Explained the entire process step-by-step and then did really high quality work. Our grout and caulking looks like new and all soap scum was completely removed from the tiles. SRS just restored 22 year old Travertine at my establishment. They know what they are doing and were on time and efficient. The Travertine flooring was never properly finished having lots of pits and dark areas. They deep cleaned and used a Traverfill material that matched the stone very well. I'm back to post another glowing review of SRS. After the great job they did restoring the tile in my shower, I hired them to clean and restore all the tile floors in my home (about 1500 sq ft.) The grout was dirty and discolored and missing in a couple of spots. Sam and Josh worked for about 7 hours (Kyle came and helped for the last hour.) My floors look like the day I moved in 20 years ago. They actually brighten the house-they're so clean and sparkly! Sam and Josh even helped move back some of the heavy furniture. Found through Yelp, supposed to have my shower grout all replaced, when I returned I found my sink was clogged with some grout and I let the shower dry for weeks (plenty longer than needed) before using it. Not long after the grout worn off to its previous appearance, which defeated the whole purpose of me re-grouting. Was not worth the $800. read more

We had a kitchen countertop that had large chunks of deteriorated grout and a cast iron kitchen sink that was scratched and stained. Kyle came out to the house and explained the methods needed for resurfacing the bad areas and left a very clear and detailed estimate for the work to be done. When Josh and Sam came out to do the work they were on time, put down protection materials for the kitchen, and got right to work. The old damaged/aged grout was removed, the grout that was still in good condition was cleaned. The grout was then given a treatment of stain and sealant. The sink we were thinking we had to replace soon was also cleaned and looked (not new, but) great compared to how it had appeared. They removed the old sealant around the sink and put in new. My husband and I are extremely pleased to write a review for Simply Restored Surfaces. One of their competitors tried to convince me that tile restoration is not possible, and the other one canceled their appointment due to an "emergency" and never called me back to reschedule. Kyle, from Simply Restored Surfaces, came to our house in a very timely manner and gave us an estimate. He presented as pleasant and knowledgeable, and we arranged for him to re-do the grout on our kitchen counters. The workmen who came to our house, Sam and Joshua, were on time, pleasant and friendly, and very efficient, and they completed the job in a day and a half. The counters look amazing, and their work was so good that we asked them back to refurbish the tile on our master bathroom floor and upstairs half bath floor. When I noticed a streak and some remaining dark spots on the master bath floor, Kyle set up an appointment immediately to come out and fix these problems. Not only did he take care of the identified problems, he also looked at the entire floor and cleaned up a few more spots that I had thought were too picky to mention. It took 2 + days due to unforeseen developments, which they took full ownership of, however, issues with strip jobs are to be expected. Contacted Kyle to re-do my parents kitchen tile grout as a present to them. My parents moved in to the house in 1999 and it hadn't been redone at least since they moved in, who knows how long it had been, but safe to say at least 20 years. The grout was supposed to be white/cream it was all dark grey and even black in places from years of wear. The results Kyle and his team were able to accomplish are really amazing. The kitchen is so bright and the tile looks brand new even though the only thing new is the grout. Price was really affordable.
