During the cleaning I was present as I was in meetings during their time here, however, I gave them the appropriate space to complete the work (e.g, when they finished downstairs I moved downstairs so they can continue upstairs) I switched about 1 hour before they left my residence. When they left my home, the master room was just vacuumed thats it, I cleared out my glass desk so it can be cleaned and all the surfaces were dusty and untouched. There were corners that you can tell were not even touched as there was dust, laundry room was untouched all surfaces we not wiped, mirror streaks, sliding doors not wiped from inside with windex to remove baby hand marks, and so on. There was many spots that were missed and I was left very disappointed. It is with a broken humble heart that I write this, but even if I was offered from the owner to return and clean the spots missed after sending her pictures, it is not my job or responsibility to have to check. I was asked to leave everything out of the way in which i complied and the main purpose of my inquiry was because it was dusty from being vacant. To conclude, I recommend maybe creating a checklist or a simple walk through prior to leaving making sure all rooms were cleaned appropriately. Reflecting on this, what if you get a client that is not home during the cleaning? This is a learning experience for everyone but I do hope for future clients, you take time to inspect as a owner and teach staff also that prior to leaving you must properly review each area.
