Stay away like the plague. Run and find anyone but these guys. I scheduled a window cleaning appointment (an Amazon local deal) and they send out a carpet cleaner. Fair enough, mistakes happen, it's how the company handles their mistakes that matter to me. I called their customer service to try to resolve and Jennifer tried to blame me for the mistake even though I followed her instructions exactly when I called to schedule the appointment earlier in the week. I took a day off of work, and instead of trying to work with me they spent the first 15 minutes of the call making me feel like I screwed up. Scheduled an appointment to have our hardwood floors cleaned and sealed. We had to figure out a time to be able to have no furniture in the house and not walk on the floors/ put furniture back for 24hours. Kinda hard. So, come day of appt- 2 hours prior to arrival time nick calls and has to reschedule for 2 days later. Really!?! Our entire house is in the garage are you kidding?? We agreed to 2 days later but, my husband and myself were not home to check the finished product. It took nick 45mins to complete his work. Thats quick!! When we were able to walk on the floors I studied every inch. I was expecting more than what i found. It looked like i had cleaned them... I found many places where hair and dirt had been sealed over. We called to have nick come back out and explain the process/ look at my concerned areas. They said it was really important to have their customers be happy with their porducts. We have scheduled 3 appointments times and have gotten calls 3 times, day of, that they cant make it. Shoot, I wish I had read the reviews before I used them. Nice guy that came out (bobby) but terrible job. Floors were wet for 2-3 days afterward and the dog smell I was smelling was terrible after it dried. Worse than when I started!! Then the company took too long to call me back, so I hired DA Burns to clean them again. $200 later I am very satisfied. Should have went with them in the first place. Eco Clean would not refund my money, they would only come and do my floors again. We have an appointment with your company. Includes air duct, carpet, house clean. Service personnel 40 minutes late, and because of damage to the machine could not complete the service. So we have a second appointment, the service personnel did not appear until we phoned to tell us just can not reach. We also make an appointment for the third time, nearly one hour before the service staff there, still tell us duct cleaning machine damage could not complete the work. But according to our plan, we want to move into the house the next day, so service personnel only carpet and house cleaning. After we moved to find that there are many places dusty, we once again clean. We thoroughly disappointed, but also to make an appointment fourth it? Impossible !!! read more

Absolutely terrible company to work with! I called in to get information and the girl i spoke to told me they charge by the square foot. I mentioned i have only one room to clean! She said its 69 cent for regular and 99 cents for steam cleaning. I had also asked how long it dries so i can schedule when i can be out of the house. She said it dries within hours and i can put my child on the carpet right away. So i scheduled an appointment. When the cleaning guy arrived he told me there is a 125 dollar BASE CHARGE regardless of how many rooms you are cleaning. Hello! That was not mentioned. Next he tells me since Im paying 125 already may as well do steam cleaning since its better. I ask again how long will it dry, to which he answers at least 24 hours! Well thats great, because I have a 1 year old and I did not make other sleeping arrangements since I was told it dries within hours! So what am i to do? I paid 140 bucks for regular cleaning (because that takes 3-4 hours to dry) while i could have had the better one done if I was correctly informed! I called in after to ask for some kind of a refund since I was misinformed to which they completely refused to offer me ANY sort of compensation! I wish I read these review before I bought a coupon! Never use this company because you can do what they did and do not need to pay $125 I have two rooms. The carpets have stains and dirt at the edge. After Bob did the steam cleaning, the stains remains and the edge is just as dirty as before. Had an appointment today from Living Social deal and was aware they might be a few minutes late. I called after an Hour but they don't have any people answering phones, but their paperwork says the worker will call if they are going to be late. 3 Hours later I found their Yelp reviews which all made sense. Refund requested from Living Social...glad they have the option to do so even after appt. was set. I actually got a nice reminder call the day before, but it must have been automated from their 3rd party online appointment system which I had to use initially since noone answered. My husband wrote a bad review below, and now I want to take a moment and thank Eco Clean for responding to our need so quickly. Our experience started out bad but ended up great. They came back the next day with no added charge and sent their best person. I forgot his name, but his name was biblical. He was an angel. The first guy told us Eco clean doesn't use ladders and refused to clean my second floor window on the inside because of not using a ladder, and the second guy had a ladder and did it right. Our windows are sparkling. I wish I could remember his name to personally thank him on here. He is Hispanic, black hair, tan skin, very handsome. My teen girls were giddy. In the end we paid him the full amount, because he worked long and hard on every window. Thank you Eco Clean for doing the right thing! However, the Living social deal is not a good deal. I paid $59 which was supposed to save me $160 for 20 windows. When the guy got there he said one window = 2 Windows, they do it by each pane. The deal is for only outside Windows not inside. So I had to pay an additional $150. So in total I paid $209. When we went with the company sparkle last summer we paid under $200 for all the work, with no coupons or deals. So, thank you for fixing the problem, but I don't think this is a good deal. read more

Eco Clean - Carpet Cleaning Near Me - Bellevue, Washington

I purchased an Amazon Local deal -- 9 rooms up to 1800 SF of dry cleaning for $175 (a $449 value, they say). The technician called to see if he could come early, which was fine. We talked about parking at my house, and he said he would need to park in the driveway if I "upgraded to steam cleaning," but could park anywhere if I was going with the dry cleaning deal I purchased. "Bait & switch!" alerts activated. As soon as he arrived, he asked how old my carpets were and suggested the upgrade... which, after applying my $175 deal, would "only" be an ADDITIONAL $375. Ummm.... $500 for 2 hours of steam cleaning? Of course, this included some magical protectant that was promised ro not only keep future stains at bay, but somehow correct the carpet "wearing" that comes from walking on it. My carpets look nearly new when freshly vacuumed, so I can only imagine this fairy dust must be like hairspray for carpet that prevents footprints from appearing when it's walked on. No thanks.... BTW... the $449 "dry cleaning" process, as Steve B mentioned in his review here, is a spray applied to the carpet and then "agitated..." then it is left to dry for an hour & a half (which is when the technician leaves)... after which YOU have to vacuum up the "crystals" that contain the "encapsulated dirt." For $449 I would expect the job to be FINISHED, not just some stuff applied and left to dry... that would be like the house keeper spraying some Easy Off in the oven, then going home and telling me I can wipe off the dirt myself in an hour.... CAVEAT EMPTOR!! No deals here. read more

I am not surprised to be yet another bad review for this company. Tried for over a week to make myself available for a carpet cleaning appt., and was told every time they weren't available until just outside the 2-4 hour window I provided on multiple days and times. I was the one that had to keep initiating an alternative, they provided no follow-up. When I finally booked an appt. and tried to use their " 25% off ALL SERVICES" in May that they sent me, I was told that my service didn't qualify....that there was a minimum charge and I was charged the full amount for cleaning two small pet spots. Apparently it's only 25% off if you are not having a small service....clearly not "ALL SERVICES" as claimed in their ad. False advertising, lousy management, expensive services- do not use this company!!! read more

The Plusses: Eco-Clean made an appt. for the week I wanted. They sent e-mails to remind me of the date/time, and the technician arrived about 25 mins. early, which I would prefer to being late. The office staff were always friendly when we talked on the phone. Bobby was friendly when he arrived, and he explained that the stairs (an additional $5 per stairstep beyond the Groupon voucher) should have steam cleaning to be absolutely clean. The reason for the one star rating: The outside edges of each stair step were what looked dirty, so I said go ahead. About half-way through doing the steps, I saw that the outside edges weren't getting clean at all, and he explained that if he used his equipment on the edges, it could damage the walls. I said, well the edges are where we are concerned, so after you finish that step you are on, don't do the rest. We will clean them by hand with Folex. So that saved me about $35 by not having him do the final 7 steps. Our family room carpet has the most traffic so I agreed to have him do the steam cleaning process there, too. That cost an additional $40. I am writing this post the next day, and the carpet is obviously cleaner than it was, but for paying the additional $40 for steam cleaning, I should not be seeing some of the spots that were there. Bobby worked for a little over 45 minutes to do 5 rooms, the stairway landing and some of the stairsteps. I think renting a Rug Doctor at the grocery could have produced results similar to Eco-Clean. We are selling our house, and once the furniture is back, the carpets will look fine. The carpets are 15 years old, and in most rooms are builder's grade, so our buyers will want to put their own carpet in anyway. Still, it would have been nice if the cleaning job had been more than just "adequate." The old adage is true: You get what you pay for. read more

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! I bought a $99. service for window cleaning at my home. When they got to my house they told me the charge would be $160 due to the number of windows I wanted cleaned. I approved that amount. After paying them $160 via a check, I realized that I had already paid $99. for the service through Groupon. When I called to get reimbursed the money they owed me, they refused to refund me. I ended up paying $259. This is not the amount I agreed to. Stay far, far away! Eco-Clean (aka Nature's Way) is a total scam and one star is too much. Groupon sells a deal for window cleaning from a company they list as Nature's Way in Bellevue. Of course there's no Yelp listing for Nature's Way, which should have raised a red flag from the start. When the cleaner showed up, he was a freelancer who works for Eco-Clean (this listing). From what I can tell, Nature's Way, Eco-Clean, Eco-Cleaner Home Cleaning Services, Eco-Clean Property Services and EC Property Services are all the same scammy company (and all have different websites). We bought a $99 Groupon deal to clean 20 windows inside and out, a $370 value according to the Groupon. That works out to $18.50 per window (both sides) at full value and $4.95/window for the "deal". $18.50 seemed high but it's supposedly environmentally-friendly cleaning and we assumed a window was a window and it would average out (see below). We have 36 windows total, so we expected to pay a bit more for everything. The 36 windows range from small 2'x2' accent windows to a couple of 3.5' x 5.5' larger windows and 2 French door windows, though the majority are standard 2-pane windows you find in most homes. When he arrived, the cleaner told us the extra windows would be $7 each for both sides. Huh??? Then how come we're supposedly getting a value that's advertised as $18.50 per window? Even better, a window isn't a window it turns out. Those standard 2-pane house windows are actually considered 2 windows (each pane counts as one). So the extra cost to clean the additional windows was going to be $200 (negotiated down from $250 to start). In other words, the true value of cleaning all the windows would be $570 (the $370 supposed regular value for 20 windows as stated in Groupon + $200 for the extra windows). That's ridiculous for a fairly typical, 3,000 sq ft. home. The one bright spot was the cleaner. He was friendly and did a decent job but he's only a freelancer so we can't blame him for the false advertising and scammy approach of this business. read more

Bought a Groupon and this is day 3 were I am waiting that somebody returns our calls or cleaner comes back to clean the spots and streaks away. I send this yesterday as a responds to an email I got about their services. No response either. I had our windows cleaned prof. many times before and never had a problem. Nature's Way Groupon for $99 purchased, online appointment booked, Eco Clean showed up on time in branded van with logo on shirt, and removed shoes at door. Cleaned my 20 windows inside and out and did all the extras I requested for $6 each, even did a little extra without me asking. Easy, right? Looks great to me. They didn't remove the tacky baked on construction drip off of one window under my deck but I can't even get that off with turpentine so fair enough. I bought an Amazon Local deal for 20 windows and a Living Social deal for 16 windows thinking that it was from two different companies (the names were different). Eco Clean came out and took care of our 16 bottom windows. Nate was friendly, courteous and went out of his way to answer my questions and even did some extra cleaning of over spray on our windows. The windows sparkle and look great! The next morning I received a phone call from Eco Clean asking about my second appointment with them for the 20 windows. I was confused because the deals had different company names on them and concerned because I thought they might refuse to take my second deal. Not the case. Jennifer, the gal who called, explained that they had north end and south end businesses branded with different names, but occasionally when they were busy, the other company would pick up overflow. She said that I had purchased the deals in good faith and they would honor both. Nate came out for a second time and we had a giggle about the misunderstanding. He continued with his friendly, courteous service. We had a mild disagreement about ladders but when I showed him the coupon notes stating that ladders OVER 16 ft would incur extra charge and I let him know that I had called to ask prior to buying the Groupon, he said "Ok" and off he went. At no point was he ever rude and I felt like I was dealing with a stand-up company that wanted to make the customer happy and do the job well. For those complaining about window panes and not realizing that a window that slides open is considered 2 panes...this is an industry standard. My parents actually own a window cleaning service...except they are in Colorado, so I can't use them to clean my windows in Seattle. ;) In closing, I would recommend Eco Clean...and especially Nate! read more

I called the company before I bought the Amazon local deal to ask clarify what 15 window cleanings meant. I asked if it was one side of the window or both inside and out counting as one window. I was told by the woman on the phone that both inside and out counted as one window. The cleaner was supposed to arrive a noon but called and said he was going to be late. He arrived two hours later. He said that the cleaning was only for one side of the windows and not both sides counting as one window. He said that the person on the phone who told us this was misinformed. He told us that he could not do the window over the front porch because even though it was not on the second floor, which I knew would require an extra charge to bring out the big ladder, because there was a front porch cover under the window, he could not get his window washer up there. He could easily climb up on there and done it but chose not to. Instead I asked him to wash the inside of that window. He said that the large windows counted as two windows even though the coupon did not stipulate window size. He said he was finished and I trusted that he was done, so I let him go. He even said that he did extra washings for us, two French doors, which I did not ask him to do. After I went into the bedroom, I saw that he did not do two windows there, one in my bathroom and one over my front door on the inside. He also left another window washed but not dried. I immediately called him back and there was no response. I called the company two more times that week and there was no response. Finally, I contacted Amazon local and they gave me an email address. After two weeks, I received a response from the email and scheduled and appointment for 9 AM for someone to come and finish the last four windows. The morning of the appointment, at 6:50 AM, I received a call from the man who had come initially and he argued with me that he finished the work the first time and that I he had even inspected it with my husband, which was a lie. He proceeded to argue about his work and so told him that I did not want him coming back to my house, especially with that attitude. I called the main number and eventually, a man called me back. He said that the coupon stated that it was for cleaning 15 panes, so that if a window was divided in half and one half of the window slid open, that counted as two windows. He insisted that his company kept up their end of the voucher and so they did not come out to finish the last four windows. When he arrived on the appointment day, the technician explained that it would ONLY be 10 windows cleaned, if I wanted them cleaned on both sides. What the offer meant, but did not state was that it was 20 pane SURFACES (ie 10 windows) for my $70. PLUS: I live in a split-level home on a level lot (no hills) and the technician arrived with NO LADDER or equipment to clean the Living Room windows on the 2nd floor. In 30 yrs of hiring people to clean my windows, this is the first time anyone showed up without a ladder! In my opinion, the offer was misleading, and I feel duped! It would have cost me another $85 to clean the rest of the 20 windows I had planned to be cleaned. That total ($155) is more than I paid last time at regular retail from another company. Last year the company did a decent job recoating my hardwood floor. This year they ruined the floor. First the technician left a wide area uncoated. He returned and fixed that. Within a couple of months, the floor looked terrible--finish worn off, dark spots. I called. They said the technician would get in touch. He never did. I had this place come out to clean my windows. I bought a deal for 20 windows inside and out on Groupon for $89. The picture on Groupon shows a squegee being used on the windows. Never once was one use on my windows inside or out. The guy first of all showed up 15 minutes late on a Saturday. Then procedes to spray some kind of water solution on all exterior windows after asking my husband to remove the screens. Then the guy starts putting the screens back on while the windows are dripping wet. My husband asks the guy about spotting and he assures my husband it won't spot. WRONG....my exterior windows have spots all over them. As far as the inside of the windows all he used was a cloth and Spray Away Window Cleaner. They look like crap like a 5 year old did them. I am so mad!!! I left to run errands and my husband ended up paying another $100 to do more windows. I came home and couldn't beleive the job they had done. My husband apparently didn't really look at them before handing the check over. He figured they did a good job like our other window cleaner we have had. Called this company to have our windows cleaned. The lead technician scraped off paint on both sides of the front door with the equipment. This happened after I specifically asked the technician NOT to clean the front door window. The front entrance, door mat was completely flooded. No action taken two weeks later after complaining to Kacey, the manager. Additionally, some upper windows were not cleaned properly and left with spots. This company has a lot of issues that need to be fixed. The guy who did our carpets, Tony called at 8:45 to say he wasn't going to make it to a 9:00a apt. He tried to say I scheduled it wrong online, but I scheduled it on the phone with this receptionist. We had moved all of our furniture so I opted to have him come later in the day. When he showed up he was very friendly and knowledgable. My biggest issue is with the product, and how misleading the company is on it's vouchers from amazon local / groupon, etc. read the other reviews....many of them say something very similar. They spray a solutions on the carpets, then use a brush machine to roll over the carpets. Each room takes about 2 minutes. Then you have to go back and vacuum the rooms in an hour....what!?! Really? So as I went back to vacuum the house after an hour and I saw that they don't go near the edges with their machines. Guess it is a good thing I vacuumed because anything left on the carpet was pushed to the sides. We also opted to have the stairs done. A $5 a stair (plus each landing costs double) it was an extra $85. Their machine is too big for the stairs so they spray the solution, then use a hand brush and brush the dirt down the stairs. Now my house is pretty clean, but we have a dog and a toddler, and there was only a small pile of dirt at the bottom of the stairs. I don't think that process actually cleaned the stairs, and definitely not $85 worth. They also wanted $50 a stain....yes, you read that right, $50 a stain. Tony said they would pay another carpet cleaners bill if they could get it out and he couldn't, but for that price it is more economical to get new carpet if you have a few stains. I just think the company needs to be more clear about what they do, and probably schedule less apts as so many of their reviews say they had to reschedule.
