This is now a Jax car wash. Everyone here is pretty friendly. They actually pre-rinse the car here. The actual wash is 80-90% effective.

I took my grandmas car here to help her out cause I take my car here all the time and the guy was not paying attention and kept telling me to pull up and didn't notice that the tire was not aligned until it was too late. Been coming to cleanview every month for not only my car but also family members for years. Every time I come there's an issue. If it's packed, vacuums hardly work. High pressure soap rarely actually has soap, only water. Air guns are broken up leaving low pressure air. Don't use the brushes or you'll get tons of micro scratching. Today on a Thursday at 10 am waited for half an hour to get soap put in the system. After all that time, says he's got to bleed the system which will take longer. This should be done before open. Car washes have way to much competition in this area to be not providing services and chem that we pay for. I'll just go down the road where at least there's soap. read more

My boyfriend and I came here last night after having a failed experience at another nearby car wash. We've never been here before so we didn't quite know what to expect. An employee actually came out and helped us pay and make a selection. We decided on the "Good Wash" for $12. Ultimate wash is $16 and Basic wash is $7 (only includes presoak and rinse) Car wash was fast and my SUV was left clean. They have monthly car wash packages. $30 for unlimited ultimate wash. Cheaper than Jons Auto Wash down the road. They also have self service bays (open 24/7, 365 days) and vaccums. They are closed on all major holidays and close at 9p during the week and at 6p on Sundays. They have happy hour prices, $2 off between 7p-9p. read more

I paid for the $17 wash and my 2024 Explorer was not at all clean besides the normal road dirt! I still had bug guts on the front bumper and windshield as well as having heavier dirt on the bottom trim areas of the vehicle! I do understand that some of the issues are related to the frequency of how my wife's Explorer is washed... but I paid for a good wash (@$17 it should be white glove good!). But I didn't even get the soft roller to dry the vehicle at the end for that amount! Sounds a little pricey to me... as I can get more down the street for that price! I'm not complaining about the cost... just that I'm not getting the better quality for that cost! Nobody applied bug removed to the front of my vehicle, nobody washed the back gate of my SUV ( which everyone knows the car wash won't get clean by itself), and they had the nerve to try and upsell me on a promotion for 2 months. I did that on my other vehicle and you almost have to do that to get a great wash (IMIO). I'm just stating that the wash I paid $17 for is really not worth more than $10 at best! I was shocked that this was the next option beyond the basic car wash with no options! I'm not in the habit of having to re-detail my vehicles after I paid the better part of a $20 bill for a car wash! Basic wash was $10 and my car was still dirty; they didn't clean the windshield. Customer service when I paid cash was a little snarky for my first time when I had questions, then even made the remark "this must be your first time... I couldn't tell" (sarcasm) not appreciated. For a car wash, it's good. Although your windshield will always be pretty wet after... And for an occasional vacuuming of your car, its good. But if you want to do it weekly, expect things to not always go your way. The mat wash machines were broken most of the winter... then I see they aren't out of order anymore *end of April*, but at two locations, they failed to work. Chesterfield location, One had water, no motor- one had motor, no water. The third, at Shelby twp. , which was out of order most of winter, had water, but would not turn to pull my mat in. And on that same day, the vacuums didn't work either. Minimal suction, even after pushing button. I was soo frustrated, I left immediately. I was told by the attendant it was 10$ for 2 months and when I said no thank you he said why? I said because you guys will charge me every month, he reassured me that was not the case! I have a video recording of all it, and guess what they charged 40$ a month oh and you guess it, Frank does not believe in refunds! you can cancel it but not get more money back this is a huge scam and a disgrace, they should not be allowed to conduct business! There are two ports where you can pay before going through the drive through. I paid with card but I believe you can pay with cash as well. There were several kinds of car washes you can pick from, ranging $4.99 to $15.99. You can also pay for a one month pass of unlimited washes and they offer some hot wax spray for an extra $4 or so. I thought it was odd that an automatic penny donation was charged without any sort of notification. My car was sprayed down for a few seconds by two attendants with hoses before I entered the car wash. Car wash itself is just like any other automatic car wash. I drove a little further than usual because the solid 5 star reviews caught my eye. Car is clean but I don't have anyone asking me where I got my car detailed or anything. I think it's worth mentioning that there are several 1 star reviews that have been filtered. I paid for the "Good" wash, and it was a good way to lose money. I use to work at a car wash and I don't know what happened to standards with car wash business today but it's terrible. Throughout the 48313-48051 Area has been terrible. The wheel wells weren't touched. My car still has bug guts on it, still has dirt on the skirts and bumper. Car was still soaking wet after I got out of the tunnel. I gave them a shot today and it was terrible, now I gotta go clean my own car because they failed to do that. read more

My car antenna was ripped off during a wash. The nice people working at the wash wrote up an incedent report and brought mw my antenna from inside the wash. The manager is ghosting me and leaving me with a bill. AVOID THIS PLACE. my wife and I have been coming here for the last few years. Never had an issue with the service until today. The Bald Black male walked up to my wife while vacuuming out here vehicle. she was scared because he walked up behind her and questioned who I was from our last visit. She told him that's my husband and have a good day. He then decided to run his mouth which isnt a very healthy choice. When she got in her vehicle he called her by her first name which she never shared with him so there should be no reason to know that. The dude is a FN creep and I'm highly urging ownership to reach out and make this right. I would urge women to be cautious of this guy when going there as my wife wasn't comfortable. There is a real issue when you can't get a car wash without being uncomfortable or in fear. I decided to test this place out after getting some grass clippings on my car while doing yard work. Nothing crazy, but green doesn't work on a black car. Got the full wash with tire shine. $15. Still have grass clippings stuck on the side of my car. Useless. I doubt I'll be returning. read more

Really disappointed in this place. My boyfriend has the monthly membership here. After giving this car wash several chances, the soap NEVER comes off at the end of the car wash. We had to use the self serve afterwards to get all the soap off. They also have been saying for over a month that the computer is "down" when it's supposed to scan the membership card inside the windshield. The worker was very kind and helpful but it took 5 mins for it to be figured out. Every time they say "we'll make sure your plates in the system" not coming back here. read more

Tried this place quickly on my way back to work from lunch. Prices not bad. Just like most others. I did the $8.99 wash and I think it did better than some others that charge a few bucks more. They hose off your car when you enter and it's all automated from the 'ATM' style machine you pay at upfront. They had a guy out by the machines to help, which was nice if you've never been, like myself. Anyway, I was skeptical if the wash 'knew' I bought one of the upgraded packages and watched as I went through to make sure all the correct machines popped on to do their job. Well they did! So that was good :) Only reason for the 4 stars is because they don't have someone at the end to physically wipe down your vehicle, after going through a pretty effective dryer. I'd prefer a wipe down to make it perfect but oh well. It still turned out very well and I'll go back sometime when I'm around the area and need a wash. I am very disappointed with this car wash. My car was damaged from them and they are telling me it was already damaged before I came in. The car is brand new and has no damage before entering there wash. And won't pay for the damage. Won't let you see the video of it because of privacy. This is crap I have contacted 6 lawyers and all have said there is no privacy act to show video of your car going through a car wash. They know they were at fault and do t want to own up to it. read more

Not sure how a clean car is considered essential during Governor Whitmer's shut down order. This business is taking advantage of a loophole and considering itself essential because it's in the automotive service classification, even tho it clearly is not essential. This is an obvious sign of an unethical business practice which cares nothing about its customers, employees, and community. As of this review Macomb County has the 3rd largest confirmed cases of Covid-19 and this place is creating a "lure" that brings people out of their homes when they should not be out. And because this wash is keeping their tunnel open, they are also forcing their competitors to open theirs as well. I will no longer bring my vehicles here. DO NOT GO TO CLEARVIEW CAR WASH I have been going to Clearview Car was for years, my husband always bought me car wash cards for Christmas and my birthday in May. Since new owners took over they would use my card and charge me a dollar more if my car had mud on it.....what a rip. After using the card from last Christmas I started using the card from my birthday. On January 4, 2014 I went to the car wash and had three more uses on the card. The owner told me the card was only good for 6 months, he punched the card and said he is keeping it for it expired. I will NEVER go back to that car wash again....for he is a rip off artist. read more
