I have never been so disappointed. I am still reeling from my encounter with the so called dolls. My husband and I purchased a Living Social voucher for three hours of cleaning. The appointment was for 4pm. Two dolls stumble in reaking of cigarettes ONE HOUR late. Mind you, we called multiple times from 4-5pm to ask where the dolls were and kept getting that they were on their way. Finally, after our last call, we were told that they went to Somerset instead of Summit. Yikes. They dont say hello when they walk in and the only one who could speak English was on the phone speaking Russian as she traipsed around my house without even acknowledging me. She looked like she hadnt showered in days. When she got off the phone I said, "welcome." I started showing her around explaining the areas we wanted her to focus on. My husband and I then left for about an hour to give them their space. We return after and hour and a half to them pretty much finishing up. I noticed that the floors are still dusty and nothing seems disturbed by a mop or even a paper towel. Hmmm, leaving so soon? As I walk upstairs I see one of the women using our swiffer and swiffer refills. Wait a minute, $95 for a cleaning and you are using OUR paper towels, windex, Clorox wipes, and rags. I confronted the doll who spoke English who said, "oh yeah we have a mop, but it's in the car and it's frozen. WHAT? You are a "cleaning doll" and you dont have a MOP?! If I knew she was going to swiffer I would have saved myself the money. I swiffer when I am at my absolute laziest and want to just freshen up the floor. When the dolls were all "done" they asked my husband for $10 for the use of their supplies. We thought she was kidding or that we just didnt hear her. Not once did I witness her use her own supplies! We argued for a while and I will just say that it got pretty ugly, and she said she would call the cops if we didnt give her the $10. Obviously, we paid up. SO frustrating. I called cleaning dolls today to schedule an appt to find out my ticket expired. I'm so pissed. Living socials didn't send email reminders nor did they tell me it was for NEW JERSEY only. She said NY IS $20 tolls each way. She said it was in the fine print and it wasn't. Not feeling comfortable with this company. Sorry but I'm a driver and it's not $40 rt to NY. My husband purchased a three hour cleaning voucher through living social. He called multiple times to schedule an appointment and was unable to get in touch with anyone. Finally, after getting a representative from living social to call them, he was able to schedule an appointment for the cleaning. On the day of the appointment, my husband patiently waited for them and they didn't show up. The appointment was for 12:00PM. He called them, miraculously someone answered the phone and said they were running an hour late. An hour came and went, and THEY NEVER SHOWED UP!!! Not even a courteousy call to apologize. Wow. Found a deal on living social and purchased it as a first time customer. I am looking to start a relationship with a local business with the end goal of hiring a company for weekly cleaning of my home and offices. Called tonight (8:05 pm on Sunday) with the intention of just leaving a message. Them: hello Me: oh. Hello! Is this cleaning dolls? Them: yes Me: my name is Elizabeth. I just purchased a living social deal for a 3 hour cleaning...? Them: it is 8 o'clock on a Sunday Me: oh... Is this a personal number? I thought I was calling a business? Them: no this is a business. But can you call back tomorrow morning? Me: (laughing) yeah, ok... Meaaaanwhile, I requested an immediate refund on living social. For goodness sake, buy an answering machine and invest $4 a month in an extra phone line. Or have someone who gives a rats ass about customer service answer the phone. I found this company on groupon and decided to give them a call. Their 95 dollar price tag seemed a tad high however for three hours of work I was expecting a t op notch service. I called them and scheduled an appointment for the following Saturday for 9am. Saturday comes around and they don't show up until 10:10. I had to call them at 9:20 and ask where they were. They never even tried to reach out and let me know they were stuck in traffic. After I called, the woman said they would be there in 5 minutes. I called back at 9:45 and she said they' would be there in another 5 minutes. Finally they showed up. After 1 1/2 hours (because there were two people) they sent me a text they were done. I came back and they were still finishing up some cleaning, while consistently letting me know they were already 30 minutes over. I was being made to feel as if somehow this was my fault. Afterwards, I walked around the apartment to see that they didn't even touch my dining room table. It was completely dusty. They told me that the inside of my fridge was cleaned, however the shelves were still very spotty. I then noticed that the few socks under my bed were still there because they didn't even bother cleaning the floor in the bedroom fully. All they did was clean the visible areas. Overall, I am extremely upset with how this business handled a new customer interaction and cleaning. It was my first time getting a house cleaning service for my new apartment, and was hoping to find a company to use on a consistent basis. Have had them take care of my cleaning needs several times, and like their speed, pleasant demeanor, efficiency and how they bring their own quality supplies to include a vacuum, rags, cleaning liquids and such. Scam! It was supposed to be 6 hrs of deep cleaning. When she came in the door she had her aunt or mother with her and said it will be 3 hours because of the additional person. Unfortunately the other person is extremely slow and does a very poor job. Took her one hour to clean a 10x 9 office and all she did was take things off the table dust them and put them back on. Vent grills windows and carpets remained untouched. The younger girl who runs the company is also slow especially since she's always on the phone with other potential customers. In the end they didn't vacuum or mop any floors. Did not use CLR or any good products to clean the bathroom and did not polish any of the furniture. Not one room was cleaned well and had to be redone. If you buy, make sure you do it through livingsocial so you can get your money back but they will cancel on you alot if you do because they got your money already Best bet.. No Show! I called the company and scheduled an appointment, and 20 minutes after the time that they were supposed to arrive, i called to confirm they were till coming. Woman who answered said that they had me scheduled for the next day...... alright.... she said she was going to call a few people to see what she can do and call me back.... an hour later, she NEVER called me back. ** Total waste of money ** I checked the website of cleaning dolls and was pretty impressed. I called them and schedule appointment for deep cleaning (not regular cleaning). What I noticed after they done their job - 1. Very unhygienic way of working - they kept the dust bean from the toilet in my bedroom, they left the toilet cleaning products on my dressers - yuk - I had to clean my dresser and bedroom again after the cleaning dolls left. 2. Bathroom was as dirty and sticky as before, the girls just cleaned the mirrors in the bathroom 3. Bedroom - All the dust and lint was at it is below the bed. 4. Didn't cleaned any picture frames or nightlights (as they claimed they will do in deep cleaning) 5. Kitchen - Sink was not touched left dirty 6. Dining table not even touched all food particles on table were as it is, chairs were dusty. 7. Leaving room - didn't wipe/clean sofa 8. All floors they finished wiping the floors so fast that even foot print on the floor was as it is after their service. 9. The WORST of all - Dishes they kept as it is just rinse in water, all foods in dishes, pots, pans were as it is - I WAS SHOCKED .... For what I paid to them? It was total cheating. Horrible company with horrible customer service. To begin with they came late so hurried the process and it showed on their service. They even cut my service short for an hour. They advertise they do so much and although I was there to supervise I had to ask the repeatedly to clean areas again. The cleaning wasn't deep cleaning as advertised. They didn't even clean under the beds or behind the toilets. I called to express my thoughts and they made TWO appointments to come back to finish. First appointment they didn't show up and when I called back they rescheduled and never showed up, picked up my call, or even called back. Don't use them. You will regret it. PLEASE READ!!! DO not be fooled! I booked a service through Living Social. The cleaning dolls scheduled an appointment with me but never showed up! I continuously called and continuously got the answering machine. When I finally got a person, I was told they were hospitalized. I felt bad and said I was sorry but why didn't anyone get back to me. The answer "I don't know". Gave them the benefit of the doubt and rebooked for a Friday and was told someone would be there between 4 and 5. I called at 5:45 because, again, no one showed up. I was told they needed to check their schedule and asked if they could get back to me. I said yes and waited. 3 days and still waiting to hear from someone. Called Living Social for a refund. Received it with no problem at all. I appreciate Living Social but strongly feel they need to get rid of this vendor. Honesty, this is the first review I've ever made even if service was bad but to not show up twice and ignore my calls is a first for me. PLEASE BEWARE! I then tried to call and instead of going to voicemail it said the mailbox was full. When I finally reached someone they scheduled and appointment with me and never showed up. I used Cleaning Dolls and was very disappointed in the service. I was told 3 hours and two people showed up and cut the time in half. My floors were not mopped properly, under my couch was not swept. I mentioned I had 2 bathrooms and she was about to leave without cleaning one of them. When I did told her about the other bathroom, she kinda cleaned it. She stood on my bed with her socks on as she cleaned my fan and did not dust the bed off as she left lent on my bed. I feel like I have to clean my house all over again. I really wanted to like this company cause I like to support small companies but this was unacceptable. I truly wish this company the best but I will not be using them again. I bought a voucher through living social and scheduled with the company. On the morning they were supposed to clean i confirmed. They did not show. I called and was told they could come 2 hours late or reschedule. We rescheduled. Another no show. I called and was told there was an error and was rescheduled once more for the next day. In the morning I called them and confirmed. They didn't show up again. This time when I called no answer. I left multiple messages with no return call. I was then forced to take it up with living social. Cleaning dolls had marked my voucher as redeemed and didn't answer when living social called them either so now it has to go into investigation and I am out $175 until resolved.
