I went to pick up the bracelet and I didn't get my old clasp back. The staff acted like I was insane for wanting my gold clasp back and told me it was "baked into the price". I was told over a week ago they would try to get it back for me though it was likely "destroyed" by the jeweler but haven't heard a word from them. I've never had jewelry repaired or replaced before and not received my original items back. The ring I brought in for a quote and was a family heirloom. Due to a miscommunication, the jeweler did the work without getting my approval, not understanding I only wanted a quote at the moment. When the store called me to tell me what happened they told me it would be over $600. When I declined to pay that as I only wanted a quote, they called me back the next day and offered to "meet me in the middle" and I pay half. I again decline. Ultimately they did the right thing and didn't charge me. I do want to say the work done was beautiful but they kept the gold clasp from my bracelet and made changes to an heirloom piece of jewelry I wasn't yet ready to change without my approval. I will not be trusting them with any of my jewelry in the future.

Absolutely insane that this place has good reviews. They pierce with externally threaded jewelry (might as well just pierce everyone with safety pins at that point), and didn't tell us that until the jewelry was already in (when I asked before the piercing they said push pin). They only sell Invictus jewelry, which actual piercers do not and will not use as their mill certificates are unverifiable (hello-you literally can't verify if they're implant grade and you're putting them in people's bodies?!) and it's an absolute trash brand. They somehow lost the piercing catheter after they completely pushed it through the skin, walked out of the room to grab another with it still sticking out and then genuinely pushed another one in to re-pierce it cuz they couldn't fish it out and pierced it at a completely wrong angle (yes, a nose piercing with the post sticking straight down your nose). A 12-year old could do better piercings. Should have just driven away when we pulled up and realized it was inside a literal house. Please, do not go here. Truly go anywhere else. I recommend looking up APP members so you at least know you're getting jewelry that's meant to be in your skin but literally if nothing else just don't choose this place. I am appalled and don't know how they're in business. read more

Jessica, Holly, and Van are all wonderful. I was having ongoing issues with piercings (nipple) that I've had for nearly 7 years, over the last 5 months. Thinking it was my spray tans irritating my piercings, I visited another tattoo shop on a monthly basis where they cleaned my piercings/ put in new jewelry and it seemed to curb the infections, however they always returned. I found Clean Slate Tattoo & Piercing after doing research, and felt like I should get a second opinion as to why I kept getting infections. Immediately Jessica knew the probable cause, which I was never informed of at the other tattoo shop. She, as well as my doctor, are confident I most likely developed an intolerance/allergy to the surgical steel jewelry I was wearing, which can sometimes happen even with long term piercings. It is clear that Jessica is extremely knowledgeable with piercings and issues they may have, as she has over 20 years of experience, and spent a significant amount of time giving me recommendations and creating a plan of action. After a thorough cleaning, she switched me to Titanium jewelry. I feel way better already and I feel more confident knowing a professional is helping me get my piercings back to normal. I very rarely write reviews, so when I do, it's because it is so very well deserved. I brought my eleven year old son here to get his ear lobes pierced. Jessica, the owner, and a piecer was absolutely wonderful. She was professional, knowledgeable and used sterile technique (one of the most important pieces to me). She made my son feel at ease, explained everything she was doing and took more time than she needed to in order to engage with both him and me. We had this experience this morning, so time will tell on how the healing goes. However, should we have any issues at all, she encouraged us to call her directly, email her directly or come to see her. Her continued dedication to best practices was so incredibly appreciated and valued by me as a consumer. I would and will refer friends and family to her and Clean Slate. In addition, the staff, from my initial phone call to our interactions with them while we waited was also quite lovely. They were polite, funny and real people. I drive by the shop everyday. When I found a piece I liked, I new that was the place I wanted to try out. So I stopped in at lunch with picture in hand of what what I wanted. I couldnt do it at that time so I made an appointment. When I arrived to get my piece done I was introduced to Adam Hart. I could feel the tention as soon as he asked if thats really what I wanted. "Yes that is, since I brought the picture in I said to him" Adam.. So you want words.." Yes Adam... Thats exactly what I want!!" He said NOTHING!!! Everything I said he had a negitive to say. I guess he didnt want to deal with my SMALL tattoo with not a lot of detail to it. However, In spite of my design it has great meaning to me. But Adam wouldn't know that because he didnt ask... Actually, he didnt say one word to me! I felt very unconfortable being there. When I went back for touch ups... Same situation. Adam argued with me on what I wanted to be done. Hello. I have always been extremely happy with the awesome customer service, and you all make me feel family. Thank you. You don't get 5hat in many places. Delaney is my go-to girl. She is a very pleasant,happy, and free spirted young lady. Delaney has done 90% of my piercing, and Jess did a couple for me as well. I am a frequent flyer there to have earrings removed (10) for a test or surgery. Also, I return to have them put back in. Delaney and I have a great time when I buy all new earrings. She is of great help when I pick them out and an awesome help at placement. I can honestly say I would never go anywhere else. Thanks, Delaney and all of you! Absolutely great vibes from the moment you walk in. Very quick service and it was very easy to contact them, Jessica answered all of the questions I had. I was very nervous about getting my cartilage pierced, but I calmed down once she started to walk me through the process. I felt very safe here, the piercing barely hurt at all, she did amazing! I've had other friends get the same piercing at different shops, and the piercing + after it were very painful for them. But I hardly felt any pain during the healing process or the piercing. The piercing itself was very efficient and well-done. Jessica does a fantastic job at thinking ahead about what you want to do with your piercing in the future (jewelry wise) and planning out spacing on your ears in case you decide to get more piercings in the future. Second time with Derik, he's amazing. It was my daughters 17th Birthday. She wanted a tattoo with my self and my daughter in-law. We have been here since 6 pm,it's now a quarter to nine. The owner walks in, I'm laying out on the couch on my phone (it was no big deal to anyone else) meanwhile there's no one here besides 1 guy. He told me it was embarrassing and unacceptable and to sit up, that looks unprofessional" After this I'll never be back, there was no reason a costumer needed to be talked to that way. Absolutely love this shop! I have had 11 piercings here, as well as one tattoo and I don't regret it at all. I always feel incredibly welcomed when entering this store and the artists are very easy to work with. I've never had issues with piercing or tattoo healing, and the piercing jewelry and materials are clean and sanitized. The artists and the piercer were amazing. Super kind people who know what they are doing. My husband got a tattoo done by Van the owner and it was beautiful. He got a bear within a forest and the work was incredible. I got my faith, tragus, and lobes done by Jesica the other owner and I am impressed. I'm in love with my piercings. Van did a memorial tattoo for me and I'm thrilled with the result. It was a long time getting this tattoo because I had some health issues and had to cancel an appointment. Clean Slate worked with me and even held my deposit from the original appointment even though they didn't have to. Van took the photo I provided and did an fantastic job translating it to artwork. i LOVE it here, i always see the girls upstairs for piercings, they are the nicest people ever and always make sure i leave with exactly what i wanted. I have gone a few times to get piercings "re-opened" and change of jewelry. You don't have to be 18 to re-open and change jewelry which is nice and convenient and responsible. This is a healed tattoo that I got from here a long time ago. Some of the lines are fading horribly, too thin or way too dark, the leaves idek what to even say about those... and some of the lines are extremely uneven. I was recommended to do a coverup but a different tattoo shop bc of how bad this was but I tried to give it a chance to look half way decent. I even had my tattoo artist shade in the leaves and even then the line work just ruins it completely. Also not to mention I have 23 tattoos and all of them have healed perfectly and I have never had a single issue but this tattoo healed awful/caused itching where I thought I was going to get an infection. Not sure if the products used here are actually good quality or disinfected properly... Definitely getting a cover up in the future but good luck everyone else!

Got my labret done and she pierced it with a horse shoe, healed horribly and most painful piercing heal I've gone through. The horseshoe she used was also way too small and left no room for swelling. My mom and sister got a few old piercings re-opened and a few new ones as well. Staff are great about explaining everything and were super careful about keeping everything clean, lots of hand washing, multiple sets of gloves, everything sealed and opened in front of you. Couldn't ask for a better experience. Tip: just because they only take walk-ins (unless it's a child's appointment) does not mean there is endless availability (especially on the weekends). When we visited they only had one piercer in, and early in the day filled up their queue and had to turn some folks away. So if you're driving a distance or can't come back another time your best bet is to wait for a weekday, or on the weekends arrive when they open and be willing to kill some time around town. Calling ahead probably wouldn't hurt either.

Before you start blaming others for your lack of care and cleanliness you should really take care of what you just did to your body per the instructions.

I called around to find a shop & found this one! I saw & read the bad reviews but didn't let that deter me. I'm so glad I went!!!!! Is this place expensive? Yeah. I paid $90 for my nose piercing. Did I get what I paid for? Fuck yeah. I got top notch titanium jewelry and excellent service. Amara pierced us and she was so gentle, and fast!! We were in and out within 20 minutes. She even provided us with a sterile cleaner. What other shop does this??? Whenever I'm in the area I will deff be coming back. They have the nicest collection of jewelry !

Damion ASSURED me he was great with fine lines and that he could ABSOLUTELY knock this out of the park for me. I gave him a chance, regrettably. My 4 year old granddaughter can draw finer lines than Damion. We proceeded and as he started with "details" I could see that it was going downhill. I was hopeful that he had unexpected tricks up his sleeve. We finished it and I paid him, but he was not deserving of $1! After getting home and really looking at it and seeing the look on faces of family and friends, I reached out and told him my dislikes and he told me to give him a chance and he would gladly touch it up and get the details I wanted. That was a mistake, all he did was pile on more thick lines and more color. I was left with a UGLY tattoo that stayed scabbed, infected and scarred my arm! After numerous conversations with Damion, he did refund my money in full, and said he will MAKE THIS RIGHT! He had me go to "his guy" for a laser removal consultation. That was a disaster in itself. Damion then agreed to use "MY GUY " and he would send me payments each month to cover the cost. He ended up sending me 3 small payments then ghosted me. I spent $2,000 to get this disaster removed and another $1,000 to get it covered! Please remember to always vet your tattoo artists! Damion says he has 14 years experience, however my new artist is only 4 years out of her apprenticeship and blows him out of the water!

When calling Kayla, she answered and was so kind. Asked a few questions and sent an email. Called…read moreback after sending the email, I called back and had a great and knowledgeable conversation. Jetted down to the shop and was greeted right away. It was nice to see Kayla was actually waiting for me. The artist James is so soft spoken but the best EVER. He was already ready to go when I arrived. They were surprised to see me come when I said I would come. Although Google has hours for them, the hours are different on Sunday's now. They close at 6 PM, not 8 PM. From coming in, doing paperwork, conversation, and rendering payment, it was less than 30 minutes. So quick, clean, great experience. I'm not sure what folks are looking for in a shop. However, this shop has a kick ass shop manager who must have a high pain tolerance with all her amazing ink and great ink crew. I highly recommend it. Clean, sanitary, and very well maintained shop and booths. Happy Yelping!

Kla is Amazing! I went to Kla to get my eyebrows micro-bladed it's something I've thought about for…read morea while and finally did it. I've always known my brows were asymmetrical but thought I fixed that with makeup (until I saw a picture and they looked completely different!) Waking up with perfect brows every day is LIFE CHANGING. No more wasting time on trying to fill, draw, find the right brand of makeup etc. Kla's professionalism and dedication to her work is incredible, she is truly an artist. She has such a great personality and you can tell she loves what she does. I felt comfortable and at ease the whole time and she really takes her time making sure you get exactly what you want for your dream brow. 10/10 recommend!
