I came here last year for a special event and had a wonderful experience and this year I came back as a regular customer to try them out again! The result was as enjoyable as the experience I had from the first time! I like this way of getting facials and just for self care in general. It's not too involved, but also feels like such a treat. The prices are reasonable, especially if you're a first timer (free!) or wait for their deals (typically close to half off!). I was able to snag one of these deals so my facial was $45 instead of the normal $80-90 or so? They offer a ton of add on services that look interesting, but they're definitely not going to try and upsell you just to upsell you. I had actually elected for an add on treatment here and there, but when I went in and began the consultation portion of my appointment, my esthetician took a look at my skin and told me that they actually wouldn't recommend that add on and gave me the reasons why it wouldn't benefit me the best, which I really thoroughly appreciated! Speaking of which, that just goes to show you the employees here know their stuff! They want it to be the best and most effective treatment for you and I really love having that consultation at the start of the appointment because you may go in thinking you know what you want, but based on their more expert opinion, you could end up going a completely different route! What a wonderful and relaxing experience to get a facial at Clean Your Dirty Face. When I walked in, it was so nice and clean on the inside. There was some products on a shelf and a table. I walked up to the front and I filled out some paperwork. The first facial is $35 and it is $70 every other time after that. There are some enhancements for an additional $30 and some are $50. They did have a bundle for $45 which included 3 of the $30 enhancements. I just got the regular facial to try it out. A young lady came to get me and sat me down in the chair. She asked me a lot of questions about my face so that she could provide me with a facial to meet my needs. She put a steamer on my face and started woth a cleanser. After the cleanser she used an exfoliator. She also used a face mask with teat tree oil which felt really nice and a toner. She did use some ice sticks on my face as well. I recently came here for my first time for a quick facial and it was so relaxing! CYDF is a nationwide franchise and this is the first location in Michigan which opened in 2022. The space is different from the traditional spa facial. There are no private rooms and it's a community setting with three stations sharing the same room. It would be an ideal place to come with friends since you would be sharing the same space. The staff is very welcoming and the space is clean and modern. Mya was my esthetician and was very knowledgeable and explained what she was doing during every step of the facial, the products she was applying and their ingredients. I have sensitive skin and was happy to learn all the products they use are natural, vegan, cruelty-free, and non toxic. The facial oil contained, rose and hibiscus and smelled amazing! My skin felt amazing and had a bright, radiant glow afterwards. I wanted to purchase the toner that Maya recommended and used during my treatment but unfortunately, it was out of stock. They sell their own line of products centered around three categories: brightening, anti-aging and acne. Inside is modern, clean, and vibrant. Easy to make appointments online. Upon arrival you fill out a form regarding your skin and what you are looking for, along with their menu. I have worked with Marlee and she is the best - honestly, the reason I keep coming back! She is knowledgeable, attentive, and very sweet. She takes her time and doesn't rush. My go to is the 30 minute facial and the virgin bundle. The facial is relaxing and helps clear out any unwanted areas. She gives a lovely massage when making sure their face oil is in all my pores. I do love their products - I have three different kinds that are in my skincare rotation. They are vegan, cruelty-free, and ingredients that you can pronounce. Their products aren't overwhelming either - they do a good job categorizing their products and what it is best used for regarding your skin. Cons - prices have gone up. Went to Clean Your Dirty Face for the signature 30 min facial with Mya and it was great! It is not like a typical spa with seperate rooms, you are in a chair with 2 other chairs next to you so definitely a good spot to go on lunch break or after work to give your skin some TLC. Mya was great and informed me of each step she was performing and what ingredients made up the product. I think I fell asleep about 6 times in 30 minutes and it was just the refresh I needed. They will help you come up with a plan for your specific skin. My favorite was the ice rollers portion! Felt so lifted and tightened after. The space is clean and friendly. My sister and I stoped by here for a facial this past weekend. I had a complimentary facial through Yelp RSVP for myself and she had a regular facial with "Tech Neck" which is a short massage for face and neck. The place itself is very cute, clean and bright! We loved the atmosphere. It's very different than your typical facial but I enjoyed the more relaxed vibe. The facials start at $60 and add-ons to from $10-$20. I was really looking forward to blackhead extraction but I was late to my appointment so we didn't have time for that portion of the facial... I did not get the ice globes either, but that's fully my fault for being late! Learn from me and don't be late to your appointment! With road closures the drive took a bit over an hour, so keep that in mind if you live further away. My sister had the full facial time and she really enjoyed her experience. We both agreed that if we lived closer we'd probably do the $99 a month unlimited facials! Our skin truly felt super hydrated and plump the next day. I ended up purchasing the goddess oil and I really do love it so far! I'm typically afraid of breakouts with oils, but nothing yet. If you follow on Instagram and Tik Tok, you get $5 off credit for each follow for a total of $10 to utilize on product purchases. If you're interested in facials, but a little on the fence try out a facial using the "Virgin" promotion. At this time, that promotion makes the facial $25 for first timers! I came in today after finding out about this place through the Yelp Elite events. Thanks to CYDF and Yelp, my facial was complimentary. However, I did add on the virgin bundle, which is $35. This included extractions, a pumpkin enzyme mask, and oxygen boost. When I walked in I was greeted warmly by the woman at the front desk. The inside is really cute. I filled a form about my skin and shortly after started my facial. Ericka did my facial and she was really knowledgable and cool to talk to. She had great recommendations based on my skin. I loved that she explained each product she used, such as the ingredients and benefits. The facial was great, but felt really rushed, which is due to the 30 minute limit. I think this is a good place just for a quick mask or extraction session, but I'm not sure it's worth paying for multiple add ons because I don't think the products are on your face long enough to have an impact. For example, the pumpkin enzyme mask was only on my face for about 1-2min. Usually masks should sit for longer than that and on the site it says 5 minutes for that mask. The oxygen boost was only on my face for less than a minute. The extractions were good, but as in depth as I'm used to. If I'm paying for it as an add on, it should be a significant part of my facial. Therefore, if I had paid the full price it would've been $95, which I think would be way too much for what I received in the 30 minutes. Therefore, I think this place is great for someone who wants a fun experience, it'd be great to go with a friend or two. However, if you're looking for a truly relaxing, customized, in depth facial, I would go elsewhere. I would probably use this place as maintenance in between my usual facials or before an event. The monthly membership is definitely worth it because you can go an unlimited amount of times to get a facial and extractions for free! You're also pushed towards buying their products, which do seem great, but I like doing my own research before committing to a product, especially because they're pretty pricey. My only critique is that while I booked a 30 minute consultation, the appointment before mine ran late and my appointment did finish early. Given the price of a facial ($60) and tipping (which I consider mandatory), I'm not confident that I would return as it was a pleasurable experience but nothing that I would define as 'changing my life.' Came in for my first facial and had a wonderful experience! To start, the staff was very welcoming and greeted me as soon as I walked in. They start by giving a quick questionnaire to assess your individual needs and goals for the session. Your esthetician (mine was Angelica) then tailors a skincare treatment based on your needs. There are also several add ons available to choose from to further customize your facial. I was then brought to the back where my face was examined. My esthetician chose to give me treatments from the Goddess anti-aging line. She was very knowledgable and gave me really great advice to suit my skin sensitivity.
