This was my very first colonic and needless to say I'm pretty impressed. I had originally wanted to go to a whole other place in Alpharetta but they were completely booked that weekend so I Googled more places in Atlanta and found this location. I'm pretty impressed! I did a lot of research on colonics beforehand so I thought I had a pretty good idea of what was going to happen...not quite. It's always a lot different when you're the occupant. However, the therapist that worked with me was very helpful and informative. The moment my fiancé and I stepped through the doors we were welcomed with warms smile and happy faces. I am very displeased with the service offered at Clean Start Cleansing Atlanta - Johns Creek location. I scheduled an appointment using the online scheduler for 11am at the Atlanta location. The following day (today), I received a call that the original appointment could not be honored and that I could reschedule for today at 12 noon at the Johns Creek location. I arrived approximately 15 minutes early and was met by a know empty reception area. A UPS (or FedEx) driver arrived to deliver a package. He yelled "hello" into the back of the building several times and was never answered. He asked me if I had been helped and I advised him that I had not. He replied that he had driven by earlier and saw that someone was, indeed, in the business. I was finally greeted and was asked to complete a consent form. Since I arrived earlier than my appointment, I was allowed to sit in the massage chair while I waited. My appointment was scheduled for 12 noon. By 12:30pm, my services had still not been provided. I was never given an update as to when my services would actually start. At this point, I decided to leave. Moments after I left, I received a phone call from the establishment with an apology that a problem with a previous client caused the delay. If you are a person with a tight schedule or are someone who expects services to be rendered at the scheduled time, I would highly recommend that you mark Clean Start Atlanta off of your list. read more

I should have given this review a long time ago but my laziness prevented me from getting it done but they are very deserving of an excellent review. This place is awesome. It started with a little hiccup when I purchased a yelp deal, the day that I originally wanted was not available when I made the call but there was nothing online stating that these dates were not available. The owner called and apologized for any inconvenience and did state that she was getting full from being on the RHOA and that regular customers were still coming regularly. I can not recall the person that I had assisting me though my colonic experience but she made me feel very at ease for this to be my first experience. I was even more pleased when she was able to look at my waste and provide feedback on what I should do in the future or cut back on. We also had the ionic foot detox that informed of some health concerns that needed to be looked at as well, it was pretty cut and dry, but informative. Due to the short wait we had, we were offered the massage bed as well, this was very relaxing as well. The place is kind of small but it definitely gets that job done. Everyone was very knowledgeable about the products as well as giving good feedback about any questions that we had, we with some probiotics and some products that are good for detoxing the liver. I recently came in for my first colon hydrotherapy session for bloating and a general detox. This was my first time getting one. Lala was very nice and knowledgable and provided me with tips and advice to better improve my digestion. She was not trying to sell me a lot of products but genuinely cared about my well being and what would be beneficial. I love that they also have a host of herbal products for every ailment or part of your body you want to work on such as the dieters cleanse or for me, an herb to help relieve some symptoms that come with my asthma. I have been taking it one day and I noticeably slept better and could breathe better. The colonic has already made me feel much more lighter, less full all of the time, and more in tune with my stomach. I prefer the open system and became familiar with the Angel System while in Austin, TX a few years ago. The developer of this system lives there and has an office. The upside is that the Clean Start facility is clean although there were missing tiles in the ceiling and since you are laying on your back, you can't help but notice. The staff were pleasant and attentive a little more than I needed. I bought a series of colonics and I'm not a novice of cleaning up behind myself as is customary at most open colonic facilities. I don't remember being asked if I wanted to include a tip on my first visit as I had already paid for the colonics upfront. But this second time I was a little put off by the notion that I should tip the attendant. I believe if people got paid to do their job, there would be no need for tipping. The cost should be all inclusive, I felt the need to leave a tip even though I didn't want to. read more
