The following week rolled around and same tech came. I messaged Charlie and got no response. Every time they come to clean we have to put our cleaner in the pool. We requested to cancel and are now told we have a 1 year contract and have to pay 35.00 a month for the remaining months. So basically with this company if they don't do a good job and you are unhappy your screwed. Don't sign a contract with these people or you will be frustrated and stuck. We have been told either keep the contract or pay the 35.00 as the customer service is horrible and they don't care about the customer.

We eventually…read morerealized that there were very few suggstions made during the sales process that could have helped alot, (ie. equipment placement, maximizing pool area vs patio area, land scalping, and a few others), but looking back, my feeling is that getting the sale was the most important thing. Of course not knowing the process we thought we were getting the best guidence. It was very exciting during the construction process, and we felt we were being kept up to date and that we had made the right decission. This was the first time we were getting a pool so I'm sure our lack of experience probably showed. However one thing after another kept coming up, and since it was warranty work I felt my concerns were not a priority, yes the easy things that could be addressed in a few minutes over the phone, or that they could talk me through so they didn't have to come out were taken care of, but a service call was a different issue. I eventually realized there was a leak shortly after completion. After multiple attempts, the leak was located and repaired. But it took more phone calls than I felt were necessary to get the issue resolved, and it left a horrible scar on the bottom of the pool. We were promised the plaster that was mismatched during the repair process would be blended or the pool would be replastered, especially since the original plaster was beginning to discolor. Six years later that still hasn't happened. After the very bad winter a few years ago, the heater died, they did come out to replace it in a timely manor, but I was paying them so I feel it raise the priority. My best advise to anyone considering Accent Pools is to get several quotes from other companies. I've read the positive reviews they put on line, many are the same ones they show during the sales meeting, they don't show or post the less than farorable reviews. Don't forget pools require alot of maintenance and are a constant monthly expense. And when something breaks, it can easly cost servral thousand dollars.

Fixing this was beyond my skill-set, so in searching for a technician, I found Jason (Pool Medic), his reviews stood out to me more than all the others so I had him out to diagnose the issues. Jason confirmed the issues, and quoted me a very reasonable price to replace all of the suction side PVC/Valves. He also replaced the Pump seals. Jason got the job done very quickly, and my Pool is now working even better than it was before. Bottom Line: If you want an extremely competent, knowledgeable, effective and honest pool repair Tech who charges reasonable prices- call this man first.
