We've been using Irene's Cleaning services for a bit now at our home and are very happy with their services. This week we had Janet and Sandy as the team and they did a wonderful job including in my daughter's room, which is always a challenge (baby dolls everywhere...so many baby dolls). The ladies were thorough and efficient. We regularly use this service in our three bedroom home that has two adults, one child, and three cats and they leave the home tidy and refreshed. Also- This is NOT a criticism as accidents happen but the handling deserves praise: several months ago with a different team, a cable in my husbands office was accidentally damaged during cleaning and the service was quick in their response remedy the error and it was handled professionally and quickly. We originally arranged for two cleaners, which they clearly confirmed -- but on the day of the appointment they showed up with only one and then flat-out refused to send the second person, completely going back on their promise. When I asked why, they didn't try to fix anything and instead basically told us to go find another cleaning service. What made this even more upsetting was that we had helped them in the past during their own scheduling issues, and despite that, Irene herself was shockingly rude when we tried to get answers. The most recent team I received did an absolutely phenomenal job with great attention to detail. It was likely the best job any cleaning service has ever provided for me. They are dependable and arrive within the time they tell you they will. You do need to be clear with them about what you need done and how long it will take to get an accurate quote. I have always been quoted for two hours, and they have taken three and a half hours. It's not a big deal as they do an excellent job, but just something to be mindful of. I have used a number of cleaning services, but I tend to come back to Irene's due to their dependability and availability to come on short notice. Two ladies came to my home and worked their butts off for five hours making sure every corner of my apartment is clean and the attention to detail is just remarkable. You really know you're an adult when a clean household brings you this much joy. I requested a deep clean because our regular cleaners just weren't doing it so I found this business off a recommendation. I've never had someone come to do a deep cleaning but this was above and beyond my expectations. Every dusty baseboard corner, every crumb buried deep into in my rug that I accepted would never come out and questionable food my toddler smushed onto our floors was taken care of. The only picture I have is one I creepily took while they were cleaning showing just how much sh#t they found in the corners of our rooms. I wouldn't hesitate to call them again. I work from home and the cleaners were super respectful of my needs since I had to be right in the middle of everything. We paid much more than we do for our other cleaners which made me hesitant at first but they spent the better part of five hours making sure that everything was cleaned. Online quote said 2 hours, after the cleaners arrived they quoted 4 hours instead of 2. Spent maybe 3:45 hours cleaning our place. After the cleaners left I said 4 hours was too much, and they did eventually charge us for 2:30 hours. Our normal cleaners take 2 hours. read more

Initially they did an adequate job of cleaning my unit. They did ask to be paid in full via zelle before the job was done as others have noted. They were high pressure about a deposit which I can appreciate because they might have been taken advantage in the past-- but I found it difficult. When I was able to get someone to go over to see their work, I identified some issues after I paid. They were eager to remedy the problems as soon as the front office became aware of them and they apologized. Their price was similarly competitive to a licensed and bonded service that I was comparing them to, but they came out sooner. ***DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY.*** I've never even done a Yelp review before, I'm not that kinda guy. I tend to regard Yelp as too biased to trust cause people mostly only come on here to complain. But this was so bad IT FELT IRRESPONSIBLE TO NOT WARN PEOPLE! Shockingly, offensively, suspiciously bad service. For a number of reasons: They charge you a hefty deposit, which is weird but whatever, and then halfway through the job tell you you'll have to pay more, and if you don't pay them then and there they stop and leave your home half-cleaned. When I pointed out how uncool that this, they said it was in their "terms and conditions" they sent. All that would be sketchy on its own, but the sketchiness is only half the issue. I have an ailing, elderly pet that cannot handle harsh fumes. I told them this in advance. When they showed up, I told them where to clean and where not to clean, and what exactly I needed from them, then reminded them of my pet and to keep me in the loop on the process so I could move him to another room to prevent exposing him to any fumes. I left so they could use my parking spot, then heard from the company about their weird charge, so I went home to make sure priorities were taken care of first, because the company doesn't let you call the workers yourself. When I got there, the house was still filthy, one of them was cleaning out the inside of my air fryer for some reason (can I even use it now? What did they put in there???) and the other one was in an area I specifically asked them to wait for, blasting my pet with chemical fumes. They hadn't done anything I'd asked them to do, and only done stuff I specifically told them I didn't want them to do, including putting my pet's health at risk. And a good chunk of the house went uncleaned even after I corrected them and they worked the rest of their time. I'm trying to give the workers the benefit of the doubt, they seem like nice people. Maybe there was a language barrier, which would be fine! But then they should have just said they were having trouble following my English, cause I could've spoken Spanish with them. Either they didn't care to solve that problem, or they didn't care about my pet's health or my requests. Either one is lame, but the latter is real bad. So yeah. Bad service, badly managed, too expensive, untrustworthy, and overall bad experience. I am not just complaining, I am warning people. At my job, I paid the deposit and they stopped halfway through and said they would leave if I didn't pay more money. I paid, then they stopped a second time and told me I actually had to pay $300 more for the entire job. DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY I cannot stress this enough if you are considering hiring this company RUN. I hired them for a DEEP CLEAN move in clean for my EMPTY house. I was made to pay in full via Zelle before the completion of the service which is a huge red flag that I missed for 5 hours of work at $80 an hour. Like I said the house is empty and I was told the deep clean includes cleaning the walls, windows, floors, kitchen, inside the cabinets and shelves bathrooms, bedrooms, inside the closets and shelves. Once I arrived home I made the shocking discovery that they had left almost everything untouched. My walls were not wiped down I had cobwebs and marks all over to prove it. Food in the kitchen drain. Hair and spiderwebs still in the bathtub. Closets completely unopened. Windows with smudges all over. Counters with dust and buildup still in place. Marks and stains that are removable still on the floors. Carpets not vacuumed. What did they do in my house for 5 hours if the only things in the house are untouched ?? Tried to resolve this and asked for my money back after sending them pictures and videos of proof. They insisted that I let the same team come back and fix it so they came and did a quick wipe down with rags using no products. Idk what you consider a deep clean but that is definitely not a deep clean. They spent a little less than an hour "correcting" what they needed 5 hours to do originally and didn't even go over all the areas that I had taken pictures and videos of. I was not happy at all and called right away but they refused to answer so I called the next day and someone else answered and told me someone will reach out to me by 6pm so when no one did I called at 7 to find out my number had been blocked. I called from another phone the next day and I was put on hold for 8 minutes just for the guy to come back and tell me that when they sent the other team back they said the house was spotless and didn't match what I had sent even though I walked them through it and showed them that nothing was done before they half assed 10% of the work before leaving without any notice. not letting me even get a single word in hanging up in my face and blocking the number.
