 10 year old travertine flooring that was set to a cement foundation. Their machine removed the tile very effectively and was able to scrape a good amount of the thin set off. We needed some extra grinding and sanding done to get the floor prepped properly and the Project Manager, Allen, worked with us on to have that done to meet our tight timeline. We needed the ceramic tile in our large entry removed. Clean Site was referred by our flooring company, and they did a fantastic job! The price was about the same as another quote we received, they were flexible with our schedule, and they showed up right on time. Due to our house being on a hill, with steep steps and driveway, they weren't able to use their cool machine. They tried, though, and didn't try to charge us for any extra time. They set things up to keep the dust out of the rest of the house, did the job with a hand-held tool instead of the ride-on, worked quickly and efficiently, and left things clean and tidy.
